Testing out the Ascaso Baby T Plus on video for the first time. Still trying to dial in the beans with the grinder and the Baby T and adapting to the steaming power of this beast.
Very nice intro to this Ascaso Baby T machine, CY. It is an interesting arrangement using a tank for the robust steam, while a thermoblock controls brewing. Seems it is opposite to conventional setups, isn,t it? Looks like an easy machine to love with features like a phone connection for refining settings. Your fine channel provides me much enjoyment, CY. Thank you.

Thanks Lawrence. Yeah, I pulled a few shots of the Raspberry Candy my friend had brought to me later that evening and the shots are dialed in almost perfect. I will show that in the next video soon and I am getting use to the steaming power of the Baby T. I am loving this machine.
Very well explained. I m always wondering about the espresso shot alone. Is it as good quality as a Lamarzocco? And it seems quiet but it s hard to tell, is it silent ?
As a comparison to Lelit bianca, it is slightly louder because of its faster flow. I have not use a lamarzocco before and hopefully in the near future I can compare them. As for built quality, it's really well built and well finished. Quality components.
Bianca is a machine that has much slower water flow as compared to Ascaso Baby T plus, hence, if you are doing mostly light roasted coffee, Bianca will serve you better and more forgiving if you don't get the grind size right because you can use the flow control paddle to save the shot. On the Baby T plus, the water flow rate is much higher as compared to the Bianca and personally I think it can handle medium to darker roast better. And to dial in the shot, your grind size is very important.
Hi. If you need to change the pressuse to reach 8 bar, how do you do? The machine must be working when you turn the screw? Or is only turn the screw with the machine in pause?
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore I don't know，reliability, capability and longevity but it takes time to tell. Don't get me wrong, I really like the design but just need more reviews to help me make decision. It's something not cheap. Looking forward to hearing more about this machine. Have a nice day.

i believe you.can use a blind basket while engaging brew and you adjust the screws at the bottom simultaneously to adjust the brew pressure.
Love the looking more than linea mini, but for the price, can Baby t plus beat the mini?

@@zuuzuka yeah I totally understand. So far we have cafe purchasing the baby T plus and it's working well as a daily driver with florenzato F4E.
I just got this machine, but the display is coming up with AL6?? Maximum filling boiler - but I dont know what that means?? :(
