Man no wonder I've been running out of laundry detergent so quickly and then I have to buy more. Thank you so much I really needed to hear that. My mom was right when she said no no no and she only put very little liquid detergent in the washer.
I tried this two days ago for the first time and it worked perfectly! Two Tablespoons of liquid detergent on a large load with some very soiled clothes. I'm sold!
For years I've used one of those medicine cups (you know the kinds that come with cough syrup and measures 30 ml) to measure the detergent into my wash.
@@simpleinverso8628 facts, nobody putting a table spoon of detergent and have dirty clothes still it’s good for you guys because you guys have a easier job when you guys come to fix the machines. I’m sure she don’t use a tablespoon for her wash
Almost every person and review I've ever watched uses way too much laundry detergent then they blame the machine for poor performance especially the new HE washers.. Like the instructions clearly say how much to use whether its the old school washer or an HE washer yet everyone uses like 3x the amount in one load.. Laundry detergants are not the same as they were back then but alot of people still hold on to that too much soap habit.. We are all guilty at some point of using way too much soap while doing laundry.. More soap does not mean cleaner clothes in fact it has the complete opposite effect and leaves residue many consumers aren't aware of that fact.
Thanks for showing us what a load of laundry looks like and weigh. Hey, got a question for ya how come there aren't any real vids on how much detergent to use... guys let me be the first to tell ya. When using a front facing machine, first let it soak.. when it starts the main wash, keep adding the soap until you see a lot of suds. Not to much and not less. As far a liquid fabric softener, I'm not sure with that but I do use it. I think I don't use enough cause I never! Have smells to my clothes ever until I start using more. Sorry to break it to ya guys. You'll never find a vid on how to get those clothes to smell like what the bottle says it's supposed to smell like but here it is! Thanks and yw
You said two tablespoon of detergent per normal load! What is the normal load for you? How many kg. My washing machine is 10 kg? If I feel it full load 10 kg what's the amount of powder detergent I must use? Two tablespoon or more?
Hello, as described... Need to use aaprox 2 table spoon detergent... So is it for full load? Further if I eloborate... If I have 8kg washing machine and fill it upto its max capacity. Than for that I need 2 table spoon detergent?
I can't find powder detergent at my local shoprite, they only have liquid laundry detergent. Even the local walmart only has liquid detergent, even arm and hammer which I used to use in the powder form. After using the recommended liquid laundry detergent, I have to run and extra regular wash cycle to get rid of the soap smell or else the residual soap makes my skin itch.
honestly i dun care lol. i just put 1 cap of liquid detergent for my front load washing machine each wash. some people said it's too much. but i have sports clothes. so far the clothes havent made me itch or anything. and they smell reasonably fresh (not too strong or too faint) after taking them out. so 1 cap for everything =D
I only use powder on my towels and use ultra clean pods, powder makes my skin itchy and dry. I put two drops of tree oil in it and gets rid of bad odour and bacteria
@@Home-Tech I'm sorry, but i don't get it: are you talking about 2 tablespoons of DETERGENT, like we've seen in the video, or.....??? Where does "TUNA" come from?

that`s the way to do it. Thanks. Great video
thank you for the info! I've been using WAYYYYY too much detergent for years
Me too
Same here. Over 4 times
4 years later, you are stellar sweet ! :) Thanks for advice!
I hate when all these tutorials just say "loads" like it's a standard of measure. What does it look like. honestly i have no idea
To effectively clean your clothes, you need to use only 2 tablespoons per load at most-and that's for big loads weighing 12 pounds or more.
@@Moonlight-96 thanks I appreciate your use of lbs, a measurable unit that I can wrap my head around
For years I've used one of those medicine cups (you know the kinds that come with cough syrup and measures 30 ml) to measure the detergent into my wash.
Even for a large load?
Why is it so gd hard to find the correct amount of detergent to use depending on load size? It's a gd conspiracy man.

Overusing liquid detergent is bad unless you add extra rinses
why mitigate using too much detergent with extra rinses? you think you're getting extra clean or what?
