Il Makiage matches you and let’s you try before you buy for two weeks. I will tell you it’s affordable- EVERYONE should have their concealer- no settling, pilling, super coverage. There’s nothing I have ever found like it. And I’ve tried them all. It’s only online, but they are excellent at matching.
I use my glow screen, with my Loreal true match NUDE, mixed together on the back of my hand, then dot on, and pounce and bounce with my blender sponge, and a very light dusting of Cover Girl ageless blurring pressed powder. I'm 59+
@@tammywade3649you shouldn’t mix your sunscreen with anything else. You will get less and uneven protection and affect its ability to work the way it’s supposed to. You also most likely are using nowhere near enough sunscreen which should be around 1/4 teaspoon for your face to get the stated protection, give or take depending on the size of your face. Apply your sunscreen first, let it set, and if you need to dilute your foundation do it with something else.
Amen ! Effort and being your best self is so important for feeling great ❤ MY MOM TAUGHT ME ITS BETTER TO BE OVER DRESSED THAN UNDER DRESSED ! I’m 48 a homeschool mom ( cosmetologist) and I wear what I LOVE and wear make up and pretty hair every day. I feel great and the yoga pant Moms always compliment me and I think I inspire them 😊 Don’t let your beautiful clothes just sit in the closet - Rock them and have fun, life is too short ! Love this new series, you’re the best ❤
Please do the whole series! What an awesome idea. Also thank you so much for spotlighting mature people - women older than 35 are almost invisible in society, yet they are the ones who spend the most money on hair and makeup.
Hi, Gabi - I recently have been watching your videos. I enjoyed this format very much. I think what mature women mean by “trying too hard” is we don’t want to look like we are trying to look like someone half our age with makeup, clothes, hair; we want to enhance our look while feeling a best version of our maturing self. There’s confidence and beauty in that. ❤
Gabi, I totally agree with you, there is absolutely nothing the matter with trying to look nice. I feel so much better when I go somewhere and look nice. So many people just don't care how they look when they leave the house these days. Well quite frankly I never wanted to do something everyone else is doing, I am 68 yrs. old and I still like being noticed because I am making an EFFORT on my appearance. I may not feel that way in the future, but for right now I still do and I am going to keep watching your videos for these excellent tips. Thank you for being here.
A natural beauty co-worker said to me, " you know how your husband tells you every morning how beautiful you are?" I commented that my husband rarely tells me I'm beautiful. She replied with pity in her voice, " and you work so hard at it!" 😂. Not sure that was a compliment, but I'll keep working at it!
I believe making a little effort in our appearance and taking good care of ourselves (not necessarily a full face of makeup every day) is also a form of respect to other people. It also depends on the occasion, for example if I only have to go grab some groceries I will not spend as much time getting ready as if I had to go out for dinner, but still I try to avoid looking frumpy, sometimes it really does not take much. For a job interview, even on zoom, I like to put on a little makeup and look at least presentable and professional. It just means that you care enough. This obviously does not apply to people who have legitimate reasons to be unable to groom themselves (depression, disabilities or any other difficult circumstances) but most people are just lazy.
I'm 66 and of course our era was all about making an effort and not looking frumpy. We wouldn't be caught dead going out in public with hair curlers, slippers, and PJs. Proper undergarments were expected. I mean, we had hygiene classes in high school about how to dress, take care of our nails, do our hair, etc etc. These days, who knows what's being taught? It was considered self-respect and respect for the senses of others, who have to look at us. I mean, if someone wants to look like a schlub, that's their lookout, but then they shouldn't expect any respect!!
I absolutely LOVE this channel! As a “mature” but young 68 year old, I’m always looking for makeup tips. I have the things you mentioned that make mature skin look older - age spots, dry patches and some redness. I already use the L’Oreal foundation but will be going to Sephora to get some of the other products you mentioned including the Supergoop sunscreen. Thanks for always looking out for us older ladies!
Funny. I just went to Sephora a couple weeks ago, to use up some points etc and ended up getting a small tube of Supergoop. I have used it in the past, but I think it was a sample or something. It was fantastic but full size was expensive so I decided against it. I've come around to realising it's worth the expense. I've also got the L'Oreal serum foundation, and I use the primer that goes with it; it's really nice! One thing I haven't tried is the Estee Lauder foundation, but so many people seem to swear by it, that I think I'll need to give it a try....!!!
@@johannaholmgren8088 I bought the Estée Lauder foundation (I currently wear the L’Oreal foundation that Gabi recommends). I wore the Estée Lauder yesterday and omg, it is the best! I applied it around 9 yesterday morning and wore it for over 12 hours and it still looked fantastic on my skin! No settling in lines, no oxidation, etc. I understand now why every one loves it!
Love your comment, "When did trying become a bad thing?" I have loved makeup, since I was a young teen! At 67, I still want to look my best, so from tinted sunscreen on, I love trying different makeup products and applications! Enjoy your videos, Gabi!
at age 68 I still have areas of very oily skin on my face. The T-zone most especially. I use a modifying primer along with a matte foundation. Otherwise I look like an oil slick. There are many other ways to give your skin a glow, that don’t include using a glowy primer or a glowy foundation! Everyone’s skin is unique and different to them.
Gabi, I really appreciate all your tips on mature skin makeup (and application) and the explanations behind them. I would love for you to continue the series! One thing that I would personally find helpful is a video on all the different makeup brushes to use for the various applications. There are SO many shapes and textures out there and with varying associated costs. I honestly get overwhelmed trying to figure out which types I need and for what purpose. I also feel like there surely must be a particular brand or two that are reasonably priced that would work just as well as the higher priced ones. I just don’t know which that would be. So, a video on this would be very helpful ❤
Yes do a series of “this and not that”! I know that everyone has different skin and hair, but it’s still good to know what you think is good and what isn’t, and why.
Yes, more content like this please! I used to have very oily skin but now I have to adjust to drier skin as I age and living in a low humidity climate. The struggle is real 😂
Love this series and wish I had seen it before investing in the Dior Forever Matte foundation that other UA-camrs swore was great for mature skin and prevented creasing! Grrrr. The Cool Rosy shade actually has a yellow undertone, neither cool nor rosy! Your comment was brilliant … I keep running into friends (early 70s) who have grown out long, stringy hair, quit coloring it, and dress like little gray mice. It’s almost like they are trying to be invisible. Meanwhile, I have blonde hair with highlights and lowlights and gravitate towards Fuschia pinks, teal blues, etc. with white jeans for summer. I have thought “am I trying to hard”, then think “Nah, I love what I’m wearing”! I also love the incredibly gorgeous eyes on your client! Wow!! Can you recreate that look for us?
Oil of Olay total effects 7 is excellent! I’ve been using it since I was 28! I’m 44 now. It’s a SPF 30 with moisturizer. I use it all the time before I put my makeup on. It works! I’m the proof. ❤
I think a common mistake many mature women make is using a heavy hand with their makeup. Hence the concern of “trying too hard”. I encourage my fellow mature women, use all the products but start out light and easy. You can always add more as needed. Anyway, it’s an important I’ve learned over time - so many thanks for your kind and helpful guidance
I am 70 in a few weeks, so you know why I clicked on your post so quickly! I agree about the Estée Lauder doublewear foundation- it’s the best I have ever used!
Love this video, Gabi! Please do more-- your honesty is so refreshing. So many content creators are sponsored or sent products so it's hard to decipher what is really good or what is just being "sold."
Hmmm. Trying too hard…as a 68 year old woman, this phrase implies I could appear to be unaccepting of my age and am driven to look young. Nothing to do with effort really. We all want to be accepted and feel relevant EXACTLY as we are. Trying too hard also means (to me) the fear of not getting it right (looking overdone) and being judged for it. Unfortunately there’s still a lot of ageism out there. I applaud you Gabi for helping us navigate the complicated makeup and hair space. 🙏🏻 I don’t want to look young, I want to look my own, personal best now and as I continue the adventure.
Hello! You are awesome, thank you for your advice. To answer your question, I’m 57 and have friends who are definitely “trying too hard”, what this means to me is that they are trying to go back in time and try to be 25 again rather than accept their beauty at their age and let it shine. They do makeup that is silly, terrribly long lashes, glitter, too much eye liner that ultimately backfires and makes them look desperate. Your advice is what they need. some how they believe if they repeat what worked at 25 it’ll succeed. Their role models are not skin appropriate. Trying to hard means not accepting the fact of your age- and bringing out the best but rather, trying to copy teenagers to look like them. thank soooo much for your tips!
I love that you went from drugstore to high end, because not all of us can afford the high-end. I really do you want you to do a full makeover on a woman over 60. Woman deserve to feel beautiful at any age thank you for sharing your knowledge, and not being guarded with it.
Love this series and would really enjoy seeing more like this. A comment below stated," I think what mature women mean by “trying too hard” is we don’t want to look like we are trying to look like someone half our age with makeup, clothes, hair; we want to enhance our look while feeling a best version of our maturing self. " That is what I mean when I think of the statement, "trying too hard". It's not a negative comment about putting any effort into ones appearance. It's about looking youthful at the age you currently are and not trying to be what you aren't. That to me shows confidence and not insecurity.
I love the idea of this series ! It's like having you in a personal consultation 😂. I would love it if you could do one on cruelty free products if a product tests on animals, I don't care how I look in it I'm not buying it ! It seems like people are leaning more into eco sustainable products, and I'm here for it ! Thank you for all you do I love your videos ❤ 😊
Fair trade is so important too. If we can protect animals (which we should!) we should protect each other too. Who is making our makeup and fashion items? If there's an incredible price, somebody pays💜
judy9165...Cruelty-Free Kitty has an AMAZING website dedicated to Cruelty-Free beauty products. The founder has done a prestigious job in her research & publishing SO much helpful information for those looking for Cruelty-Free brands, even sustainable sourced or environmentally responsible. Even their monthly subscription box, now called Better Beauty box, is really great & the 1st subscription box where I actually received full sized products that I actually had use for the entire box. I'm confident you will find the information about brands you are looking for...and so much more!
Love this channel!! I just turned 74 and wear pretty full makeup every day and I love it. It's fun and gives me some confidence and I look forward to "trying" new techniques and products. I think the negativity comes from others thinking it's ego related or selfishly spending too much time on yourself. I did try the Double Wear but found it too much - love the comment to mix it with HA or oil. Thanks for the suggestions Gabi!!
I tried the Estee Lauder futurist hydra rescue moisture makeup spf 45: and I love it. Medium coverage, satin to radiant finish depending on if I got carried away with application. A bit pricey but it goes on sale.
Hello I'm 72 years old I don't really like using Foundation but I love your don't use this or that videos they're so helpful please continue doing these videos for us God bless you have a wonderful day💜
I would love to see more videos like this! After trying so many high end foundations, I finally tried the Loreal Age Perfect and love it! Would love to see a video on concealers and color correctors.
Great reminders Gabi! Just a cool fyi: Trader Joe’s has and incredible dupe for the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen for a fraction of the price! I can’t live without it now! 😃
I have been switching all my products to vegan and cruelty free. It has been a challenge to find the right foundation. Most of your viewers may not have the same concerns. I would love to see a video with all cruelty free products. Love all your advice. 💗
All great tips. Sunscreen is a girl's best friend at any age. I am 64 and embrace it. When dressing or thinking able make-up, my best examples are Helen Mirren or Audrey Hepburn.
Great tips! There are some of 50+ ladies out here that have oily skin and/or live in humid climates where dry skin is not an issue. It would be wonderful if you could help us. There are not many videos addressing that.
I agree!! I’m 60 and I am still super oily. 😢 I’m having trouble with makeup settling into my fine laugh lines. I need to know what to do to help absorb the oil and stop the settling. Gabi, Please help!!
It's trying and failing that we want to avoid. Many of us have worked really hard to look good and then caught sight of ourselves in the mirror and been humiliated at how we look. At that point it's tempting to give up and just resign ourselves to looking frumpy. It's to overcome that discouraging failure that I am watching your channel. Putting on makeup is FUN when we follow these great tips and rediscover the magic good makeup application and correct products can perform.
I really needed to hear not to use the mattifying foundations, it's just a go to thing to look for as someone who dealt with oily skin until I moved out west. Love this format! Have a great weekend!
Thank you, I am 57 year old with olive skin, your tips has really shed light into My make up products, I Will toss them away and get the ones You recommend. Keep up with the tips
I’m 54, and I tried a shimmer sunscreen. It made me look like absolute SH!T. 😂 I’d highly recommend that anyone with lines in their face proceed with caution, and not spend a fortune trying one out. Thanks for doing the over 50 videos, I really enjoy your content, and your relatability. ☮️💖🙏
I have textured skin and the glow products high light those areas which I dislike. So I agree with you regarding lines. I would probably just use a satin product only in spots that I don’t have lines or texture. But those areas need to Matte for me.
Yes my love the more tips the better for mature women... especially because we have more difficult issues that sometimes I just feel like I can only wear mascara.... so annoying if you want to look your best self!
Gabi….you are a life saver! I purchased the sunscreen and the L’Oréal foundation. I put all on and was shocked to the core of the enormous change/benefits! I had been using the Dior foundation. But for me, the other products you suggested have me looking younger and amazingly better. Thank you, thank you!
Thank you for the great tips! I just came across your channel. I'm 53 with 6 kids ages 8-17. I've always loved makeup! My 2 girls are 8. One looked like Alice Cooper when she plays in makeup. While the other is a future makeup artist. I don't understand the "trying too hard" comment 🤷♀️ It's called putting your best foot forward and presenting your amazing self to the world. I've used Clinique's City 50 Block Sunscreen since I was 40. I didn't use Sunscreen when I was pregnant so I had horrible Hyperpigmentation. After going through very painful Lazer treatments I never go without Sunscreen on my face. I love Glowish face primer by Huda beauty. For foundation I like Estee Lauder's Double Wear and Huas Lab Born This Way Foundation. Thank you again for wonderful tips!

Thank you so much for this video it's so helpful I love that some of the products are cruelty free TULA & Supergoop 💚 I put them in my Amazon cart to try. 🌸
Hi Gabi!!! First, I have to say “You’re AMAZING!!” I love all the subjects you discuss and have tired. I also respect your reviews. You got me on the sunscreen Supergoop, Glow Screen. I do use a foundation practically everyday. ( Nars light reflecting, and Clinique (Even Better makeup evens and corrects). Both are nice. The Estée Lauder I did have but the color was a bit too warm… so I pitch it!!!! Ugh 😑…. Noe I’m not sure what color it was and also not sure what color to re order. I remember that it was a beautiful finish to it, but as I said looked kinda orange. I always wanted to be a hairdresser, but my dad said, “No, you’re going to college.” I missed out on my dream but I’m all about “Taking care of my hair and makeup.” To me, there’s no such thing as trying to hard. You have to take the time out to look as good as you can. (My opinion) If others judge, (they have…😂) you can’t let it bother you. I go on at 56 years of age changing my makeup as my skin changed too. I’m happy to say I enjoy ALL of your videos…. I’m a huge makeup and hair junkie… so I’ll tell ya I just bought that Tymo hairdryer you had mentioned. Ha ha!!! It’s really sweet as it’s light weight compared to my Elchim 3900 healthy ionic in pink. 🩷😁 Thank you for your time and videos. You do an incredible job reaching out as if we were friends. Enjoy the upcoming holiday beautiful!!! 🙏🏻🇺🇸💙♥️🫶🏻
Man, 49, sunblock everyday for 30 years. No one believes me when I tell them my age. My skin age was analysed by an A.I. And it gives me 39 years old. I use the La Roche Posey sun block. I use the mattfying je but I may change it for the sheer. Thanks for the tip.
I appreciate you addressing the issue of " trying too hard" and the negativity it stems from. It seems some people are just not comfortable with an older woman actively trying to be the best she can NOW. Thank you.
Thank you! Yes, please do more of these videos. I’m 53 and have always had very oily skin. It seems like my skin has turned on me in the past year. It’s no longer oily and I don’t know what to do. This new line of videos would be wonderful for someone like me.
Great video! It is very helpful to know the terms on products that can help you decide what will be best and what to avoid. I started using the Loreal foundation last year, and it is fantastic! I just turned 50, and I have very dry skin. This foundation is wonderful for me! I love your positive and helpful videos! Keep it up!
What a nice way to start my day! Sending a grateful cyber hug from Southern California. You have helped me look so much better and more confident at 60. Please keep these videos coming.
Love your positivity about makeup and aging! The “this, not that” was awesome. Please make some more of those! I’m 64, and have a lot of “being in high school in the 70’s” wrinkles! What do you think is an under eye concealer that actually doesn’t sink into EVERY crease? Thanks for all your videos. They’re great and informative!
I’ll make more videos for you!! I’m going to go on a hunt for the very best concealer ever. I am still working my way through some to see what’s best. Stay tuned for that!
Yess, I'd love to see more 'This and not That". Like one of your commenters already said, it it's like having a personal consultation. Also, this video was really helpful in comparing the two foundations - that was exactly what I wanted to know!
I am new to watching you. I am 57 and I am surprised at how much I have learned from you! I'm amazed at how you care, understand, and have researched so much about mature women's makeup products and applications. Honestly when I first came across your channel I thought, oh she's not going to be able to understand what I'm struggling with, since I have aged, she is too young! I was pleasantly surprised!! I wish I could have you do my makeup. I saw your video about the negative comments and criticism you creators get and the toll it takes on you and I was heartbroken. All the while doing FREE content just to try to make us feel more beautiful......mean people suck!! LOL I'm so sorry about the loss of your wonderful grandparents too, that is so difficult. Thank you for doing what you do and for sharing such helpful and amazing tips!! I appreciate you girl! Have a wonderful day!
I don’t understand why anyone would watch your channel OR any other channel that has similar content if they’re not interested in how they can look and feel their best? Just watch something else, it’s that simple. I just turned 60 and people usually think I’m in my 40’s and I think it’s because I put effort into my appearance - which also includes how I take care of myself physically, emotionally and intellectually. I don’t wear makeup everyday, but when I do, I enjoy the process and channels like this, help me stay up to date and provide great information. Thank you, Gabi for all the great content! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I absolutely love these videos, I am 62, very fortunate to have always had good skin, however I do now have some age/menopause related issues and spent a fortune on products that do nothing, this is so helpful, thank you so much
I'm loving this new series! It's extremely informative. I am a mature woman who only uses Este Lauder Double Ware ....when I want a lighter coverage I mix it with HA Acid, about half and half, it works fabulously, and doesn't affect the foundation at all. Much love from Texas ❤
This is AMAZING advice Janice! Thank you for leaving this comment. Isn't it the most beautiful foundation you have ever used? I actually just bought it because the beauty boutique advisor told me it's phenomenal and I needed something bullet-proof for events and the first time I used it, my jaw dropped to the floor. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Ever since then, I've used it on literally every client I have had and every single person looks at their face in the mirror after and says "WOW what is that! My skin looks flawless!" I am SO happy that she recommended it to me.
Yes, please continue this series. Loved this first one and keep going! As someone in their early 50s who only wears minimal makeup and doesn't want to wear more or accidentally look like I'm wearing a lot I'm always looking for that no makeup look and the products to help me get it. I've always had oily skin and still do in the summer making sunscreen a challenge.
Thank you so much Gabi for this video, it has been so helpful. I am 58 yrs. old struggling with having a glow and natural make up look without wearing lots of foundation, and I will definitely try 2 of the products you had mentioned in this video, the Supergoop sunscreen and the Estee lauder foundation, I would love to see more videos like this one.
the Estee lauder foundation Is full coverage very thick and it exaggerates the texture of the skin… try Lancôme s idole that has great coverage but blends well in the skin, a little goes a long way as well…
Yes. I heard you rave about the L’Oréal foundation in another video. I am thinking of purchasing it, I’m just not sure how it will do on mature/oily skin. Yes! I am someone that tries to look my best most every day. Even if I don’t have plans for the day.
Hey Kelly! I have oily skin too and I wear it all the time. It is not a super long wear foundation but if you like a light/medium coverage that is luminous, you will likely really enjoy it. Have you ever tried Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation? That one is excellent for oilier mature skin.
I am SO GLAD I FOUND YOU!!!! WOW!!! GAME CHANGER! The more mature members of my family (my mom and aunts lol) think that glow is a NO for mature skin...😂 WRONG! it is the BEST choice. Works wonders on dry dull skin! THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXPERTISE!! ❤❤
Freakin love this format, definitely want to see more of these! I live in hellish heat and humidity so I've nixed nearly all but sunscreen. Definitely love hearing how the various products do in that kind of climate. Thanks as always!
Yes more please! you taught me a bunch of stuff in this video and so grateful. Thank you for some of the most useful info I've gotten on YT. going to buy everything you suggested except the expensive Lauder foundation. I've heard wonderful things about it but have yet to be really comfortable with full coverage makeup. Still working on a daily look and struggling with eye stuff. Watched and saved your video on eyeshadow - another super helpful lesson!
Yes, this not that! I’ve been lucky, with oily skin, now-as an older, mature woman, living further north, battling dry and dull Skin! My makeup looks good in the Am, at the end of a long day in different light, scary!!! Thank you, Gabi!
Hi Gabi I really enjoy watching your make and skincare tips for mature skin although some products are hard to find in the UK. I am 51, still have quite an active t-zone, normal skin on cheeks and fine lines around eyes but quite oily eyelids. I have a wide range of skincare and makeup that no matter what I use, makes me wish I had not bothered with make up once I’ve finished applying as the end result is not flattering. I’m mixed up with moisturising first, keeping a dewy look, the powdering to keep the t-zone down and containing the hot sweats from just starting the menopause!!! Skin care and make up was so easy in the 80’s when I was younger, now my skin type and care baffles me as I’m still prone to oily t-zone and spots but dealing with fine lines!!! Please help thank you xxxx
As always amazzzing!! love your channel and product recommendations. Great idea for this /not that , I’ve learnt so much about how to look my best , aging can be challenging but with all of your fabulous tips it feels great to look good and I am embracing ageing in a positive way Thank you
You got it Sherry! I will definitely make more content in this style. It is so much fun for me to go through all my products and think about what worked and what didn't.
I love how you talked about how it is not bad to want to look their best and take care of oneself. That really hit home since I live in Finland where most women wear very minimal makeup and wanting to look their best is considered very vain. I think everyone should just love and let live. Let's not drag other people down but compliment each other instead!
Yes, please do more this and not that. I just purchased the Dior Forever makeup, and have used it about a week. It does look awful and seems to emphasize my wrinkles and makes my skin look crepey. I’m glad I watched this video. I thought I had unrealistic expectations. Thank you.
Yes, yes and yes! I am 62 with wrinkles. I have been looking for a good foundation that doesn’t migrate into my lines and wrinkles. Your video was just in time😊❤.
I love this series. I look forward to seeing more. I’m almost 60 and adamant about taking care of myself and looks! I love makeup and skin care. I understand using glowing products but please suggest primers or sunscreen for sensitive combination skin, oily T zone, and I live in humidity in the summer- Charlotte NC. Getting older does not mean having dry skin for many of us, at least not yet. Thank you
Thanks Lisa! I will do some more of these for sure! It's a fun video for me to make as a creator especially considering I have tried everything one billion times over.
Thank you for this great video. Not to invest in these wrong products for mature skin, whitch are expensive and not helpful, is a great advice out of your big experice. Do more of such videos, please!
I love this format! It’s overwhelming when you’re looking at products in the store to know what to look for. Let alone which brands. Would love to see this or that for concealer and setting powder (particular for women, 50 and older.)
Yes... I enjoyed your tips....remember, older women are often retires, so budget is always important.
This is great feedback. Thank you for leaving it. I will keep this in mind for sure when I create my future content.
Well said!!
I use my glow screen, with my Loreal true match NUDE, mixed together on the back of my hand, then dot on, and pounce and bounce with my blender sponge, and a very light dusting of Cover Girl ageless blurring pressed powder. I'm 59+

Agreed!!!❤🥂
Your Mum knows best 😊
Please do the whole series! What an awesome idea. Also thank you so much for spotlighting mature people - women older than 35 are almost invisible in society, yet they are the ones who spend the most money on hair and makeup.
I vote YES for “THIS NOT THAT”! ❤
Totally agree 👍
What do you like about the L'Oreal foundation?
Yes, more of this/not that please! You give the truth and don’t have us overspending on mediocre products!
Yes!! Love this comment. I would love a video on the different brushes as well. Thanks for posting!
Add in some instructions for cleaning those brushes, too, please!
Absolutely agree 😊
I noticed after a certain age women cut their hair super short and start dressing like men. Big sweatshirts and sloppy pants. I can’t relate.
Oil of Olay total effects 7 is excellent! I’ve been using it since I was 28! I’m 44 now. It’s a SPF 30 with moisturizer. I use it all the time before I put my makeup on. It works! I’m the proof. ❤
Loved it ! Please do more! Concealers, blushes, etc! So useful and honest without sponsors!Thank you!
Yes, PLEASE continue with more tips for mature skin Love it all
I think a common mistake many mature women make is using a heavy hand with their makeup. Hence the concern of “trying too hard”. I encourage my fellow mature women, use all the products but start out light and easy. You can always add more as needed. Anyway, it’s an important I’ve learned over time - so many thanks for your kind and helpful guidance
Good point. I use ELF poreless primer and then blend a cream foundation on my hand with more of the primer. I blend 2 shades to get it just right.
Yes, please do continue the This not That series… I ❤ your videos!
Yes, please do a THIS NOT THAT on hair products! Love your honest reviews!
I agree, more videos that target color corrector and concealers!
Great reminders Gabi! Just a cool fyi: Trader Joe’s has and incredible dupe for the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen for a fraction of the price! I can’t live without it now! 😃
PLEASE do a this not that video on skin care for mature skin. I’m so tired of spending money on broken promises! Love your content! Thank you!
I have been switching all my products to vegan and cruelty free. It has been a challenge to find the right foundation. Most of your viewers may not have the same concerns. I would love to see a video with all cruelty free products. Love all your advice. 💗
I love that, “trying is not bad!” Yes, yes, yes. ❤
Yes! More! Especially for older women . I need all the help I can get!
A series, yes please! I'm going to try Double Wear. Thanks, Gabi
Yes! More This Not That. And could you please include products for eyebrows? Thank you.
Thanks for watching! Are you using any of these products?

Good morning beautiful love these kind of videos, thank you so much for this video. I just turned 50 I really needed this video❤😘😊have a wonderful day
Thank you so much for this video it's so helpful I love that some of the products are cruelty free TULA & Supergoop 💚 I put them in my Amazon cart to try. 🌸
Thank you for your time and videos.
@@jenxsj3902 That is amazing!!! I hope to have the same experience. I am RELIGIOUS about my sunscreen and my skincare routine in general.
I appreciate you addressing the issue of " trying too hard" and the negativity it stems from. It seems some people are just not comfortable with an older woman actively trying to be the best she can NOW. Thank you.
Yes, please do more videos!! I enjoy every one of them and have learned so much. Thank you 😊
Keep it up!
Yes, please make more videos like this! You take the guess work out of it for us 😊
What a nice way to start my day! Sending a grateful cyber hug from Southern California. You have helped me look so much better and more confident at 60. Please keep these videos coming.
Great video! Yes, make this a series please :)
Yes. Please continue. This was so very helpful. Thank you for your research into products for us older ladies.
Gabi, lovely series, of course you should continue!
When doing my mum’s (76) make up I am always surprised on what an enormous difference a good setting spray makes to get a beautiful end result. 👍🏻
Absolutely Yes to more videos like this. Thank you Gabi.
I would love for you to do a video on how to cover up brown spots and Malasma on mature skin. ❤😊
Yes please. Been going crazy and spending so much money to find what is good for mature skin.
I love this!!! Yes, more “use this and not that” please!!!!! I’ll be 62 in 10 days and love all of your advice!!
I would LOVE to see you do “this not that” for makeup products! 😊
Yess, I'd love to see more 'This and not That". Like one of your commenters already said, it it's like having a personal consultation.
Also, this video was really helpful in comparing the two foundations - that was exactly what I wanted to know!
Hello Gabi, I love this new series! So happy i found you I appreciate all the info for mature skin!
I am so happy that you are here! Thank you for joining the community! It means the world to me.
LOL
I'm so sorry about the loss of your wonderful grandparents too, that is so difficult.
Thank you for doing what you do and for sharing such helpful and amazing tips!! I appreciate you girl! Have a wonderful day!
I'd love to see more This/Not That. Very helpful.
Yes, keep them coming Gabi!!! I enjoy them all and appreciate that you include the over 60 crowd as well!
@@GlamGirlGabi , I totally agree, I have been using this for 20yrs. Nothing compares.
Thanks excellent and above all very useful.
Just like to add that it’s not “trying too hard” but it’s “ overdoing it” the problem
Loved this video please do more of this not that. I am 72 and this was so informative. Thanks
You are such a Nice person. You share the information in such a kind manner❤
Great video! I learn something all the time! Your tips are fantastic! Yes, keep series. We need it!❤️
I am SO GLAD I FOUND YOU!!!!
Me, too… Florida
Yes more please! you taught me a bunch of stuff in this video and so grateful. Thank you for some of the most useful info I've gotten on YT. going to buy everything you suggested except the expensive Lauder foundation. I've heard wonderful things about it but have yet to be really comfortable with full coverage makeup. Still working on a daily look and struggling with eye stuff. Watched and saved your video on eyeshadow - another super helpful lesson!
Yes- please do more of these! Thank you so much. ❤️
Yes, this not that! I’ve been lucky, with oily skin, now-as an older, mature woman, living further north, battling dry and dull
Skin! My makeup looks good in the Am, at the end of a long day in different light, scary!!! Thank you, Gabi!
Chanel the camellia water hydrant primer or light cream is amazing and smells is like heavens ❤❤
Oh by the way….always excited with your videos! A NEW SERIES!! Sounds wonderful ✨
Great idea for this /not that , I’ve learnt so much about how to look my best , aging can be challenging but with all of your fabulous tips it feels great to look good and I am embracing ageing in a positive way
Thank you
Loved this video, Gabi! Perfect timing. Sign me up for more of this series!
Thank you.
thank you for taking care for people old 50 and above
Yes, yes and yes! I am 62 with wrinkles. I have been looking for a good foundation that doesn’t migrate into my lines and wrinkles. Your video was just in time😊❤.
I love this series. I look forward to seeing more. I’m almost 60 and adamant about taking care of myself and looks! I love makeup and skin care. I understand using glowing products but please suggest primers or sunscreen for sensitive combination skin, oily T zone, and I live in humidity in the summer- Charlotte NC. Getting older does not mean having dry skin for many of us, at least not yet. Thank you
❤Hi, Gabi!! Yes! Please do a series on these! Love your opinions and recommendations!!❤
Thanks Lisa! I will do some more of these for sure! It's a fun video for me to make as a creator especially considering I have tried everything one billion times over.
@@GlamGirlGabi Yes, you are the ultimate pro!! Sooooo wish you could do mine!! Bucket List!! 🥰
Please do a full video of this and not that. This video was awesome!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for the words of wisdom not only about make-up, but about not listening to toxic people.
Yes! Please more of "This", "Not That". Loved your tutorial ❤
Love this, do more. I like the “why” you share.
Thank you! Will do! I appreciate the feedback!
