Omg you’re the only one I’ve found who goes into actually swirling like this with melt & pour! I kept getting told it’s not possible compared to cold process
Looks great but I’m wondering why you didn’t have the silicone loaf mould in a wooden mould or have something on each side in the middle to stop in bulging.
I have bought the opaque soapy twist swirling base. It melts at a low temperature and dries very fast. It does give swirls but it difficult to use as one has to work very fast in a room without fan. I wish that the base was slow setting. The kind of swirls shown in this video will take time to make.
But that way the fragrance oil will evaporate when you reheat it? I have also had the same problem while using your soap bases. They really set fast, not giving any opportunity to add fragrances or any additives. Sometimes even while pouring. The percentage of wastage is very high.
@@supriyaa6945 hey, was this issue sorted out? I have just started making soap amd have used their shea butter and transparent but do find that they heat up real quick and harden even faster! And the soap bases are much more expensive than other vendors. Pls share your experience, thanks a lot :)
Hi did u purchase soap bases from soapy twist so for swirling effect which base we should buy I am confused I want to buy but don't no which base is good for swirling effect
She has used a special type of base to be able to swirl like that. She mentioned that on one of the comments. Melt n pour bases are not that thick unfortunately
Not this well unless you work incredibly fast. I’ve tried to make a soap like this recently with Melt and Pour base, and it definitely set faster than their showing in the video.
I had the same problem as Janhavi baijirekar with my shea butter soapy twist base. It melts soon( in double boiling and in microwave) and setting fast too not allowing to add the essential oil and colour to mix properly and also it sweats a lot really a lot. Can you help fixing this.
is it just me or my melted soap base has a skin on it and cools wayyyyyyyyyyy too fast any tip for that because i cant even put it down for once it gets a skin every second.
@@asiamiller6833 I can't either but there site shows a slow melt base. Maybe that will work, not sure. My comment was more towards the person telling you that any base will work 😉
Who else is here because you got inspired to make soap from Katie Carson but are too much of a wimp to invest in cold processes so you’re just gonna dip your toes into the soap world by making melt and pour. Just me? Okay.
I starting to wonder too. I tried to make a soap like this a couple days ago with melt and pour, and it definitely started setting before I was even halfway done.

i have never seen M&P swirl like this. this is STUNNING!!!
Thank you
So beautiful! at what temperature did you start pouring the colors in?
Make sure before u pour its at 120 or 125. She didn’t mention that in the video
Obrigada
Exactly what I needed to see. Thank you.
Nice and to the point ! Great job
What witchery is this!! Swirling melt and pour to look like cold process....well I never....amazed
This is an amazing video btw, I just learn I can out the loaf in half for more bars, how awesome is that
Is there a special melt and pour soap to use or an you just use regular melt and pour soap 🤷🏾♀️
Wow i didnt know u can do this with melt and pour love it
Definitely trying this over the weekend!

do u use a special m&P soap base that lets you swirl the different colors?
@@kathyvolpe-schaffer7419 yes, it’s swirling soap base from soapy twist

Yes she actually used melt n pour in the video!

No, it won't work with regular melt and pour bases. This base is a specific type

Wow 😍 very nice 😀
This was such a fire design. 👌🏾😍😍😍
Beautiful!
what temperature did you pour at
Beautiful, do you ship to the U S
Can it be any soap base or is there a place to get the “swirling” soap base??
@@KiraCuraMusic you can do this with only swirling soap base sold by soapy twist india
They (SoapyTwist) don’t ship to USA :/ 😢and I looked on their website: I think it’s the Slow setting Melt & Pour base that allows for swirls.
Perfect ! 💚
Amazing
Hi ..are these soap bases naturally thick or you have added something to them?
Hmm
The link for the bases don't work.
I had the same problem as Janhavi baijirekar with my shea butter soapy twist base. It melts soon( in double boiling and in microwave) and setting fast too not allowing to add the essential oil and colour to mix properly and also it sweats a lot really a lot. Can you help fixing this.
Do it on a stovetop double boiler not microwave. It's not about the base but how you're heating in. Think of trying to treat it as you would chocolate
Nice and simple.. love it 💕.. is there a difference in melt n pour soap vs swirling soap?
there has to be because I have only see a swirl like that in cold process soap....I want this base
I dont think it is melt and pour soap
It's cold process
Misleading title
No. It's MP because she had reheat the liquid soap because they hardened. Cp soap doesn't hardened fast
at what temp do you pour
Where can this soap base be purchased in the USA? This soap is beautiful.
Who sells swirling base??? Thank you.
is it just me or my melted soap base has a skin on it and cools wayyyyyyyyyyy too fast any tip for that because i cant even put it down for once it gets a skin every second.
You have to stir it often.
How to get colours?
At looks like a very cold pour. What temperature are you pouring that? Do you have any problems with separation of the layers as a result?

Is there anywhere in the US I can get the melt and pour swirl soap base?
Heather Whipple candle supply online stores like lonestar candles ship anywhere in US :)
Bramble berry, Amazon, etc
Walmart and Michael’s both have regular melt and pour soap bases.
I've tried this with melt and pour but it goes hard too quickly 😮
I thought you had to spray alcohol in between your colors to add more soap layers
Anybody know where to purchase swirl base here in the US?

I feel so called out 😂
So because a Katie Carson I now own everything to make cold processed soap.. I just need the time to do it I have 4 children. I am so excited though.
Yep that's me
Nope boo me too and I love it!!
I'm doing it because I don't want to risk inhaling lye lol
At what temperature do you have your soaps?
Following
They said 70 degrees Celsius in a comment above =) just saw it
I want this base...is it regulated for use in the USA? How much in US currency does 1 kg cost....
They don’t deliver to USA as far as I saw on their website. Only India or Australia. 1kg was like $4 and some change when I googled the currency
That's not melt and pour soap, thats cold process homemade soap.
Melt and pour soap has lye in it btw the term you're probably looking for is cold process
I was wondering the same thing. A melt n pour would have solidified in cups and before swirl process, I've tried
@@missjay2183 same thoughts I was like no way the mp would of hardened not even half way through the swirling
It is MP soap and it did hardened. She said to just reheat.
This is melt and pour but it's not the regular type, this is a specific MP base made specifically for swirls
No way regular melt and pour soap bases can achieve that kind of swirl.
This is made with special swirling soap base by the company soapy twist
But that is not melt and pour soap.
It’s melt and pour soap only! We made this using soapy twist’s swirling soap base
@@soapytwistindia Wow. I've never heard of that. Wish I had some!
This is cold process soap. There is no MP That allows you to do this. Good soap tho.

Dont use black doesn't look good.
