I’m loving this machine so far. Good explanations about trying out tension adjustments first with industrial. I didn’t know you could move the plate over to get to the bobbin from the top, I’d been tilting the whole machine back

One thing that intimidates me about quilts is how large they are. I find it difficult to manipulate the fabric the way I want. I’ve tried laying fabric out on the floor but it’s still difficult to get everything lined up. It’s probably something I just need to get used to or practice a lot

Oh I meant to ask. I noticed that my sweatshirt has a cuff that looks like it was attached with a flatlocking stitch. Is that a common use for that stitch as well?
