We Indian Gurkhas have contributed so much for this country vividly shown in this movie yet we face identity crisis .I am an Indian Gurkha and my father has served in the GR regiment giving half of his life for this country while sacrifcing his time with the family and even miss my brother's delivery yet we are so proud of him. Currently I am studying in Odisha and people here ask me that whether I am from Nepal and one uncle even told me if I am from China and many such things in my own state West Bengal and it takes a toll in our mind..sometimes I literally feel like saying tera bap jab tereko bada hote dekh raha tha tere ko pyar aur advice de raha tha mera bap tu log ka gand baccha rha tha border mai ..sorry for my language but emotion aur himmat dono bhut strong hai hum mai so to all my fellow countrymen look beyond appearance cuz you don't know their side of the story...Stay strong my Gurkha brothers and love your fellow brothers and this beautiful country..A proud Gurkha and an even prouder Indian.

You shouldn’t feel like this brother. The problem is, that nort East Indians and Indians from leh ladakh have not been adequately represented in the main stream and much of India is unfamiliar with them.There is a lot of exchange between north, south, west and east upto bengal. Beyond bengal rest of India is painfully ignorant of the people and culture.
Things are changing now with the development progressing at a faster rate and lot more people from north east coming to other parts of India and vice versa.
