(We have seen the eternity devil becomes more powerful because of her reaction). Make the biggest coward immortal with fear of your existence. A curse for Kobeni but a good deal for the death devil.
Akane paid one nail to use the power of Snake Devil. Himeno paid her whole body to use the power of Ghost Devil and be killed with a single attack. That is not fair.
Akane only has ONE attack per nail tho meaning she can only use 20 attacks if you include toe nails and she needs to wait them to grow again before she can use it next, while Himeno as long you paid the exchange you get the power permanently, huge difference..
I believe she just like War devil.. Has two personality that can switch to its demon and user or maybe Kobeni just being badass when her panic kicks in
But Kobeni is alive and not possessed. Asa died but Yoru kept her mind in place so Asa can be the one on the outside and it doesn't draw suspicion, after the last chapter it seems like Yoru was hiding from the other horsemen which is why she freaked out when Fami showed up.
Kobeni is the only member of the squad who survives through the entire story arc. Everyone else (including Denji*) dies. *It just doesn't stick with Denji because he's the Chainsaw Devil.

And one theory, the reason my Kobeni hugged Denji is because she can transfer protection to the person she is holding. That is why Denji also didnt got any shot from that snake girl. She didnt hug Denji for her protection, she hugged to to protect Denji

She is the most sane person I've seen in csm like why people get annoyed at kobeni being scared of devil like mfs denji and power have some weird powers that can kill normal human easily obviously she's gonna be scared imagine seeing a dude with chainsaw parts in real life that would be terrifying.
it's always so unsatisfying when your enemies are at their weakest and you can wipe them out... but then you choose not to. sure she might need to protect denji but... it's not like they're gonna end his life and they can't endanger his life anymore if they dead. and they're only gonna learn from this experience and come back more prepared

In the Manga you can see sound effects of her continously pulling the trigger even after the last shot aimed at Akane in the car even though she has no bullets left. She was very ready to keep shooting her until she would have finished her off but considering that she had momentum on her side and no bullets anymore while Akane may still have some it was the best outcome to have them flee the scene while still scared shitless and shellshocked from the Makima and Kobeni attack.
