This channel is primarily focused on video games and related meanderings. I also sometimes make parkour videos, and an assortment of aimless content based on convulted things I find generally interesting.
258 Day Vegetable Garden Timelapse!
The time-lapse was created from photos taken in 2020. And video footage mostly from 2020 as well. It took way more work than I thought to manually compile a time-lapse from individual photos, but focusing so much on the small differences between the photos in building it, was a fun exploration of my garden from a perspective I haven't seen before. Hopefully the finished video offers that same feeling. It's really interesting to see the effects of time on plants, compressed down.

Vintage Speaker Woofer Replacement for Retro Game Room

I found an adapter for ss to genesis on ali express was not cheap but they are custom made works good no noticeable lag or anything and i can just use it on genesis or unplug adapter and run on saturn
@@LowestDifficulty Nice! Did they post any input lag numbers in their data sheets?
@ no lol its a sketchy listing on aliexpress and there is visible hot glue in the casing lolol i found a forum on how to make an adapter and I think they are making them based on that guide lol
@@LowestDifficulty lol! Well if it's working for you that's great!
Hi man, I have a question. I received the same pair of speakers from my father. For you, if I only change the suspensions, will they sound good?
Hey, yea if you change the "Foam Surrounds" it might even be better as it will be more genuine. For me it was about the same price at the time to get full replacement woofers vs the foams. And simply replacing replacing the woofers is alot easier. They still sounds amazing all these years later.
The blue tone of the buttons and stick matches the artwork so well✨🥺
@@MaxRei_Xamier thanks!!!
What about the lights at the top?
For my artwork they just shine through the paper, clealy visible. I also labeled in the artwork where they would be. You could cut little holes for them if your new art is too thick to shine through.
Please gift it to me 🙏😊
What is the name of the paper material? I'm from Mexico.
Hi there, just use a glossy thicker stock paper. Nothing special, just make sure it's the right size. I used 11X17".
nice! what paper did you print your artwork on?
You can use anything really, but I used glossy and something a little thicker so it doesn't warp under the plexi. And 11*17 size
Happy bday to the best console of all time!
so beautiful and cool 🔥🔥 BEEEEEP
You're the cutest!
Nothing quite like the VMU startup whine.
You know I put that in there just for you <3
I still have a crt tv and a DreamCast laying around in the hot garage so I'm not sure if it still works. One day I want to bring it out and test if it's still working.
Do it man, nothing like seeing these old consoles and games on a CRT. Just looks sooooo good.
@novo1858 The only problem was that we were using that video spliter that splits with snes. I've heard with old consoles that it builds "memory" over time. It's still worth a shot.
@@mr559 definitely worth a shot!
hi in the video the girl has this pink border and the text has shadow but when i open the psd with gimp they are not there? is this because of gimp or are they missing in the uploaded file? i love the design and would love to use it too :)
Hi there! Thanks. That issue must be because of gimp, other people have used the uploaded file without any issues. Good luck!
Gracias amigo, buen trabajo
Gracias!
I dont know man this looks like a lot of work
Lol, eh it's not too bad. It's worth it if you want a custom looking stick.
Pretty sick, and stylish customization, for your F-500 Elite arcade stick! I see you not only play Fighting, but also Shmups (Shoot'em ups). 😎🔥💕
Thanks dude! And yea I mostly play shmups with it, one of my favourite genres these days.
@@novo1858 me too, in fact, I was born with this genre, thanks to my family who loves obscure treasures
@@Levin_Pilot_246 very cool, I played a few as a kid but never really followed the genre. But those few experiences back in the day propelled me to seek out more in my teenage years and then got addicted to them hahaha
@@novo1858 uuuffff..... it happen just like me. However, I am more into arcade genre, rather than RPGs, dating sims, visual novels. I simply love arcade more than anything else, very quickly to understand, and getting used to it, specifically those come from retro era, such as 80s, and 90s, some 2000s as well, but those which are made the way it should back in the day. There is a indie retro game style developer named TERARIN GAMES, makes cool retro-style shmups
@@Levin_Pilot_246 Yea I still like and play most genres of games, but arcade style games are just perfect when you get older and dont always have as much time to dedicate to games. Arcade games are perfect for playing in little bursts, and they keep the intensity up so you feel like you got some good gaming time in, even when its short.
Did you print this yourself or get it done at a shop
Hey there, I got it printed at a shop
Hello! Any tips removing the ball? I'm struggling with it, looks like its not gonna get out forever
Hey! Just use a flathead screwdriver on the backside of the stick, like I did in the video @3:08
@@novo1858 Even used the box cover as a flathead so maybe its the model (venom)
@@nokuga6731 you still can't get it?
@@novo1858 nah, like its really hard, me and my friends (who are experienced at modding sticks) tried it with flatheads but nothing, i dont know if mayflash did this on purpose or my arcade stick is just like this
@@nokuga6731 that's crazy! Never heard of that before, though I know they can be really tight from the factory. I don't think it's on purpose, as these stick are meant to be modded and such. Maybe try heating the lever shaft a bit with a hair dryer, and get something like a rubber oven mitt to grip the ball top with, to add some extra mass for a better grip and more leverage.
Wow this is awesome
Thanks man!
@@novo1858 I’ve had my copy of Sega Smash pack for 21 years, and I just finally got a proper light gun for VirtuaCop2. I had so much fun today playing through it with a proper gun instead of the controller. This video was quite a treat, now I need to get another for 2 player
@@Alexzw92 Oh yea, I played through Virtua Cop 2 on Sega Smash pack endlessly as a kid, somehow having a lot of fun simply using a controller. But the Light guns make all the difference, that's how it was meant to be played. It's so good. Thanks for the kind words about the video, it was a great party and my friends loved it. I was only able to capture a little bit of footage honestly, we also had the four player setup on the main TV with some crazy games of Chu Chu Rocket and Outtrigger. I wish I got some footage of that as well, but we were having so much fun I forgot hahaha
So neat! Great work buddy!
Thanks dude!
Easily my favorite budget brand of woofers. They look nice, have great build quality, sound amazing, and they're quite forgiving toward their enclosure.
Yea they're great! In this case they were also a perfect match, very close specs to the original woofers. I'm still using these speakers in my setup, and now have them paired with a Yamaha EQ-550 and my existing Yamaha AX-596. They sound better than ever! All my friends think they sound incredible.
Awesome job on this video and creating a beautiful garden 🪴 so sorry about Carl 😢❤️
Thanks Linda! It's sad about Carl, but he had an amazing cat life.
Beautiful work brother. Happy to see our ol little Viking warrior Carl get a send-off 🥰
Thanks bro, it felt good to include Carl in this. The garden was his favorite place to hang out.
Quick question does it matter what size paper I use cause the closet size I can use is 12x18 but it’s printed for a poster cause that’s the closet I can get for 11x17 glossy paper
It does not matter as long as the artwork can be printed at 100% scale on the paper. If the printer they are using can accommodate it with small margins then it should work just fine.
@@novo1858 I know what the problem is the place I use to print doesn’t scale the art work what should I do?
@@theweebking5789 I'm not quite sure what you mean, them not changing the scale is a good thing. Just create a new file at the exact paper size they will print on, and at the same dpi setting as your artwork. Then copy in your artwork and it should remain the correct scale, save as a pdf, and send to the printer. Good luck
Hey man I just ordered my very first fight stick and decided to get a mayflash. I was wanting to definitely switch out the artwork for it so how do I go about doing that? Is there a certain website or something I need to use? Just wondering how to get a picture with the exact dimensions and such

@Richard Determann you will probably never see this comment, but thank you so much! Great video.
Thank you, and you're welcome!
One question, when I use the template and create my custom art, when I print it, do I have to cut the file in photoshop to fit it directly to the F500? Or do I export the file to PNG and print it as it is, with the guide and everything?
Hi there, export the file as pdf to print, and leave it the same size. Just make sure you print it on the same size of paper as the project file so it doesnt scale improperly.
Mann, coulda just replaced the foams on the woofers!!
May I ask where you got the template for the f500 to start the project? And also where did you get it printed?
You may, www.focusattack.com/template/download/plexworks/brand/venom/fa-venom-mayflashf500-artwork-template.zip. this is the template I used. And you can get it printed at pretty much any local print shop. Good luck!
@@novo1858 thanks!
@@RetroRockGamer You're welcome!
What was the knife you used to cut the holes. It worked so much better than what I had to do mine.
Hey there, I used a surgical knife or exacto knife. Mine was made by Olfa, but any new blade should work just as well
That's is pretty cool stuff. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks!
what do you think about the fightstick itself? it is in competitive grade?
Hi there, I really like the stick. It's very comfortable, feels very premium and the fact that it works with so many consoles gives it a ton of versatility. The buttons and lever are all competitive quality for sure, official Sanwa parts. I have seen around on some forums that this stick may have a little bit more input lag then some other solutions out there, but personally I have not noticed it. I use the stick on my 360, PS3, PS4, switch, PC, and Mister FPGA device. The cool thing is that it's so easy to customize so that you can always swap out the PCB for a Brooks board in the future if you want the best experience.

Bruh you traced everything with an exacto knife, but then switched to scissor and obliterated your precision
Hmmm no not at all dude. Those are some really nice art Fiskars scissors that I sharpened before cutting. It's more accurate to cut straight lines with a pair of good scissors than a blade alone.
Who's the girl?
Its supposed to be a "tactical" rendition of Sailor Saturn, from Sailer Moon.
How do you unplug the wires from the buttons? They look fragile and are kinda hard to get off. You fast forwarded through the entire sequence with no closeup.
Hey dude, they are on there pretty tight at first, but they are quite durable. Just pull on the metal disconnect, not the wire itself. You could even use a pair of pliers to make it easier. Remember, these buttons are designed to to be swapped out and disconnected, so don't be too worried about breaking them.
Can you send me the full stick art work
Hey, there's a link in the description to a Google drive download of it.
Is it ps5 compatible?
I haven't tried it myself, but yes apparently it is compatible with the latest firmware!
What a weeeeeb
Great mod. Can you explain a little more about the switch?. I made the same mod, but i'm having trouble in Saturn mode with the left and right
Thanks! Its been awhile since I did the mod, but Ill open it up and take a few pictures for you of the connection points I made.
bro i'm so afraid to open my f500 and messing something up
Hey man, it's actually very simple and straight forward. Just make sure you take a picture of it as soon as the bottom panel is off so you have a reference for how everything will go back together. Just watch the video a couple times, and maybe a video or two on how arcade sticks are wired. You can do it!!!
@@novo1858 thanks for the fast answer and the encouragement, i really appreciate it!! :) can you recommend me a video about arcade stick wiring?
@@novo1858 i mean, to know how arcade sticks are wired
@@jhx97 Hey no problem. This video seems like a pretty good explanation ua-cam.com/video/Q1rrPG1azGs/v-deo.html. Each button has a positive and negative wire, and the board the wires are connected to is labeled with the corresponding button assignment. As long as you take a picture of it before you start taking it apart, I am very confident anyone could put it back to together.
