As an autistic teenager, it really makes me happy when people aren't complete jerks just because I dont make sense to them, and when neurotypical people aren't fine with autistic jokes that are made with bad intentions
I'm not autistic but it annoys me to no end when someone makes a 'joke' like that. I have a younger brother with autism and he's so sweet!
It's really disgusting, the lengths that some people go to just to whine and cry about something they don't understand. It's like this asshole sees that a certain group of people have real issues and insecurities about those issues, and he just capitalizes off of those insecurities. He truly is the textbook definition of a bully, and there's no way he doesn't realize that. Everyone should have respect for autistic people, because they go through more than most people could handle in their entire lives.
Non autistic people are weird. They adhere to social standards and traditions that only exist because "this always have". They see the world through some kind of warped lense, whereas neurodivergent people see it bluntly, how it is. It's why we are so blunt; we see things in an objective manner.
Being autistic in this world sucks but some people make up for it who genuinely care

I feel you, I’ve had many insensitive people in my life. And as neurodivergent people, it’s hard for us to make and keep friends and it’s not always easy cutting people off or starting new relationships or friendships, but could you probably tell them exactly how you feel? If they’re not saying it in a joking manner and are using it to deliberately degrade you they should know that it’s harmful for you :(
