Meet Wellstar Physician Dr. Bryan Piedad

Dr. Piedad is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Piedad received his medical degree from the University of Rochester and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the New York University Medical Center and his fellowship training at the New York University Medical Center for cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr. Piedad specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. His interests include complex arrhythmia management, permanent pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization devices, electrophysiologic studies, and ablations for cardiac arrhythmias: including ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. He is particularly interested in ablation for atrial fibrillation.
He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the Cobb County Medical Society.
