In kindergarten, there was a boy who always wore dresses and skirts to school. I wasn’t blatantly told it was wrong, so you know how I reacted to that? I didn’t. My reaction was to be his friend, and play on the playground. To compliment his skirts, and play in the mud. I wasn’t confused by it. Now many of my classmates were told that it was weird, and because of that, they would make fun of him. It’s literally all about what we teach children, not what they experience. A boy in a dress will never be confusing to children unless you tell them to be confused. If a 6 year old kid could understand that, so can full grown adults.
I don't know if this sounds dumb, but something similar happened to me when I played UnderTale, I was 11, then there's this lesbian couple in the game, and just like you, I didn't react, I didn't think it was weird nor questioned it, I thought they were cute. It's exactly as you said, you're correct.

Guys, I live in Algeria (a North-African Arabic Muslim country) and I like wearing feminine clothing from time to time. It's considered an absolutely horrendous to this conservative society, but I don't like hiding and deceiving, I like to be free, spontaneous and honest to myself and to the world, even though I end up getting hurt by society every time. I've seen a short clip come by with a guy who wanted to wear a dress to make a statement and then looked at himself in the mirror and just loved the look, he was so happy to see himself and think he looked good. :D It was amazing. :)
So true, some people get extremely triggered by men wearing women'sclothes. When my son was a newborn I put him in his big sister's winter jacket, which was very pale pink. It was a jacket for 0-3 month olds and very warm for our harsh winter. I preferred to use what I had than buy a new one for no good reason. The amount of negative remarks I got was unreal. Some were almost calling it child abuse. It was so strange to me how emotional it made some people...because of a colour. Needless to say my son has been unharmed by this event and is now sporting his dinosaur clothes of choice.
Yeah it’s crazy to me. My son is into princesses and sparkly shirts. He always wears this blue long sleeve shirt with Elsa on it and it has like some blue glitter stuff on the sleeves. It’s pretty cool.
Seriously! Like a BABY does not care about what color their clothes are they can't even SEE colour that well yet!😂 Also if you have baby clothes especially those that tend to be more expensive like winter jackets/coats, or even like blankets, car seats, baby carriers or STH that are still perfectly wearable/usable (which is highly likely because damn babies grow FAST like you barely get to put them in the same outfit twice wth slow down) then why not use it?????

The biggest problem is that a dress or a skirt is perceived as feminine. It is just a piece of clothing. Just because a man wears a dress/skirt doesn't necessarily makes him feminine. Not to mention that men wearing dresses is still normal in so many countries around the world, and if we look into history - for the majority of it men were wearing dresses or garments that would be considered "feminine" today. I wish we could see dresses/skirts becoming a normal part of the men's fashion and could be bought in every clothing store. It is already in place for women - we can all buy pants, oversized shirts, T-shirts, blazers and so on. People should wear whatever they want to, without feeling afraid. I love your videos btw! :)

“The war on masculinity” has got to be the most reactionary statement I’ve ever heard
That’s horrible! I hope you’re better 🥰
Yeah it’s crazy to me. My son is into princesses and sparkly shirts. He always wears this blue long sleeve shirt with Elsa on it and it has like some blue glitter stuff on the sleeves. It’s pretty cool.
Seriously! Like a BABY does not care about what color their clothes are they can't even SEE colour that well yet!😂
Also if you have baby clothes especially those that tend to be more expensive like winter jackets/coats, or even like blankets, car seats, baby carriers or STH that are still perfectly wearable/usable (which is highly likely because damn babies grow FAST like you barely get to put them in the same outfit twice wth slow down) then why not use it?????
I get triggered if it's hot in the winter time, but ehst can you do?

the guy: I'm not attacking people of one sex who wear clothes of another sex
also this guy: - attacks a person of one sex for wearing clothes of another sex -
Proceeds to attack a whole city for doing this
Proceeds to demonise feminine traits in general

@@archer4424 he doesn't know if he gets paid. He literally doesn't know shit. I doubt all the people in Hollywood get paid to do this. And even if he did there's nothing wrong with normalising man wearing clothing that was actually made for them. It's just clothes and the way we view masculinity constantly changes so this is just another shift. Nobig deal.

exactly right!
My neighbor always ssays horrible things about men who "think they are women" or men who wear girl clothes. It always makes me so mad and I don't get why people have such a huge problem with it.
I appreciate cis men who challenge what maleness and femaleness is.. I love it.
These cis men help contribute to the conversation on trans and cis/ipso aesthetics..

manly is the confidence they have to be wearing a dress-
agreed
These men aren’t selling them selfs for anything, their saying it’s ok to wear what you want and feel comfortable with your self and to be what you want..
I agree. Clothing is just cloth, it shouldn't have to be associated with femininity or masculinity.
He looks better in a dress then I will ever look

As a feminist I think we should really support men like him, because lets face it the real reason ppl get so mad when men do it is because they think being feminine is degrading. until then we still have to fight that being feminine is ok so that being a woman wouldn't be considered degrading
i can't believe this man just called Kurt Cobain a troll for saying he was comfy in a floral dress 😐 like does this man hear himself
The guy is experiencing cognitive dissonance because his dislike of men wearing dresses, and his (I'm assuming) respect for Kurt Cobain don't combine well in his mind.
@@KarlSnarks Agreed
Anybody who talks like that about kurt is a fucking troll
My dad (an older, and very typically masculine guy) asked me to paint his nails. He loved it and the whole family thought it looked cool! But he took off the nail polish before monday and told me it was because he didn't want to be embarrassed at work, and it honestly hurt my heart. It is way past time we stop shaming people for expressing themselves, I think Kid Cudi is helping set a good example.
When I was 8 my dad took me to work. It was a slow day, so I ended up sitting under his desk painting his toe nails.
He was wearing sandal type shoes (not a native english speaker, no idea what they're called) and everyone saw the dark blue nail polish. He got a lot of compliments for it and so did I, because i did a good job painting them...
Ah yes... the days before my father lost his mind and became a sexist, LGBTQ+ phobic fool...
It’s against the dress code for boys to paint their nails at my school- (and not girls)
@@cornybram845 they check people's the nails? Creepy.
Paint his toe nails!
@@sisuguillam5109 it’s a very small class, and the kid who did it was the teacher’s son, so it was easy for her to tell and she made him stay home. (don’t tell but I was the one who gave him the nail polish-)
When I was little I remember seeing an episode of deal or no deal where a prize was a dress and the contestant was a guy. Everyone was laughing and I didn't understand why. My mom explained to me that guys don't usually wear dresses and giving him a dress was silly. I never heard that guys couldn't wear dresses until then, I just knew that not a lot did.

I do not understand why these people feel so threatened by a man wearing a dress and they claim that now every man *has* to wear a dress but that's not the point, that's literally the opposite of the point. They are the ones who are forcing their beliefs onto others by saying what is and isn't a man and get so offended when people don't follow those made up rules. Like get a life and mind your business

“im comfortable in floral patterns”
“HAHSHAHDA YOURE TROLLING”
the logic he uses is making me lose brain cells
I'm a man and don't wear dresses because I simply find them kind of repulsive on myself, I almost get a panic attack.
But I find a lot of people attractive who wear dresses, no matter what gender they are, and everyone is allowed to wear what they want.
that's valid. don't force yourself to wear something that makes you uncomfortable.
Feel you.Im a transman and I always get very dysphoric wearing woman’s clothing but I think boys in dresses are cute.Just wear whatever you want.
I'm a girl and I feel weird in dresses. Leather jackets on the other hand...
100% valid. i feel like the whole point of *insert any word* positivity is the option to do something and taking away the negative connotation to things things.
You're not making much sense here body
I laughed when he said 'Hollywood is weird' but SNL is shot in NY.
Also, I'm still unsure why people were bothered. Not like Kudi was trying to force THEM to wear dresses too. Mind your own damn business and leave the dude alone.
As a guy who enjoys skirts and traditionally feminine stuff, it's nice to see there's someone like you defending us. :)
“Kid Cudi wearing a dress on SNL is why I don’t like Hollywood.”
But SNL is filmed in New York City.

Did you know that men used to be the ones wearing dresses, skirts, and makeup? How the tables have turned-
And don't forget the fact high heels were invented by men for men! The ultimate symbol of masculinity
Fr like ppl take femininity and masculinity so seriously it all changes over time how about we wear and do wtf we want
I mean if they want to go back the olden days of being a manly man, they should look at history's fashion.
Men wore dresses and "girly" things (designed to fit/tailor them)
Here are some youtubers who made a video about this/touched on the subject: Abby cox, Karolina Żebrowska and more
Ok but why does Kid Cudi pull off that dress so much better than I ever could?!?!
