Well done on these instructions, consider using restream to broadcast 1 instance of obs to multiple platforms. This will be less heavy on your own machine

I prefer the streaming to be done via the backend. Zoom and Webex have this functionality.

Hi Kevin - what about audio sync. Lets say I am hosting a Live-Stream event and I want to integrate a MS Teams meeting as part of the event, so the participants can work on problem solving as part a team on Teams. So, the participants watching the live-stream open Teams to participate. Won't they have two audio streams that are out of sync? What is the best way to solve this issue? I would really like to use teams as part of my live-stream. THANKS

Hi Kevin, love your videos, you are great in easy explaining complicated things and saved my life few times at work. Would love to see a video about function button on keyboard (F1 to F12) also I appreciate you previous Vlookup video but would love one more in depth when you can explain how to use Vlookup to copy date from one spreadsheet to another. My ex boss were using that a lot in my previous work which make our work soo much easier and now when I started a new career new boss have no clue about excel formulas.

Can we use a speaker and mic for music and to be able the host to use the microphone?
We are having a hard times bringing live event to be more interactive using sounds and microphones and it is really hard to bind with teams and sounds and mic

Hey, you need a simple sound mixer to do it perfectly. Of course, you could use a computer mic but quality of the sound will be poor.

When creating a new tab in Teams (under "General" next to "Posts"), and when more than one UA-cam video is added under the new tab, all the links should appear under the SAME tab (rather than next to each other)

When useing OBS and Teams together the films and clips just dont have sound in broadcast, the multicams (if useing) work perfect though, with youtube the stream works perfect, great video, well synced and Sound for multimedia, it is a pain in the @ss, but my company wants to stick with Teams for live streams, so im stuck with bad quality.......i really hope Teams sort this out, its not of this time.

Where did you get the stream key for Facebook? Did you have to go through the exact steps, that you went through for youtube street key, to set that up? That wasn't clear at the end? Or did you use the same stream key as you used for UA-cam? Sorry "Not a tech" here, just a learner 😃

Hi. Love your videos. Everyday when I'm using teams, I only have 5 kids at a time my TEAMS freezes. I've reset the cookies, updated windows etc. I always have to restart my computer which slows us down because I use two computers at the same time.. Please advise.

One problem here. If you share screen (for example a powerpoint file) on Teams, then OBS just doesn't show the content as now the screen capture is taken over by TEAMS. One option is do the OBS capturing as another participants in a meeting. That is the only solution. So one can not simultenously present a screen and use OBS

I found it, you have to download a 3rd party app such as BlackHole 16ch. Works just fine.
