Kevin, thank you so much for another A+ video. Always learn so much. Unlike previous videos, this video included hand gestures which didn’t seem as natural as in previous videos and items in the background. I found both a bit distracting in an otherwise excellent video. Thanks for making tech so understanding. All the best.
I don't see a plugins button. I'm using the web version on Edge. It does have a green shield that says "Commercial data protection". Chats doesn't even show up. Chrome shows chats if I'm logged in with my business account. To see Plugins, I have to login with my personal account.
Kevin, thank you SO MUCH. I have been have such n awesome time with Copilot today. I never knew what Copilot was for or what it could really do. It created the PERFECT song for my magick shoppe idea. Thanks again!
Hey Kevin and team in the comments just a side note : Microsoft rolled back some Copilot features and there is no more Windows Integration. It's also no longer linked to the Win+C shortcut. Wonderful video anyhow.
Thks for the the vid. A few notes. The windows key combos you say to open CoPilot do not work here, can only use the URL to open it. Also, on the web page there is a 'Chats' icon, but is 'Greyed out' and there is no icon to the right of that as you show, ie the 'Plugins' option, there is none here, are there different URL's ???.
@joeking5211 this was true for me (on the web version) as well, however after I logged into my Microsoft account, the Chat tab worked and the Plugins feature became available.
Thank you for another great review, Kevin! How is the speech recognition with copilot+? The speech recognition with Microsoft Windows speech sucks and is basically unusable.I have been using Dragon for dictation on my laptop for years, but the program is incompatible with new Windows CO-pilot Plus computers.
hi Kevin, thanks for the great overview and for the links on specific uses of Copilot, by the way it is also helpful in coding. But please tell us, when are you going to open the Kevin Cookie Company ? 😊
I'm having the same issue. I updated Office 365 but still no copilot. I did notice its called "Copilot Preview" in Kevin's demo. Maybe the "preview" is no longer available and we must pay for Copilot Pro. But idk.
I'm a little confused. I thought CoPilot was a Windows 11-only feature. I'm using Windows 10, but the things you mention have worked for quite a while now in any browser. I don't use Office, so maybe this product is only useful for people who use that?
I am using an older version of Microsoft office, which don't feature yet co-pilot. Is there any other way to improve my writing through co-pilot besides working directly on Word?
I found the plugin button. It does not work to create music. The message it gave was," I don’t have the ability to sing or use the Suno plugin, but I can help you create a melody for the chorus if you’d like! Here’s a simple way to sing it'
Plugins are not available for me as an option in my Copilot for Edge or MS365. I've seen a few posts stating that Windows has quietly removed the plugins as an option.
actually even easier its built into your browser, you ask a term and it automatically spits out data, on right side it asks if you'd like a chat? now if you can tell me how to open or elongate the search bar on edge that i'd like to know, and how to make opera keep open windows in full, not minimize them? Kevin? co pilot has failed me here. also is there a code word to stop copilot from repeating the whole presentation over and over again? i just want new info i ask for. then ask for a summary. also if you want copilot to choose for you based on what it knows about your behavior, code word? finally can the 30 responses be expanded how? or not? and does subbing to pro, or other version give you more options? Kevin and anyone else what are these?
what frustrates me is why do links disappear? when it shows them for .5 sec it goes over in bold and disappears. and when it does them as foot notes below, often the title may be correct, but content does not show the proof of what i say is true.
I've just asked Copilot, gave me a complete answer with Microsoft links to check and at the end the following : "So, you can use Copilot-generated content without worrying about copyright claims! 😊".
Microsoft Copilot had been very helpful to my work in the past 2 years. However lately, the answers seem to incorporate more cheesy and unnecessary words like, "let's delve into the wonderful cosmic world of drainage inverts". It's really annoying. I asked copilot what its name was and it said "you can call me Lumina".

never again using Copilot, it almost got me fired but messing up my data. i rechecked using chat GPT and it got everything right. Co pilot is pathetic as ever
Copilot is still half baked imo. I can't get the icon to appear in any Office 365 apps including online. I tried everything including updating Office 365 and reinstalling Copilot on Windows 11. Microsoft wants me to pay $30/mth for Copilot Pro. I have the Personal/Family Edition so $360 a year just for Copilot is absurd. Thanks for the video but quite frankly its worthless to me and others here who can't even get it to appear in the Ribbon menu. (typical Microsoft)
I'm afraid I turned Copilot off completely. This decision was made after a serious inquiry I made to collect together some medical, scientific, peer reviewed papers for my research. I got a political lecture about my inquiry subject, beyond belief. Repeatably! I will now never trust Copilot or Microsoft looking forward. Politically slanted algorithms have NO PLACE on a public AI search platform. Thank you...
That’s likely just due to MS trying to protect itself against copyrighted material. I wouldn’t go to that extent from an otherwise fairly useful tool. Do reconsider - there’s plenty more it can do other than research on a single topic for single use case.
