I’m way beyond your age limit for this video (60) but I think all this advice is applicable to all ages! I loved what you said about giving people compliments. I get a lot of random people telling me how beautiful my skin is and it makes me SO happy. IDK if it really is beautiful (I know I have good skin for my age but it’s far from perfect) but it always makes me feel good. Today I went into this place to see about scheduling a facial and I told the receptionist “I’m just feeling blah and not pretty” and she said “Oh you’re beautiful!” Again, not true - but even though I know it’s not true it made me feel happy! Always tell people when you like something about them. It’s such an easy way to spread happiness!! ❤

What a sweet message! I am just a makeup artist who lives in the suburbs of Canada. Lol! Very much a down to earth girl. I appreciate you watching and supporting so much ❤️
Gabi, I am not finished watching this video (but will certainly do so), but I had to make sure to ask you what angled eyeliner brush you used. I've been trying some different ones for quite a while, and have not found one that I'm completely happy with. Also, I love what you do for those of us who have been following you and are "older." I am way past the 30-40 age group, but can still benefit from the advice given here. And please don't take this the wrong way - I really prefer the way you look with a softer makeup look. You are naturally stunning and beautiful, but when you came out with the video where a "top celebrity makeup artist does my makeup," the look was softer and really brought out your true beauty. This doesn't mean that I don't think that you always look great, but the softer look seems to show how gorgeous you really are. To top it off, you come across as warm and compassionate. You are a pleasure to listen to and watch.
Thank you for reminding us that it’s ok to want to look nice no matter how old you are. I feel so many older women just give up - cut their hair very short, stop wearing any makeup etc.
Whilst walking my dog recently, I ran into a lady walking her dog and commented on how wonderful her skin was. She told me she’s turning 70 soon and that I made her day!! She was on vacation from the UK, and said she will be telling her son about what I said. She had minimal lines & wrinkles. I was kinda jealous 😂
AH!!!!!!! I just got my brows powdered and I'm IN LOVE!!!!!! It makes doing my brows so quick and easy, and most days I don't even bother doing anything with them anymore. Being naturally blonde if I don't have makeup on you can't tell I have eyelashes or eye brows so I look like a weird goblin. So it's so nice to wake up, or be able to run to the gym or grocery store without make up and not look like a complete weirdo with zero effort. I'm so sad you aren't liking yours :( I'm actually going in next week to have my lashline done.
I love your videos and watch them all. Even 70 year olds can do this and look great 🥰. I love Les Beiges water fresh complexion touch and I use this almost daily...especially in the summer. At 70, I do have to use a little more concealer, but I wore the "full face" of makeup for over 50 years and am over it, except special occasions. I wear very little eye shadow(dry eyes won't let me) so use bright lipsticks and a pop of color on cheeks. I have learned so much about hair(mine is like yours) and finally it's shining! You have awesome advice and an excellent teacher. Keep it up!! 💋
Thank you so much Carolina for such a sweet message! It sounds like you have a really great routine that is totally working for you! I always tell women over the age of 60 that the easiest and best way to look amazing is to add a pop of color to the lips and cheeks! It will instantly make you looked polished.
I love your videos, the way you talk, your voice and the tips and tricks that you are giving us. This one with the moisturizer was so good one - cleaning and moisturizing the area in same time! I will apply this when I do my makeup next time! Also, the brighting under the eye wing was so effective! I love your simple still gorgeous looking routine for natural makeup. It is closely to mine. The only difference is that I am using powder products for blush and bronzer. About your eyebrows - at nights you can apply on them a castor oil with a spoolie - this is the best and natural way to grow up your hairs again! I have lost mine because of some thiroid problems and a lot of stress before, so this is how I grew them up again. About awkwardly asking people some stuff or making them compliments - I am always saying that if we have something bad to say in anger, we should count to ten. But if we have smth good to say, it should be definitely said. I am constantly making compliments to random ppl by telling them the good things which crossing my mind when I look at them, no matter if it is about their healthy look today, or their hairstyle, or their os beautifully polished nails. And once, some years ago, at my job then, I asked one customer of mine, what is the perfume she is wearing, because it was a fragrance which is the exact with I am recognizing and describing myself. And since then this is my signature perfume and I never change it! Thank you, Gabi, for this video and the chat with you! Stay that kind, feminine, intelligent, down to earth and beautiful inside and out, girl, because this is why it is such a pleasure for me to watch your content 💜
You did it AGAIN!!! What a great video and instruction. I love the look! You are so beautiful and a great teacher. I tried the Chanel Blush in the same formula as the foundation you used. It is beautiful! I'm 64 yrs. old and people keep asking me what is on my face.😊. Thank you for putting in the time to teach us. I appreciate it.❤🌸
I use castor oil for eyebrows and lashes, I put it on over night. They have actually thickened and grown. I love the videos you make, from every one of them I learn something new.❤
Hello Gabi from Germany 👋 I just want to say that even if I follow several beauty youtubers , as I start watchin you video, I said wow. Because you are so authentic, funny and positive and cute and explaining so good. Thank you so much ❤
Thank you for watching Sonja! I hope that you learn lots! This was a casual video and I really enjoyed doing my day to day look and chatting through it. When I am not talking, this entire look takes me about 10 minutes from start to finish.
This is so helpful!!! I just watched your last video on how you said you were not beautiful growing up and I’m really liking your content. I just joined the 30 club last November and I’m trying to find ways to make my makeup look good for my age. Some days I look my age and other days, I look like I’m ten years younger. ❤❤❤❤❤
Can you put a drugstore dupe for all the products you used ? I can’t afford dept store makeup. I do want to buy that good sunscreen but drugstore on the makeup. You are so stunning!! I wish my skin was as flawless as yours without makeup. Maybe you can do a skincare routine for us too ? And hopefully drugstore skincare I wish I could afford expensive skincare but I can’t. Thank you ❤
Loved this video. Watch it few times and I will watch again. So simple and pretty makeup. I do makeup like you did today I don’t like to put foundation. Just a bit of concealer, little eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. And most people telling me I like much younger then my age . I’m 54 . But most telling me I look like 35 . Of course it make me happy but the reason is that I don’t put too much makeup. Light and fresh make up is better then painting in the face specially for mature skin . Thanks a lot for this video. ❤️❤️
Thank you Gabi for this beautiful makeup tutorial! You are the best and the one I trust completely when I buy products . Can you please do a video on long lasting lipsticks? Thx
Thank You Gabi! On my way to Shoppers for the q-tips then I have to dig out my Chanel Complexion touch… I hated it too! I see Chanel just brought back their cushion foundation. That is definitely going in my cart! Love from Windsor ON 💖
Love you right back!! I hope you like this video. It's super casual and chatty. I really enjoyed making this while I got ready for a normal day here in the studio.
Looks great but I have mature hooded eyes with excess skin and I use Demi from Seint and I have people saying I have beautiful skin I just use just Demi for color correcting and add color where needed. I have my hair up so don’t forget to make sure you color your ears . I love using channel brow blond color it’s great. Thank You julie
Being 51 I've noticed that less is more. I have very dry under eyes so now I just color correct first and just put a light hydrating foundation all over the face and I notice that works for me. Love the eyeliner tip. I'm going to try that and yes.... make your own brushes!!! That would be fabulous!
Thanks for sharing what you do! That sounds perfect! It’s nice to wear simple makeup that really just lets your natural beauty shine through! ❤️ I’m so happy to hear that you found this video helpful. It was a little longer then usual but I got chatty 😂
Hello, so glad I found you. I was excited to see you use some tools and products that I already have 🎉. I love my Quo brushes and my City products. I have been binge watching you since the weekend. I’m going out to look for the Elf powder. I’m 56 and have always had very bad allergies, leaving me with big bags and dark circles under my eyes. I will also look for a colour corrector for the circles but the bags look terrible with concealer. Do you have a way to hide them too? I also have to tell you that you look and sound so much like Sandra Bullock from Miss Congeniality. You make me smile.
I absolutely love this 🙌🏻. 2 QUESTIONS PLEASE 🙏😬When you do a more makeup day do you also use Chanel foundation? And what do you use for skincare??? 🤔. You have beautiful skin 💗. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏻
Glow screen is just a little too dark for my fair skin. I use it sometimes just on my cheeks like a bronzer/highlighter, and ill use it on my chest. I get a similar effect from the Loreal True Match HA tinted serum. Its pretty amazing and comes in different tones!
I love watching your videos and really enjoy how much positive energy you exude. Just one little thing...the flashing light effect that you use between scenes is quite aggressive on the eyes. Would it be possible for you to use a softer effect?
Thank you so much! That means the absolute world to me. This video was super chatty and causal which was fun for me but I often structure them a bit more. Which style do you prefer?
@@GlamGirlGabi I honestly enjoy all your videos but there was something about this one that I found so easy to follow and thought, I could do that. I’m sure I’ll watch it multiple times. Like how a simple step can create such a great impact, i.e., the lighter shade of shadow near your eyeliner “flick”. Lol. That was genius. In addition, you always choose looks that are so flattering - the more natural/neutral colors combined with the right products. It looked refined but not over the top. As an older woman and viewer, I often feel overlooked, and even sometimes invisible. I know the title said 30’s and 40’s but I think it was appropriate for every age. I’ve always loved makeup, and try to look my best, but as I’ve aged I use less but I’m definitely more strategic. You’re a true beauty, thank you for sharing your talents with us. 🥰
@@ghc26 Thank you so much for such a sweet comment! It's funny because this video isn't performing well for me here on the channel and I often feel like my more conversational and casual videos just don't resonate with people as much even though it is my favourite style of video to make. This comment you left is really encouraging. I am so happy that I was able to give you some techniques that can potentially help you feel your best. Sending a hug your way.
@@GlamGirlGabi people are so fickle, and demanding., Ugh, you do you. Thank you for taking the time to respond back, again, you made my night! 💓 ((virtual hugs)) back to you.
I love the flicking the eyeliner trick, works like a charm. Bought some of the CityBeauty UpLifting Firming Serum can't wait for it to come in, thanks for the tips!!!
Hi, Great video! You give such helpful info. Please do an everyday makeup video for over 50. I’m 56 and struggling so to find products for every day makeup look. I live In a very high humid area and I have dry uneven skin tone, under eye hallows & darkness. I’d love a healthy, younger look for everyday but it is not easy. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you so much!
What concealer color did you use ? Can only buy online and its hard to tell which one to get! Thanks , love watching your videos and the level of detail you provide. You're very beautiful and talented!
I love this makeup look Gabi!! It’s so beautiful and you look amazing! ❤️ Super Goop Glow screen is the best!! It’s my absolute favorite 😍 I’m 36 and I go for these types of makeup looks too. I don’t know what it is but I feel more comfortable and beautiful with a more fresh face look with makeup. Thanks for sharing your makeup tips. It was super helpful 😃
Same! I used to LOVE super dramatic makeup. I absolutely loved for it for over ten years and now I very rarely wear my makeup like that and when I do, I feel much less beautiful.
Hey Gabi..! I completely understand I stop once a girls with beautiful hair cut...I asked who is doing her hair...and she said" I doing by myself"..She was in shop with her boyfriend I said I'm sorry but I need her phone number 😅😅she give me...since then she is always the best one for my hair...so many of my friends star going to here...then she moved out and I was still going at least one a year for my amazing hair treat by her!!!..Now she travelling a lot and I'm still keeping in touch !!!❤
I LOVE THAT! We have to support and lift each other up as women. I always think about how if I have a super positive thought about someone, why not tell them!
FAVORITE LOOK! You look great! I'd love to see you work with your natural curl sometime... you may already have videos...I didn't realize you had a wedding business as well! Oh, that is some pressure, I'm sure. Just doing an occasional bride is worrisome. TAKE CARE❤
This look is perfecto for summer! Love it!!!! I'm not sure if you already know but Stila has a tool called Save the Day Eye and Lip Perfector that does the same as the pointed Qtip🙂
Would you still recommend the darker shade in crease (where you put the Chanel bronzer color) on people with deep set eyes? I’m older than your target audience here (I’m 52) and age has hollowed out my eye area some. Would you use a lighter sandy tone on someone like me? (I know I’m over a year late on this video- I’m a new subscriber and LOVE your content!💖)
Welcome to the channel! It depends on the look you are going for, but I would probably go for softer lighter colors if you naturally have depth, you don't need as much contrast to create the illusion of depth. I have a whole playlist of Aging Beautifully which includes a lot of my makeover videos so you can see some of the different approaches I take, depending on the model.
Lol, I was just about to put on my bb cream when you mentioned sunscreen... I had gone back to get my sunscreen because I needed it and still forgot! Thanks for the reminder😂😂😂
You sold me on the Chanel water fresh complexion touch. I am ready to order. I have a similar skin tone to yours. Would you please tell me what shade you use? Thankyou so much!! Michelle
I have oily skin and any sunscreen I try to wear irritates my skin and eyes ! Which sunscreen do you recommend for oily sensitive skin? I’ve tried LaRoche Posay, Supergoop (moves around too much on oily skin) Cetaphil, Cerave, Neutrogena, etc
Very nice can you do the same video for ages 50-60 please I love that natural look but I’m so used to using foundation but for the summer I do use a tinted moisturizer oh n by the way I have the super goop sun protection but it’s the original no glow I absolutely love it ❤
I don't know why, and is it just me, but although I use eye cream(so my undereyes are moisturised), whenever I try to blend concealer with my fingers, it looks like I'm pulling the skin. Precisely, my skin sticks to my figer and I'm afraid I will "ruin" that already delicate skin. Any suggestions? It also doesn't look amazing when I blend it with a sponge, like UA-camrs... I'm a bit lost. Great video, as always! 👌😘
Very sorry for your losses. Grief is so hard and it takes longer than we expect. It drains you emotionally, mentally and physically ~ be extra kind to yourself!
Thank you Gabi - I love that tip where you use the brush over the eyeliner pencil to give you a cleaner wing! Love that tip. I don't really like wearing foundation - for years now I have been using Bare Minerals. Have you heard of that line? If so, I would love to hear your opinion. Appreciate these great tips 😊💕
I love Bare Minerals! I use it too but I only use it in the summer months when my skin has more oil to it so that my skin doesn't look too dry. It's easy to use and so pretty. Do you use the original or matte?
@@GlamGirlGabi Oh nice! I don't hear a lot of people using this product and I absolutely love it. I use the original - I don't have oily skin so I use it all year round 😊
Does the “light reflection” in super goop , make wrinkles look prominent? I ask because i have deep forehead wrinkles , and a deep wrinkle in between my eyes , which I’m very self conscious about and because I’ve heard that highlighters aren’t flattering for wrinkles. They seem to draw attention to them. Am I understanding that correctly?

I use MACC paint pot just as you. Love it and Coloescience has a glow SPF 50.
I’m all about less ( and especially no foundation) beautiful video Gabi ❤💄
I love a no foundation look too! It's so much easier and if you take care of your skin, it's a quick and still beautiful application.
What concealer color did you use ? Can only buy online and its hard to tell which one to get! Thanks , love watching your videos and the level of detail you provide. You're very beautiful and talented!
Great video, what shade of L'oreal concealer did you use, thx
TAKE CARE❤
I am going to be making a video about my natural curls very soon! Stay tuned for that!
@@GlamGirlGabi Great! Will do

Everything changes as we mature..graceful and a little ohlala is what to do ..just my opinion ..😍
I love graceful + Oh La La! You nailed it ;)
I love your videos 😍 ABH Brow Duo and Mac Paint Pot I am use for more than 10 years now! Favorite products!
Sisley phyto cernes eclat eye concealer (my favorite since turning 30)
I LOVE the shape of your eyebrows!!!
Thanks for the video! What shade of L’Oréal concealer did you use?
You are the best! Lots of great tips!
Girl don't worry about your eyebrows. God made you perfect in his own image and remember that eyebrows are sisters not twins!😘
This look is perfecto for summer! Love it!!!!
I'm not sure if you already know but Stila has a tool called Save the Day Eye and Lip Perfector that does the same as the pointed Qtip🙂
I’ve never heard of that product Elle!! Thanks for sharing! I will definitely have to check that out!
Fabulous video and learnt so many new techniques
U're looking absolutely stunning
Thank u Gabi
Thank you so much for such a sweet message! I really appreciate it!
Love your channel. Trying these tricks eyeliner tricks today. 🤗
You sold me on the Chanel water fresh complexion touch. I am ready to order. I have a similar skin tone to yours. Would you please tell me what shade you use?
Thankyou so much!!
Michelle
I hope your brows are still growing. I’m using nulastin with great success on brows and lashes. Longest lashes I’ve ever had!
Can you make a lipstick and liner suggestion for a nice mauve/nude for someone who is a light/ fair skin tone ❤
Hi. Can you do a 'no mascara' look please for those who don't have good enough eyelashes for a natural look and can't wear mascara.
Can you suggest a good dupe for the chanel products?
Would like to know color of the Chanel Fresh Complexion Touch you used.
3:00 You need Inglot's Duraline. One drop (literally) will reconstitute that MAC Paint Pot. Add one drop and let it sit overnight.
Very sorry for your losses. Grief is so hard and it takes longer than we expect. It drains you emotionally, mentally and physically ~ be extra kind to yourself!
I love your videos......some great tips on makeup application. 😊
Thank you so much! I am so happy that you are learning some new things here on the channel :)
This was so good, thank you! ❤
Thank you foe all your great explanations❤❤❤
LOVED this video, and I’m age 61! Great tips!
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope that you learned something new that you can apply to your own routine :)
@@GlamGirlGabi I certainly did!
What brush did you use first the applying the bronzer under the eye area? On the lower lash line
@@antoniarebelo6703 Nice! It's quick to use and an easy solution for a lot of women.
Obsessed. Here from Nikki LA Rose. I learned so much, and I looooove your earrings! Details please???
Fabulous!!!❤
What color are you using in the Loreal concealer and the Mac prep prime, if you could tell me.
Wow, you look amazing! 😇
Love your videos!
Simple but effective
So helpful and sweetie you're beautiful and look like you're in your twenties.

I just watched a video where you said that never in your life have you ever used a eye lid primer! 😂😂
I hardly ever use it. I have some now but I rarely use it. 90 percent of the time I use a MAC paint pot or a concealer set with powder
Can you please describe your haircut so I can tell my stylist how to cut mine? Thank you!
