- So, as an update to the last video I posted (in late December 2023) regarding my residence card situation, I wanted to let you know that I now finally have my residence card IN HAND! Woohoo! 🎉
In this video, you will see me going to the #lojadacidadao to the #AIMA office in #Faro, where I went last month to inquire about the status on receiving my Portuguese residence card renewal. 😅🙏🏼😍
For those interested in a timeline, my card expired in August 2023 and I could not renew online. (Reference video here: • #Truth! This is what i... ). I was finally able to schedule an appointment on the SIGA website for an appointment in Tavira in December 2023. (Reference video here: • I Got My #portugal #re... ).
It’s now May so 5 months later, I received my card in the mail (and I didn’t have to sign for it like in previous times).
I’M SO THRILLED! 👏🏼 And I’m good to live in Portugal for another 3 years! 😍
