Isnt the keyboard a synth they are using? Synths are used a lot today they just happen to be connected to a computer so basically nothing much has really changed.

I really enjoyed this live version too, and I'm a little surprised at how amazing they still are at this stage in their career. I'm thrilled that they are touring again even though I probably won't get to see them.
Damn this song brings back such awesome memories. Tears for Fears is still amazing!
It sure does.
How I wish we could turn back the clock to the good old (bad old) days.
I was 17, an infantry junior leader in the Kings regiment, having the time of my life.
Absolutely 😂
Всем привет.Я из Кыргызстана.Мне 31. Мы с папой слушали эту песню далеком 2004 году .Папа, я скучаю по вам.
I loved these guys in the 80s, and they still sound so good now.
Almost 40 years later and still rocking 🎶🎶
Even rocking better
These guys are epic legends, sound so crisp and clean, a masterpiece
Yes they are !!!!
Epic legends?! Pretty extreme comment considering the business they're in.
@@guillermodelcastillo2548 they’re legends Pablo
This song brings back so many great memories. Great Song.
We 70s 80s babys watching. Their voices still the same my 2 favorite guys ever we was clubbing to all their songs. ,,❤🎉
I love how they are performing the exact song, not yelling like artists today. They are so original
That’s comparing to genres that are specifically meant for that. Sometimes screaming is what people want to hear. Music is opinionated, there is not “best music”
@@iamabuu1575 That is true, I do agree with you too
I like bands that scream, I love tears for fears just as much as I love bands like Green Day or the Ramones, Rock music is great, I miss hearing it on the radio
That's exactly what I thought..they are great
"like artists today" as said by EVERYONE that think their generation had the only good music. Go watch any song from the last 70 years on youtube and half the comments will be about how music these days is trash in comparison. Even songs made less than 10 years ago people claim the exact same thing. Let people enjoy what they enjoy, just like those before your time should have.
Shocked to see Tears for Fears still rocking after all these years!!! Their powerful vocals and heartfelt lyrics still carries loud and clear hearing them again. They don't need stupid backup dancers or ridiculous pyrotechnics to enhance their performance. They play and they sing...simply awesome. I thank God I grew up in the 80s when MTV was MTV and when we had incredible music that will last a long, long time.
Vivan los ochentas !!!!!! Somos ochentosos saludos desde México !!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Amen to that 💕💕
Amen they’re great still 💙
Absolutely!
Casi lloro no me canso de escucharlos es casi diario
me dio mucho mucho gusto verlos
This is the best song. Never get tired of it!!!!!
Epic back in the innocence of my 80's youth, and Timely in regard of my present days.
A Song and it's Artists that truly stand the test of Time.
Have to admit, weren't expecting such a fantastic performance all these years down the line. Was a huge fan in my teens. Stunned by this performance..They sound better than ever! Wow!
Excelente! No hay más que poco pata alguien que ama a T.f.f
!!!

Me too👌
🎉
When a song can stand the test of time like this you know it’s great. This song is liked by so many generations.
I agree this is my ALL time favorite song!!
@@vincentgranton4348 my sister and I saw them perform last night in Irving, TX and we were blown away. Their voices still strong and it was like hearing the original recordings. It was one of the best shows we've ever seen.
ONe of my ALL TIME FAVZ from back in the 80s! Lasting memories indeed!
I cried , love Tears for Fears, they show their age and yet their song is timeless and the words are still perfect
Agree!
Hands down,no denying that this is a good song .... doesn't matter what back ground your from. This is a catchy song!
Wow! They still got it! Brings back so many memories of youth!
The 80s music rocks! I was in my 20s and was so fortunate to have been able to travel the world. Now at 58 this song makes me feel 20-something again. 😍😘❤️ Love this band.
You ain't alone
Very nice band..!!only 80sss

You're not alone ! :D
@@MiguelMrJazzManGarcia yeeessssss...!!!👍👍👍👌👌👌👌☝☝☝☝👐👐👐👐👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙋🙋🙋🙋
Absolutely timeless! One of the best bands of all time.
don't be ridiculous - they're not in the top 500 - it looks like a Karaoke in an old-peoples care home - and it's auto-tuned to fuck.
@@DameTremonti proof that auto tune is being used?
They're really talented but leave it at that. Songs from the big Chair was epic. No top of all time or anything but really good solid music, and NO, it's not auto tune. It's good music
@Oxford Winchester You're welcome Honey.
Besides Bruce Springsteen & The East Street Band
Someone said 37 years later ? Sound like they sang this song yesterday 👌🏽😘
Great artists, always loved their music. Nice to see them still performing and they still have their chops!
Amazing ! There aren't that many musicians that still sound original with a clear and unchanged voice even after so many decades. Very, very cool.

APLAUSOS! 👏👏👏👏
SIMPLESMENTE: OS MELHORES!
"unchanged voice" 🤣🤣🤣
Fantastic!!! Everytime I hear the beginning guitar it’s takes me right back to the 80’s This song never gets old
Me too Tanya, it’s like a time machine!
Every single note of this song touches my soul. Legends never age ♥️
I've always loved this song. It's a true classic.
How is this still soooooooo good? This song is heaven sent.
Nothing ever lasts forever... nothing but the 80's and songs like this one.
Thank you for sharing this classic rock song!
This is such a hard song to get right live, and shows the skills they all have. Brilliant performance by some seriously talented artists.
Absolutely! God I miss the 80's.
Agree
Absolutely right, I remember doing this round the club circuit in the 80's and it took forever to get the timings right, the guitar work is deceptively tricky too! Great song and they still sound good!
Why is it hard song to sing live, either you can sing or can’t sing
I definitely agree with you! Pure talent!👏😎👍
I was 38 years younger but I still get as misty eyed now as I did back then. The magic of awesome music. 🎵🎶🎵☺️
I don't think they know how much we appreciate them 🥹
Crazy how well they still are, always been a Fan.
80's Music is the Best.
I'm so glad I saw this, thank you it took me back and I'm living in that moment. You sound the same and I love that song.
It doesn't get any better than this people. Enjoy and keep enjoying....
The most amazing REAL music written and performed by talented real musicians. No autotune rubbish, no computer assistance. I was a teenager growing up in the 80s when this song (and all the others by TFF) came out and they just never grow old. Just so good to hear them now, 40 years on - still sounding just as good as ever!
Isnt the keyboard a synth they are using? Synths are used a lot today they just happen to be connected to a computer so basically nothing much has really changed.
That's right!...great...I was walking by East River, New York City
I'm pretty sure autotune and technology played a big part in this video. Did you see Curt play bass? no? Yet there was a bass line wasn't there.
This song is my favourite ever song absolutely amazing
@@71calex I believe the bass on EWTRTW was originally recorded using a synthesizer. As for the vocals on *this* performance, it’s quite possible that autotune was used.
Based on this classic timeless 80's hit alone, as well as Shout and others, I feel Tears for Fears eventually belongs in the Rock Hall of Fame. Let's make it happen!
Those melodies, harmonies, lyrics...magic!
How are they not!
@@p.t.4960 Exactly!
I agree totally. One of the best bands ever.
@@deanjacobs4278 ...... OX ???? ... beatles, stones, zeppelin, acdc, queen, eagles, rush, toto etc etc ... with all due respect sir but ...you don't know shit from shinola ....
It's kinda ridiculous they put rappers in the rock and roll hall of fame before they put these guys who let's be honest have more talent in their pinky toe than all the rappers in the world combined
Waooooo..los 80s lo mejor de toda la época..hermoso tema ,gracias por siempre. ❤
THEY SOUND GREAT,LOOK GREAT.THEY HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR ALL OF US!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎶🎶👍✌️😎BOB
They still know how to rock! Their voices have not changed at all with the years!!! This song is so perfect. 🤩
Their voices have definitely weakened with age. It's not quite the same OOMPH but don't get me wrong, great timings & still a great performance considering these things.
Wow how Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith have aged so fast. They still sound amazing, and so identical like the studio recording!
Roland in particular has had a very rough last few years. I'm so glad to see him looking well.
The nostalgia is real. Still sound amazing, glad to see y’all performing together again
STILL SOUNDS AS GOOD AS THE DAY IT WAS FIRST RELEASED!!!! MICHAEL...
Timeless song. I never get tired of hearing it.
Such a timeless classic! God I loved growing up in the 80s!
80s had the best diverse music!
Radio in the 80's was out of the world. And we listened to radio. There was no Apple Music or UA-cam around.
Such a relief isn't it!? I'm so glad i didn't miss it 👌
Still better than anything in the top 40 today ,that's crazy.
They still sound so good live. What a great song
