Kobeni was an a*-hole to Denji because she didn't know Denji's background.... And her horrified reaction was very human.... But from what I can see, Kobeni was actually truly the one who motivated Denji to also start taking his devil-hunting job seriously because Denji is the most powerful and ACE of the group.... He has power of the devil while everyone were just Human employees except "Power" who is weaker than Denji. Kobeni forced Denji to take decision right there on that lift to directly confront the enemy. Because that's Denji's job. He put others at risk of death while enjoying the fact that he can't die.

But I like Kobeni, having a sudden urge to hug and comfort her, even if it's 99% of death awaits us somewhere.
