@@mariad3011 It's a dress! I got it over ten years ago so I couldn't even tell you. It was from a random store at the mall. I bought it to wear to a wedding. It's such a pretty dress isn't it?
Love the term look better, not look younger! I am 68 years old and can honestly say I look better now than I did 20 years ago. Yes, I have a few more wrinkles, but I’m just more comfortable in my own skin. I also take much better care of my skin now than I did when I was younger. Thanks for all you do on your channel!
Yes I LOVE THAT! Being comfortable in your own skin leads to a quiet confidence that is incredibly attractive. I am so happy that you are experiencing this.
I put avocado oil on my ends of my hair after my blowout (I do it myself too) and in the morning my hair looks so super healthy and not oily. I was amazed. Just thought I'd share with you and the ladies ❤
I couldn’t agree with you more about the Lador Thermal Spray. I have fine thin hair and it never feels like I have product on my hair while holding my style. It’s awesome.
Girl, BLOWOUT BRUSH changed my life. As I'm aging my hands "don't work" like they used to. Changed my hair game! You were the one who gave me the guts to give it a try :) So glad I did!
“Better not younger”. What a great campaign. The message alone sold me, I’ll check them out. Thanks for promoting such positivity. OH and I’m a City Lips gal too. Love, love, love this product! All the shades are great… but definitively recommend grabbing the clear. That can be used with anything!
Thank you so much for talking about the color science three in one eye treatment. Nobody has ever spoken about it that I can remember. I did see Lisa J use it once in a get ready with me, but I don’t even think she mentioned it. It is the only thing that I can use under my 75-year-old eyes. No matter what concealer I use it’s useless. This is a superior product that does more than just color, correct and conceal. I must say that that dress or top you’re wearing is stunning.
Yes it's an AMAZING product! I just learned about it and got it and my mind was blown! I can't believe that no one talks about this. Thanks for watching and commenting Linda. I appreciate it.
You are so right Gab! I want to look better not younger! I wear the signs of my aging as a badge for all the strides that I’ve been through in life both good and bad and somewhat in between! Looking good is something I strive for now! Thank you so much my beautiful friend, for this very helpful and informative video! I really enjoyed every minute of it! ✨🥰✨
YOU & your honesty are so incredibly refreshing ... my opinion is that you're easy to love .. I'm one of your 50+ ladies, and a fellow Ontario-ian, and I am so very VERY glad/happy/delighted,etc, that I 'found' you ~ 🎉💕🍷🎉💐
Thank you Gabi for all that you do...the second time I watched one of your videos you mentioned blow drying for people with mobility issues. That was it! I’m a subscriber now...Gabi thank for truly caring so much about others.🥰j
I turned 68 yesterday & have been using City Lips gloss for about six years now. I have a very thin upper lip & smoker's creases on top of that. I can not only see how much fuller my lips are, I can feel it. Really like all of the products you talked about today...thanks. 🥰
The color science under eye is THE ANSWER to my 59 year old eyes. I get color correction, concealer, and SPF in one product that doesn’t sit in fine lines. Thank you for bringing it to a new group of wonderful ladies!
Thank you for another great video Gabi. You look incredible regardless of perhaps not feeling 100% right now. I have been struggling with this "look younger" culture lately. When is it going to be OK to look your age? I really appreciate the comments from others below who are biting back on this obsessiveness also. ❤
Thank you so…………much!!!!!!!!!! You are so personal, so helpful, so professional, so informative and you make beauty fun. I am 63 and I am so appreciative that you have a wide variety of topics and you address looking beautiful even as we age!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is blowing out your hair vs flat ironing everyday less damaging? I have very frizzy hair but my hair is highlighted too and damaged from too much flat ironing. Thanks for all of your advice.😊 I'm going to try the Loreal & Elf products ASAP! BTW you look super young & beautiful as always. You're blessed with model looking features.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I hate outros because they are pointless and drag out so I have nothing left to say except: THIS VIDEO IS OVER! hahahaha!
I’m 49 and never knew about the blow out brush until I saw one of your videos a few weeks ago. I bought one and OMG my hair has never looked better. I have thick, frizzy, wavy hair. All the anti frizz products did nothing, I was never able to get my hair smooth. Now it looks like I just left the salon and it’s so easy. I’ve tried the round brush w dryer but just can’t do it with my arthritis and fibromyalgia. I wish I knew about this tool 25 years ago!
Love the City Beauty Lip products, as a 69 year old woman with small lips , dry from an outdoor lifestyle filled with smiles, the products feel amazing and look even better!
Ok but I'm 57 and I started watching/loving your vids because they r smart. U show great techniques in a clear and professional way, cover pros/cons of products clearly and r entertaining wo being lengthy or annoying. That may b a big part of why u appeal to an older audience, rather than the whole "younger" thing. We know we can't b younger but we'd still like to know how to look our best.
I hear you about foundation not looking great anymore as we age. I have had to change my foundations to something more sheer and thin if I don't. It completely accentuates my lines and wrinkles!! I am 58. 😊
I saw an earlier video where you recommended the L’Oréal Age Perfect foundation. I tried it and love it! I bought a high end brand that I had been using but it was too drying…this is all that you say it is! I let my friend know about it today…what an economical, great foundation!
Gabi, have you tried the NARS Light Reflecting foundation? It works great on my mature skin. My skin has become drier as I’ve aged. This foundation lasts for about 8-10 hours on me and it leaves my skin glowing. ULTA has a $10 off coupon right now for prestige cosmetics. It’s a good time to try this foundation ❤
I have never tried that one but I have a BUNCH of Nars products in my kit and it is super amazing. I have to try that foundation! Would it work on oilier skin types as well?
I am using nearly all of the products mentioned here. They really are great! Thanks Gabi! (Though...BNY needs to put "Shampoo" and "Conditioner" in larger print on their bottles as I cannot read them in the shower without reading glasses. LOL! 👓
Much appreciated info. for us older ladies. I once had my makeup done at Ulta by a young lady who didn’t understand the needs of mature skin. The make accentuated every line and wrinkle. I went home and washed it off!
Yes...it can be such a struggle sometimes. I just did makeup for a mature audience and she asked me "is it hard to do makeup on my face?" and I answered by saying "it's not hard at all! It's just different". The application method is different and a lot of people don't spend the time learning how to do it well.
Thank you so much for creating such a comprehensive list of products. And more importantly, affordable and available in the UK. I've just turned 40 and rarely wear make up so want sure where to start. You have enlightened me.
I also forgot to mention that the Danessa Myricks blurring balm is the best I've ever bought for my face it can be used with or without makeup. I bought a medium color it like completely erases your wrinkles. I love it. Maybe you should do a video on that DM blurring balm. Good luck
I love that ELF HD Powder! I also love the Wet N Wild Photofocus loose powder! Both are so finely milled & make skin look flawless! Great video! I love your channel!
The City Lips plumper is really, really great. When my lips got really dehydrated over the winter, that was the only thing I could put on them...everything else made them get drier and flake! I'll be looking into the heat protection spray you recommend. But what did you have your hair in while doing your makeup application? It didn't look to be cotton or microfiber. Was it satin? Does it actually blot the dampness after washing?? I'm always looking to protect my hair when it's wet... Another great video- thank you!!
I've used the It cosmetics illumination CC cream and the Loreal age perfect foundations. Everything you said is spot on. For me, the It cosmetics does provide better coverage on one application.
I am ordering the plumping lip gloss now, thanks for the discount! Great products, really love the Better Not Younger line, beautiful products. Thanks Gabi!!!
Try the plumping gloss! It's awesome. I really love it. It also comes clear, glossy colours and even Matte colours. My favourites are the glossy colours.
I am 57 and have wrinkles and redness. I can never figure out what makeup colors to use. I don't know how to find the right foundation color. I have dark circles and don't know how to really conceal them- pink or yellow? I don't know how to figure out brow color and I don't have great brows. My blush doesn't really stay on. I did see that you said to use a cream and then a powder. I don't know how to figure out what colors of both. Sure wish I had someone like you to help me figure all the colors and techniques out. Thank you for the videos. I do try the products and techniques you share.
Excellent video!! I plan on trying a few of these products. Off topic question, Gabi: about the diamond stud in your nose (which I love, by the way), how do you keep it clean when you use products such as foundation, powder and such?
Hi Gabi, I love your content! I came across your videos because I have thin/fine hair, and I am always seeking tips to help this look fuller even though I have been thinking of getting a pixie because my shedding is out of control. However, I would like for you to make a video on how to use to contour pencils you referenced video, I am a very natural looking makeup, but I do have double chin, and I will love to learn how to camouflage it, Lol. Thanks!
I recently discovered your channel.......I'm happy that I'm already using 3 of these products; the L'Oreal age perfect serum foundation and the concealer & the City Beauty Plumping lip gloss. Through trial and error, I like the L"Oreal the best. Even though I have dry skin at age 66, the IT cc cream was too dewy. Thanks for a great video!
Hey Sharon! I am so happy to gave you here as apart of my community! I love ItCosmetics but I feel the same way about it. On some people it's great but if you have any oil what so ever (or a bit of texture on the skin), it can just feel like too much.
Personally I don't find anything wrong with the words 'looking younger' because who wants to look older? Just my opinion 😊Thanks for sharing some of the products today, I am looking forward to trying out some you of the ones you mentioned. 💕

Great Video ,I am your older fan & want to say I have almost all of your recommendations!! Yay I honestly just bought the colors Cienega 3 in 1 total eye ( my3rd one😊 which I never reorder) it's so good I only use a dab of it,I think alot of your viewers would like it + spf35 .You look beautiful as always I love your longer length hair, plus even the curly wave in it❤
Great video Gabi!!!! Can you tell me which color of the L’Oréal foundation and under eye concealer you used? We have the same skin tone and I always have trouble buying the correct color. Thanks ❤
Love your videos... new subscriber!!! Any suggestions for puffiness for the under eyes? Sometimes I wonder if it's fat because I never had puffiness when I was younger. I'm 63 for reference!😊
Wonderful information Gabi , I will definitely be buying the dryer brush. I have a lot of hair but it’s very fine and naturally curly & of course I don’t like it so I blow dry it straight everyday. Thanks for the great video 😘
Love this video, Gabi! I’m already using a few of these products, and now I have others I need to check out :) my skin is SO dry 😭 love IT cosmetics CC + illumination cream, but will try the Lorel one you mentioned. Does it have an spf? Also, you look stunning in this vid but then you always do! I absolutely love your makeup and what you’re wearing 😍
Pl make a detailed curly wavy hair routine and products like shea moisture or curlssmith or briogio...just want to educated by your suggestions and start with wavy hair journey 😀😊❤
I do love clear city lips. Bought as Xmas gift to myself:) I don't love the price though. Thanks for all the recommendations. I'll be checking some out.
I wish there was a cheaper alternative to the Color Science 3 in 1. Even with your code, it's beyond my means. Great video. I've thought about getting the Tymo. I have pretty short hair. Hoping it will work for me!! Thanks, Gabi!!
I’m with you, cruelty-free is a HUGE deal for me!!! There’s no reason why it’s acceptable to put animals through HORRIBLE testing anymore, so if a product isn’t cruelty-free, you can forget it 🤍🤍🤍
I looked up which companies test on animals. L'Oreal states it does NOT test on animals. Before saying negative things about any company, please get your facts straight!! It's easy to research these things, so look it up. You may be surprised at which companies do or do not test on animals.
Your dress looks very pretty! 😍 Cool video! I noticed you were using the new Make Up For Ever powder foundation as a mirror throughout this video, have you tried it? If so, what are your thoughts? I picked it up recently, and I really love it! I used to use the Studio Fix Powder Foundation from MAC, but I switched to this one, it’s so good! I feel it makes my skin look better compared to the MAC foundation. I’m almost 40 for reference 😉

Another awesome video!!! Thank you!🩷
Thanks for the video. Love that ur being honest!
Lange has a great blow out brush in interchangable size heads and they are good quality and have super deals all the time.
Thanks for the tip! I adore Blowout brushes. I haven’t tried Lange before but it sounds like it could be an awesome option.
Not sure how I found you, binging on your over 50+ thank you!!
Try the TYMO blow out brush. It is an absolute GAME CHANGER for me. It makes my hair look absolutely incredible.
@@GlamGirlGabi thank you, I will.
Love the LaDor products. Fantastic.
They are SUCH beautiful products! I adore them too!
Love this video! I always love your suggestions
Thank You
PS I got a brush dryer last week and Love, love, love it!
Such wonderful information and so generous of you to share it all. Thanks!
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
It is SO NICE isn't it? It is expensive but man it's a gorgeous lipgloss.
Another great video, can you show us how to use makeup to really minimise
Jowles? I have suddenly got them at 62! Xxx
i like your dining chairs! LOL
I wish there was a cheaper alternative to the Color Science 3 in 1. Even with your code, it's beyond my means. Great video. I've thought about getting the Tymo. I have pretty short hair. Hoping it will work for me!! Thanks, Gabi!!
I'm so sorry I couldn't provide a more affordable option for that product. I can't really think of anything that could compare to that one.
Try the Supergoop under eye SPF. It is also pigmented, and hydrating. Much more affordable!
Procter & Gamble AND L'Oreal (which I USE TO use) test on animals 😢😿 All these products sound great. I hope some of them are cruelty free 🤞
People need to see what they actually put those poor animals through! They would probably never buy L’Oreal again!
I agree 100% …..disgusting to say the least 😢
I’m with you, cruelty-free is a HUGE deal for me!!! There’s no reason why it’s acceptable to put animals through HORRIBLE testing anymore, so if a product isn’t cruelty-free, you can forget it 🤍🤍🤍
I looked up which companies test on animals. L'Oreal states it does NOT test on animals. Before saying negative things about any company, please get your facts straight!! It's easy to research these things, so look it up. You may be surprised at which companies do or do not test on animals.
Boycott any beauty products that test on animals . Its 2023 come on girls plenty of great beauty products out there that do not test on animals .
*adore you plumping only 1-side of your lips … must get this next ! 🤩
Love this video!
Thank you. I totally agree about the message. Personally, I do not want to look 20, I want to look 56 who is aging better
I love how you're cover all ages 🎉
You look amazing! So pretty!!!
Love your channel you are so honest and real.
Can you tell me what is the towel in your hair and put the link if can ❤
Your makeup is gorgeous here! Is there a tutorial for this look?
Hi, loved the City Lips gloss - what the color name? Looked great on you! ❤
GHD heat protector spray is really good! You can’t feel it in your hair. It’s great for fine hair, which I have.
So Good, thanks Gabi!!
I got that blowout brush at you recommendation . It is so easy and makes my long hair smooth. A great buy
