Would love to see a comparison of this vs. a La Marzocco Linea Mini
Reviewers always say it’s Rotary Pump and so can be plumbed direct to water line. I have a BFC Junior and it has a vibration pump and it is plumbed into the water line and it works just fine pulling 2 bar though an in-line water filter. I’ve had the machine for 12+ years and its virtually bullet-proof and has never let me down. Thanks for taking time to do these reviews.
Excellent video. Thanks.. Is it in the Lelit Bianca category or more of a LMLM?
Just have to say that if the unit won't fit under the cupboard because of the steam handle, then you won't get cups on the top either.
how does the drip tray plumb in work?
Hi, what's this knokbox next to the grinder?
Great reviews on UA-cam so far! Very in-depth about the machine.
I am in the market looking for machine, is it possible to do comparison between Linea Mini? As both are at the same price point. Thanks!
the linea mini costs 1000+ more then the baby T more or less depending on if u chose the baby T plus or baby T zero
What are those black translucent mugs you're using?
Hey John
is it possible for you to review Nuova Simonelli Appia Life 1 Group Volumetric Commercial Espresso Machine! With auto steam
Will you be reviewing the rocket epica
Please do a review with the Ascaso 2 group
I was so excited when I read about this new model as a potential upgrade to my trusty steel uno….then I saw the price….😱😱😱
Great instroduction! Any thought vs Linea Mini?
Also curious about this! Any updates?
Not sure about the pump noise but it might be from the filming. Is it as quiet as a Linea ?
it's a rotary pump so yes, it should be as quiet as the Linea.
tell us about the brew group...
Hey there! I'm soon launching a coffee pop-up for my coffee social enterprise. I'm needing a smaller espresso machine and debating between the Ascaso Baby T and La Marzocco Linea Mini (just watched Seattle Coffee Gear's video of each machine). Which do you suggest between the two? How do you compare these two compact espresso machines?
I'm doing the same in WA state, looking at the same two machines! Would love to hear if you received any feedback or insight!
Hey! Also considering between those two. Any updates on either?
Any updates if you ended up buying this or another machine?
I like the machine a lot, but one issue with the app. How to operate the machine after they will have stopped the support / updates of the app, so when once the app is no more compatible with the then current versions of ios, android… Therefore: can you change all the settings or at least the pod, the temperatures and the brew times via the machine itself without the app as well?
you can basically operate all the functions of the machine without the app through the S, L, XL buttons. It is all shown in the user manual. Obviously it is going to be less convenient.
Over $7500 in Australia ... ouch
It s really expensive in Canada too, how much is a Linea Mini in Oz?
Would have liked to know whether the portafilter was made from brass or SS, frame construction, boiler material, build quality etc. A damn good looking machine, if somewhat overpriced.
He literaly said its not SS
As a new owner I can confirm that the portafilters are in fact made from stainless steel.
The boiler is SS, the housing is SS, and the portafilters are SS. And btw you can order this for $2800 shipped to the US right now from 30.coffee
@@cm2687did you purchase a machine from them?
It's odd, the rotary pump sounds bad, more like a vibration pump.
for 6 gs I could get 2 nice rocket machines
How we miss GALE!!
Gale! Please tell me you can help me fix my Breville BES870xl. I need a new three way solenoid valve. You have, yes?
Insanely expensive

This is a $5500 machine before tax. You need to sell me harder on why this is so much better.
Dude is falling asleep mid sentence. I recommend speed it up to at least 1.25X speed.
@@ho560402 1.5x at least
buy the sage oracle for 1500. that is even better then this i think.
@ no 😂
@@sebaba001 What is that machine can do and the Oracle cannot ?
If you can afford this or the Linea Mini, you have to go Linea Mini. People who can by a Ferrari do not buy a corvette
linea mini is well known, but it doesnt make it better. This Ascaso machine is amazing and great for home.
Am I out of line thinking that Acaso seems to “put a dress on a pig.” Not that the internals are garbage, but a plastic hose to the steam wand and plated copper portafilter? On a $6k machine! Idk, feels wrong.
Plated copper is best
why? @@DasCayman
@@swnick8467 copper has the best thermal conductivity 400 W/mK vs 16 W/mK in 316 Stainless. This means the portafilter will heat up faster with copper and maintain that heat too with its thermal emissivity. Source: I’m a mechanical engineer
@@DasCayman ah i see. Thank you for taking the time to teach me something new.
