- We’re off to the races! Car racing that is… with Edit.Algarve and SAVG! 🏎️💨🔥🌟 Such a fun event at the Algarve #Autodromo in Portimao - a first for me as I don’t know much about car racing, nor have I ever watched a race, let alone a live one! SAVG is a group committed to fostering a community that embraces the raw and the genuine, encouraging exploration and authenticity in every aspect of life.
The event we saw was a collaboration with P21 Motorsport in the #Porsche Sprint Challenge, featuring races across six renowned circuits on the Iberian Peninsula: Estoril, Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Motorland, Valencia, Jerez, and Barcelona.
We arrived around noon (the event started at 11am) and saw about 4 races and it was so thrilling! We also saw 4 different talented deejays. I’m sure the party was really kicking after we left (since we left early at around 5pm), but happy that it was a family-friendly day.
We also got to experience the AI photobooth, which made us look like actual car racers. Jax’s photos turned out great! More info here: aiphotobooth.eu
The day was so much fun - and I really need to find out when there will be another car racing event at the Autodromo! I highly recommend! t was so exciting to watch and it was really a fun, incredible experience!

What an empty place, it's surprising that nobody showed up to the race 🏎️, was it during the week? Or poor advertisement?
Your kid is lucky, and seem to be a good boy, hopefully he won't charge too much during the adolescence. 😉
I know - I was so surprised there weren't more people because the event was so cool and was €20 so not cost-prohibitive. Maybe more people came after we left because it was a deejay party type thing and that's more fun at night. 🤩 And funny about my hubby - he likes to keep a low profile so you probably won't see him much in my videos! 😅
