I’m loving this machine so far. Good explanations about trying out tension adjustments first with industrial. I didn’t know you could move the plate over to get to the bobbin from the top, I’d been tilting the whole machine back
Hi, FYI, you don't have this machine threaded correctly. I see at 5:22 you don't have the thread passing through the "pig tail" (curled metal spiral) of the bobbin tensioner. It's supposed to go through that pig tail either when using the a cone or spool of thread. See Sailrite's video "How to Thread Your Ultrafeed Machine - It’s Easy!" to see. Also, at 5:36 you should always spin the balance TOWARDS you, not away from you to manipulate the needle.
Just saw you the other day on HSN. You are a great teacher. Love your videos.
@@glennriddle285 aww thank you so much for watching on HSN and following me here. Happy to have you!
I’m seriously obsessed with this machine. I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do 🫣
@@LindsHandmadeDesigns I know right!! Can’t wait to sew on it again!
Thank you for this instructional video! This machine will be on my Christmas list this year. 55lb sounds like my normal travel suitcase weight 😂
@@Kelly-to6pl 🤣🤣 that’s so true. My suitcase is always 50lbs! Lol

@@McClosss I’m glad you are enjoying your machine and learned something new! Just keep sewing! 🧵
I have the blue drako "kaboom💥".

Do you have to oil this machine?
@@Kelly-to6pl yes just like any machine especially industrial machines they do require oil to keep running smoothly.
