    The good old stud welder. Even though I'm savvy with this tool, I enjoy watching you work and seeing your techniques. Keep them coming.

    Great video Tony. Helped understand how to work the metal and hammer too. Lifetime member.
    Question. How can I make the slide hammer cam wheel function better? I'm still working on it.

    With that light welding I wouldn't think it would be a problem,however doing mig welding can be a problem.I use a capacitor to absorb spikes on computer cars

    Hi Tony my name is Paul I've been watching a lot of your videos which really help me out thanks so much you're awesome hey I had a question what kind of a grinder gun do you need to do the job right thanks again

    • @HowToPaintYourCar
      @HowToPaintYourCar  6 років тому +1

      Any kind. You just need a grinder with a disc. I'm using an old Mikita with a 16G disc on it.

    Yes you can damage your alternator by welding on your car and especially if you have an aftermarket MSD ignition system and box like a 6 A L. Box. It doesn't take much to disconnect the battery completely just to be safe don't risk it I have fried my MSD ignition buy welding my subframe connectors on my 73 Trans Am expensive lesson. And it states right in the instructions for the MSD ignition system do not weld on car while battery and ignition system is hooked up

    Should wear safety glasses and instead of bending and pulling the pins because you can pull a hole in the panel youre working on. Cut them close then grind whats left

    Even though I am simply just your Apprentice you should have won some safety glasses! Even though you are a boss journeyman painter you should always wear some safety goggles or safety glasses!
