- Welcome to today's video where you saw the chimney repair.
A chimney or smoker is an essential part of every beekeeper. Just as a car won't run without gasoline, so too does the smoker with which the bees are smoked need fuel.
The most common type of smoke that is burned is trout, which lasts for 20 minutes and has a sweet smell and produces a lukewarm to cold smoke that does not harm the bees or the hive.
Then the beekeeper can take out the comb and put it in a device called a honeypot. Who beekeepers know that a honeypot is used to bottle honey? This invention was discovered 160 years ago.
Franz Von Hruschka changed the way to get the world's sweetest treat.
In the Lužánecké halls, in front of his colleagues, he spun a small conical container on a string, a honeycomb was placed on the wider part, and honey flowed from the bottom of the container while spinning. The beekeepers of the time did not know clear honey, because the combs were squeezed out and thereby destroyed.

Beautiful! I appreciate the care in restoration, as well as information for those who may be unfamiliar with the tool. I was unable to find my father's smoker after he passed away, so my uncle gave me his. I wouldn't want to clean or restore it, though, as I sometimes want to open and smell the smoky wood scraps, helping to bring back memories of my childhood.

Podrobného kuřáka měl můj děda na Vysočině. Jako měch používal kravskou kůži. Němí nad domácí med a když v medometu zbyly voštiny, mňam, to byla dobrota. Díky za návrat o 40let zpátky. Pavel

Your braver than me when it comes to bees. My oldest sister has a near fatal reaction to bee stings, so I have a 50/50 chance of being allergic myself, and I'm not inclined to find out the hardway.🐝🐝🐝

Замечательный действующий дымарь, пчелки в восторге! Прошу разьяснить одну фразу, озвученую Вероникой и переведенной в google, как "использовать форель в качестве топлива". Знаю, что у нас используют мох, навоз, трут, и грибы трутовики. Вероятно ошибка перевода, кто то в коментариях предложил вместо форели использовать другую рыбу...
