      @@user-fc9fg5ix2x there are some restrictions on foreigners buying agricultural land I have Japanese relatives so I can work around it.

      most likely the fact that buying a house in japan does not grant you residency. so you could be spending 76000 dollars for a vacations home.

      He may have mixed up 7 and 9. It's a Japanese thing I see a lot here. 7 is "nana". The exchange rate change the past few months isn't close enough to make a $20,000 swing
      Japanese also mix up saying 12 and 20 in English
