OH BTW just a small note: For anyone that does swap their DMG boost to M1 and their Heal to M2, be aware that your pistol will change to M2. Takes a while to get used to but swapping your buttons does help a lot w/ pushing your DMG boost
It's hard to train your brain to cancel a GA directly in front of an enemy considering it makes you feel so exposed, but after watching those fakeouts I'm 100% going to try this more
This is so creative. It’s crucial to evaluate different play styles, and I’m just super happy I’m able to hear from so many different people who play the same hero. This was extremely helpful. Ty!
Love that Eleyzhau is in this! She's lesser known I think than some others - especially since she only recently started streaming - and doesn't use voice to give her tip, but god has watching her content improved my gameplay so much. All the mercy players in this I'm familiar with are excellent. I can vouch for these tips. Though I probably won't do the swapping primary/alt fire due to muscle memory. Also important: Skiesti mentioned in a comment here that doing this will change your gun fire to alternate as well, which I didn't even think of/know, so that's a bit of a deal breaker for me. Also on the topic of pistoling - BIG YES to knowing when to disengage. Valk is the big time to try to glock, but I've juked so many Mercys who try - and fail - to alpha me while they waste their whole ult doing so, to my satisfaction. Aoe dmg boost is a much better use of time than doing NOTHING, or letting 1-2 teammates die while you try to kill or manage to get a kill. Not to mention that chasing kills can very much endanger yourself. I'm certainly not anti-pistol - it's very satisfying - but this basically falls under Skiesti's tip of putting your life as your #1 priority and knowing when to dip.
my only feedback on your comment is that you forgot to explain that you don't need to kill the enemy - sometimes just putting the fear of god in them is enough lol
@@sethescope Oh of course. Pressuring a nade out of Ana to heal herself is very good if that happens. A lot of times once I see that, I turn around and go back to beaming or whatever.
I really enjoyed this style of video. It's great to see that there are still so many Mercy enthusiasts out there, despite the content drought... All of these tips are very informative, and I learned something new even though I've been playing Mercy since launch.
This is amazing - having creators from all different platforms and community sizes. This is a really unique idea and I love it so much! So cool to see everyone I watch collab together 🥺
OMG THE COLLAB I DIDNT KNOW I NEEDED!! I loved seeing creators I already watch like Eleyzhau and finding new ones to enjoy!! (aka i will now be consuming everyone's content lol)
My tip would be to emphasise what Arisai said. Looking around and being aware of what is happening to your team and the enemy team 100% makes the difference between a bad mercy and a good mercy. You want to be looking around at least every 3-5 seconds to 1: check on enemy flanks, 2: check your ana or secondary dps is topped up on health, and 3: check that your ana or dps isnt being dived. Your primary attention should always be who you're damage boosting (your tanks or dps) and what the enemy team is doing. If you're pocking your primary dps and someone on your team makes a move which could get a kill, flick damage boost to them to secure the kill and get more ult charge for yourself. This includes (doom rolling out onto enemy team, hog landing a hook, ball pile driving, and lots of other stuff)
great work Niandra! It’s nice to watch all these content creators that helped me improve my gameplay throughout the years including u💜 I used to watch your videos when I started learning Mercy💜 Thank you for massive helpful advices⭐️⭐️
Oh my god, this video is amazing, this is what I love about the Mercy community everyone is so nice and cooperative. Wonderful video and fantastic tips!!!
Niaaan this was an amazing video!! I loved that you got our fellow mercy mains together to provide a very insightful look into mercy’s kit!! This was really well done and a big thank you to all the creators who contributed to this video as well 💜
Amazing video as always! The idea was great and It was really cool to see some new creators. The tips were also really useful, congrats to everyone who participated!
KristenRae has the best advice on Mercy! Heal-botting as Mercy gives your team no utility and it steals ults from your other support. I get having to only heal if your other support is a lower healing output hero or if your other main healer is not healing or dead, but if you have a main healer its best to help dmg boost more since it helps your teammates get their ults quicker. If you are main healing as Mercy, leave some healing at the end of a fight for your other support to get ult. I know a lot of people feel terrible if they don’t have gold healing but competing with your second support is a toxic mindset. As long as you are doing your job prioritizing dmg boosting, healing, and giving safe rezzes; you should feel more confident in your Mercy
What a great idea for a vid! So cool! I love the idea of just immediately muting people that make you uncomfortable in voice, I think shot calling can be so impactful but the harrassment that comes with it sometimes makes me just want to stay silent all game ._.
On top of what Jolly said about the pistol... not only is it good to use during valk for killing enemies only you can reach, but this applies to general scenarios in terms of actual character attack range. For example, if you're playing Mercy/Brig and you two get flanked by a Cree and Brig uses her burst combo on him and gets him super low but he ends up out of range of her m1, breaking out the pistol to get those last few ticks of dmg in on him so he dies for the flank instead of living and getting his healers ult charge is definitely worth it. Of course don't secure the kill and let someone die in return because then that's really not worth it at that point, but if you can get the kill and keep your team alive, it's huge. Rein, Sigma, Sym, Winston, and Doom are all good examples of characters who have low enough range that you can secure kills with their help if they get outranged, meanwhile characters like Junk, Hog, and others with medium range can also be outranged by Mercy pistol in certain scenarios. Also although most Mercys love to go for Widow, you should really go for Ana instead. She's a much higher value target unless their Widow is absolutely cracked because as soon as the enemy loses their main support, they're basically crippled until she gets back. Also a lot of Anas like to scope in when the poke phase ends and the fight actually starts between tanks because she figures she won't be bothered while there's space being contested, so midfight is really the perfect time to get her, just like Widow. I've also found that sometimes Anas have also done a bit of sniper-killing as Mercy for themselves and get cocky when they get dove on by a Mercy wanting to do the same, waiting for the last possible moment to nade themself which often works against them. In the meantime, Widows usually don't understand how big of a risk Mercy is taking by focusing them, so they're often fighting tooth and nail to survive which means Ana can be an easier target at times since Widow will usually do everything in her power to survive. Ana's nade + her second support obviously makes killing Ana specifically more difficult if the enemy team acknowledges your play potential but the same can be said for Widow really and although Widow does have a bigger head hitbox, Ana's entire hitbox is much easier to hit because she's more ball-shaped than vertical line-shaped.
6:31 focusing on building your support partners ult. My support partner, Lucio, on the other side of the map trying to trololo booop someone on volskaya at defence spawn...
The thing that i trained myself to do as mercy it to calculate the incoming damage and when to bodyblock a teammate to save his life without risking mine. I won so many teamfights with this allowing that one extra person to survive by using my full 200hp body to shield him. Also it is Animetic general Valk tip, but it helped me so much. On offence use Valk when your side make a pick to pressure the advantage. On defense use Valk when enemies start with the pick to even the teamfight. It helps A LOT. Also Mercy Valk can be used as cheap nano replacement for Gengu Blade.
Your lil graphics are FAR TOO CUTE FOR THIS WORLD
THANK YOUUU
Thank you for inviting me to take part! Great tips from everyone! 💙💙💙
learned from your tips, thank you for sharing!!
U r a goddess
I’m so glad that my favorite mercy main was featured in this video

This vid really highlights how Mercy is so much more complex than most people think. Great job ^^

Great video! A lot of great tips from all the players.
3:50 Hell yeah I've had that keybind for years now! Careful though, that also means you'll fire your pistol with M2, which can feel awkward at first.
Woohoo love your new vids keep it up ❤️❤️❤️
