The ingredients are about the same we use to make what trinis call fry bake. I like this. We don't usually flatten the dough that thin, but I can see myself making it this way. It looks like it would go well with a bowl of chili. Thank you!
Omg I need this for sandwiches! Thanks so much! I was wondering about a quick and cheap way to make bread
Same
WELL! Take my mother to the market. I just tried this. Who would of believed you could make this simple bread from next to nothing. Just dipped in home made broth.
Bro it' works
I tried it and it's really good, the dough has some bite into it. We ate it with chicken curry. Will surely make this again.
What does some bite Into it means
As a terrible cooker, i was just thinking about something like this, thank you very much.
Did you try it?
My grandma had this recipe
like a few years back i think i really wanted to try this out!
And salt & sugar. Not just flour and water!
Perfect for leftover curry broth.Thnks for the recipes🤤
you’re welcome!
I'm a terrible cooker. Thank you so heckin' much ❤️
Its so easy way to cook that .., and fun 😂 when put the dough into the oil 😂..ANYWAY THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS RECIPES
you’re welcome ! happy you enjoyed it 😊
Bomb I shook them in a whole of sugar and came out tasting like my childhood memories 🙏🏽
I need to make this in the morning now i have something to cook for me and my husband i needed this
Ever since my youngest brother Jeremiah was born, I have always made dough balls out of flour and water. I always made him feel the dough balls. Since he was only a baby, he tried to eat them, but I told him that it wasn't for eating. As he got older, he understood that my dough balls weren't made for eating. He loved feeling them and said that they felt soft and sticky. He's 15 years old now and still loves feeling my dough balls that I make. If I gave him a dough ball, he will make a flatbread pizza out of it.
just all purpose flour, not self rising? For sure?
So it's basically native American fry bread
I never understand why people cook and bake with nail polished fingernails and jewelry? who knows what's under those fingernails and jewelry... The same goes for untied hair.
Fantastic
asmr bread making
yes ☺️ not only the breads are very tasty but the process of making them is so satisfying
ok
Cooking curry tonight so going to try these. Thank you 😊
hope you’ll like them! enjoy !
Kasia Cooking Beautiful, they all wanted more. Thank you so much for this.
🥰 I’m so happy to hear that!
Mmm. A little honey or sugar glaze and that would be a killer pastry
Looks good 👍🏾
Thank you for sharing..💕
your hands are very attractive with pink polish... very nice
:) thank you 😊
What..
I used water flour
Then I begged to fry it and now I'm currently getting everything ready
Will try never eaten this before.
Im going to put some delicious homemade jam on this
sooo good cooking im a big fan
thank you!
@@KasiaCooking No Problem :D
I like it ❤
Good 👍👌
Looks nice!
What happens if you just fry it? Like, not deep fried?
Please mention the type of oil you fry the dough in.
It's so cool how did you make it without baking it?
its fried in oil, it’s shown in the video :)
Lmao I laughed so hard
Gosh...
I am confusion
the title says flour and water, but the ingredients includes salt and sugar?
You don't need those, water and flour are all you need to make the bread, for flavour, use those.
Use common sense
Haha good enough for me though
@@neno3123Lol, no we will use your saliva for flavor
😂😂😂😂😂
Can you put measurements in cups? 1/2 cup 1/4 cup whatever ...
Come on it's 4 ingredients just add water sugar and salt, taste it and add flour until you get the dough
Now does this release a scent?
This is called puri or bature in India
In our country,its called pori
In my country it is called frog bread baked in peterolin fat
can you bake it instead ?
Which sugar and salt amount is correct? The video and the written amounts are different.
Only flour water and sugar
Yeah but the sugar can add taste, so sugar is optionql
The balloon was full of air lol
Which balloon has no air?😆
Amazing ty ty ty ❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Im going to try this recipe today. #Keepupthegreatwork ❤❤❤#Newsubhete
what makes it turn brown????? Only OIL makes that sound when you drop dough in it!!!!!
Thank you!!!
Is that self rising flour
no, just a regular all purpose flour
Can I eat it with chocolate
yes:) I think it will be very tasty this way
Looks like an oversized pancake
No insult just saying
Do u use baking powder?
No, there is no baking powder in this recipe
1/2 tsp salt and sugar or 1 tsp salt and sugar - which is it???
hi! I only now, when you asked me, noticed the mistake - it’s 1/2 tsp , sorry for that
masubukan nga tnx 4 sharing
newbie here
Looks like fry bake
the title of the video if false as there is salt and sugar in the recipe
What kind of flour was used? Ordinary or flour with baking powder?
just an ordinary flour
This is what we Indians call a 'poori' and having since centuries perhaps! Funny that you realized it now.
I didn’t know either how to make it. Funny that eh.
a lil different poori is made with just water but this one is with hot water.. but now i like both poori and this one..thx for the recipe
Not everyone knows 😒
So I made this just now, and only one of the 5 ballooned, did I possibly make them too thick? I'll try thinner next time
I made these. Mine blew up but not like the ones in the video. I think mine was to thick also
@@marksinclair846 yes I remade them thinner and it worked
@@thedutchest ahh ok I'll try that next time. Thanks 😇
Can I do this without the sugar or no?
yes, you can
This is called Poori in India..
A very common bread in India
RECIPE SAYS ONLY... ONLY FLOUR WATER.... SO SICK OF THESES VIDEOS ADDING MORE..... I WANT A SHTF RECIPE..... STOP SAYING ONLY FLOUR WATER, THEN ADD SALT SUGAR AND OTHER VIDEOS MORE STUFF...BIG THUMBS DOWN.....
these are called sopapillas.
What does it taste like?
Looks like more than flour and water to me
LMFAOO that’s bake
No
*Uh, no. You don’t BAKE on the stovetop in oil. That’s FRYing.*
@@agirlhasnoname7602She means that it is called "bake" or "bakes" in some countries, not that the cooking process was baking.
can i use rice flour???
did you just tell me to mix hot water
I added cinnamon
NOT WHAT THE TITLE SAYS. YOU NEED OIL TO MAKE THIS. NOT 5 SECONDS IN AND YOUR LIENG.
This is ti puri
So we're all poor and don't have money for an actual bread?
That is puri from India🤷🏻♀️ our Indian dish! Not any flat bread🤷🏻♀️ in which world bread is made by frying in oil?!🤷🏻♀️ misleading the viewers by fake captions! And i repeat it again! It's "puri"! Got it?!🤷🏻♀️
only flour and water yet the second ingredient is sugar lol
I'm sure that's optional
If they didn't add salt, it will taste plain, probably disgusting🤣
This is a famous dish called poori
Plain flour, right?
yes :)
except you used oil…
That's indian puri
I didn’t know that, it’s so good:)
@@KasiaCooking 😊
Can i make a dough like pancakes made of water flour and oil only and cook on a pan? Is that consumable?
What flour?
I forgot i have no oil
It is a Indian food , called LUCHI or PURI....love from India
It's not Indian food. All cultures have a version of this.
lots of oil, though
I don't have oil!! 🤬
👀...👍🔥😎🔥👍
Its Poori...
and salt and sugar lol come on people why do all of videos lie so sick of click bait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only flour and water... And sugar... And salt... And oil...
if ur making bread u probably have all of those items... do they need to include stove stop too?
@@chives9998 Your assumption that I have those ingredients is incorrect, and there's no need to play dumb mentioning the need for a stove. I had flour and water, so I clicked on this video to try making it, but I didn't have sugar or oil, so I couldn't.
Not all breads include those sugar, salt, and oil in the ingredients. As it stands, the video title is clickbait.
@@cvdinjapan7935 ok
Could there be self-rising flour in the mixture?
@@cvdinjapan7935 dude how in tf would you think you can make a low quality stovetop bread with no baking , without the use of oil though 🤔???
To grown to be that naive.....ijs practically any form of cooking and or baking requires the use of cooking oil, smh
Ini ms psngsit
Swells like the national debt!
False advertising.
I think I have a woman hand fetiish!😮
Oil! Ahhhhh
🥺 that's not swollen bread 😔 it's called poori pronounced puri
People are still discovering these things?
When you fry flour dough in oil it's called poori, when you simply cook in flat pan without oil it's called roti/chapati, add oil to that chapati it's simple Paratha... Different types of dough and stuffing makes different types of recipes in India... It's always there
and when you make it in Mexico its called a tortilla...all cultures have fry bread of some sort , its not "from India" this is just one version of the very same thing
You are assuming as if India created this basic recipe for bread. Like come on
🥴😂😂😂😂🤣
Don’t you talk ?
These people getting subscribers by making food from India and passing it as their new invention. How low can you go?
You sure don't know how to produce a video correctly. You said only flour and water is used. You failed to mention salt, sugar and oil.
Its disturbing that so many Indian posters thinks they created this recipe. Many cultures do this, stop with the arrogance. Its off putting
Bomb I shook them in a whole of sugar and came out tasting like my childhood memories 🙏🏽
