Lindsey Buckingham is one of the most skillful musicians of the century. For crying out loud, when he left Fleetwood Mac they had to get *TWO* guitarists to cover him live because no-one could do the job properly. Awesome talent.

Then a couple of years ago I came across a video of a live 1977 Fleetwood Mac performance of this in Japan - OMG, it blew their album version away! not even close. Prime Live Fleetwood Mac blows away their recordings!
Thus proving the point beyond doubt: if your song idea rocks on acoustic, it's a rocking song. A real musician can show a brilliant idea sitting in a chair in a studio with nothing more then a acoustic, a voice, and a ton of passion!!!

Hands down, one of the most legendary guitarists there will ever be. These days you see endless covers of every song there is, and even though there are some that do the damn song justice, they're still just a cover. The work has already been done. Go and watch a live version of Lindsey doing his song Big Love. How insane is that. Yes it is nothing shy of phenomenal every time he does it but, all the way up to the first time the last note of that song was played, it didnt exist. I just think with the whole entire "cover movement" thats been going on for a long time now, so much potential is lost within the amplified regurgitations...

The genius behind his music was that he put together chord progressions that do not go together in musical theory but he made them work, besides he was not that bad, he just did not live long enough to reach his full potential and maturity as a guitarist. His style was simplistic yes, but he was creative.The nice thing about Kurt's music is that anyone picking up a guitar can learn his songs. It is how i started out as a teenager when i first picked up a guitar at age 14. All music does not have to be complicated.

I have seen many great guitarists life in my time but when I went to Fleetwood Mac concert in Sheffield a few years back I was totally blown away by how good he is. One word ‘Amazing’. I spent most of the night just watching him play.

He has a musical talent that will always be legendary. They made something incredible over many years but this song is remarkable in the great work amassed. I love each of them individually and as a group. Stevie was mystical and Lindsey was pure raw energy Mick was so entranced wild energy and Christine was grace and silky vocals while providing essence and well that base line is just wow John solidly paving the way.

Yep, saw them in July here in Belgium. They booted Lindsey a couple of weeks after I bought the tickets. Took two guys to fill in for him, a vocalist and a guitarist. Great show but not the same without him.

This guy is the real deal and we need more musicians in this day and age to perform like this, no auto tune just all natural skill and talent.

Yep, saw them in July here in Belgium. They booted Lindsey a couple of weeks after I bought the tickets. Took two guys to fill in for him, a vocalist and a guitarist. Great show but not the same without him.
