Special credit to the people we always forget : Nic Hard ( engineering) & Dave Mc Nair (Mastering)
Recording & mixing 3 OUTSTANDING drummers is not easy.
YES ABSOLUTELY must take ages to mix and master these tracks
yes the mixing was awesome.
Those are real heroes for me.
Thank you bob
That's why they didn't hire Nic Easy
"Hey so what kind of effects did you guys want on the music video?"
Michael: Yes
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I don't get it but somehow it's still funny to me 😂
You heard it hear 1st people.
Best comment 😂
Every one of possible effects fam
Larnell Lewis shooting lasers out of his eyes is the highlight of my day
True! Hahahaha
haha. Yep. We always knew his powers would develop eventually.

@@DOComposer develop?! I hope you mean he'd finally lose control and they'd manifest haha
i fuckin busted out laughin right then hahah
The bass player is in another LEAGUE.
I hope not, that´d be incest....
The most underrated comment ever😂😂

Justification for Higher Education Berkley Boys all of them Studio Accomplished Dudes ACE s And Masters of their Instruments AWESOME TUNE Mega GROOVE !!!!
BTW: I do believe this is their first ever music video to not be live studio cams, and can we just say that Michaël Alcaras & Stella K blew it out of the water, very well matching the tone of each section to its respective backdrop (dancefloor, void, city bus, space, etc.).
They messed up the sax. That wasn't an alto solo.
Peyton Mansfield nice

I presented this video in my classroom for young children (7 years old) and they loved it. It's a great video to present instruments to kids. Thanks!
Michael and others actually will go to classes to give kids( and adults ) special first hand music instructions
Has to be one of the best edited and animated music videos out there
You should check out their friend Jacob Collier his videos are CRAZY
you should check out - "Bonobo : Cirrus" or "Bloc Party - Ratchet" both done by Cyriak ! :D
Amazing what you can do with Adobe After Effects
Can't be wrong! is this pop art?
And finally every FX is perfectly synchronized with every note played! This is RARE in vidéo clips! Congrats guys!
Snarky Puppy are like the bands from the 70s and 80s. 427 members in the band and they ALL are beasts!!!
Funny, and spot on!
I didn't know I could have a visual representation of what happens through your brain when you listen to Snarky Puppy
Absolutely great work that shows how your brain reacts to what your ears and your eyes send to it. And the whole stuff gets deep down into your heart!!!
when u buy photoshop premium for one day:
The fact that League's stank face was caught in animation makes this visually dynamic video all rhe more fascinating!
oh my god, michaels faces are LIFE!
I love this track. It's a modern Brecker Brothers tune. What's old is new again. This whole album is just pure brilliance.
Okay, so everybody knows that EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of this collaboration is INCREDIBLE... But glass shatter on the cymbal crash accent at 0:47 gets me every time haha. Fantastic job y'all!
And the laser eyes at 2:05 HAHAha!!!
I don't know what just happened, but I always knew deep down that Bob Reynolds was a zebra.
what an incredible job the artist did. months of work. ps, they cut ~1 min from my solo for the video. the album has it in full ;)
@@bobreynolds Looking forward to it! Dying for more
Thanks @@bobreynolds I wish I had enough time to draw the entire solo, which is awesome. Cheers !
No joke :))
Sounds like furry propaganga but ok
Got 3 seconds into the song, a grin spread across my face, and it never left...if anything it just got wider. Already hitting repeat!
Whoever did the animation is AN ABSOLUTE FREAKING GENIUS!!! 🔥🔥🔥
That part after 3:45 when the horns and keys hold the rythm while the drums take the lead. 🤩😍🤩😘🤌
Thank you for making the music that you make.
Ce clip de l'espace, incroyable
You guys barely showed the aux percussion. I heard some ripping conga/bongo licks. That would have been a fun animation.
This is still and will always be my immediate good mood.
Thank you Justin.
Thank you Puppies.
Bob Reynolds and Larnell Lewis are always a great combo.
OK. YOU. ARE. INSANE. INSANELY GOOD.
Tiens mais je ne savais pas que pv écoutait ce magnifique groupe !
Incroyable, pv nova qui écoute Snarky Puppy !
Bah dis donc PV, c'est que t'as des excellents goûts musicaux dis moi
But who is you? Lol they’re all phenomenal ❤️

why doesn't this have 1,000,000,000,000,000 likes????
It did, and then it returned to 0. True story.
You can ALWAYS count on Snarky Puppy! They have yet to let the people down!!!!
I received my copy of the new album today. On that album „Bad Kids To The Kids“ is the tune that reminds me the most of the catchy pieces I fell in love with with the music of Snarky Puppy.
By the way: Props to the Miles Davis‘ „So what“ variations rather at the end of the tune. 👍
I knew good music still exist
Wow Snarky Puppy, music videos takin a whole new turn for y’all!
Seeing the high-heels @3:08 was definitely a treat! This whole masterpiece is phenomenal, to expect anything less from Snarky Puppy would be uncivilized!!!
💜💜🐶
Anyone else noticed the high heels on 3:05?
BG Headbanger it’s called “when the rest of your section is tall and you have to preserve your trumpet ego somehow”
...which pffft I don’t relate to haha..aa...
Yass! Can we petition to get Justin to wear them at lives shows?
Then take a look at 00:20 ahah !
nice shoes jajajaja
goddamn, are they height shaming Justin Stanton :(
The way they animate Mark at 3:12 and the interaction with Michael is just so wholesome.
Michael you're amazing, thank you for persistance to bring amazing music to life. The visuals are smashing as well. Love from Bulgaria 👏👏👏❤️❤️👂
NORTH DOBRUJA E SROMANIA
Saw them live yesterday @ TivoliVredenburg Utrecht, what a treat, they we're sooooo awesome. Got to meet most of them afterwards and they all super nice.
Shout out to Jamison Ross you rock my man (super humble and nice dude)!!!
Started to see cause I love Snarky Puppy. Impressed by the video editing. I come back for the song that I love and the video. Quite sometime I can't enjoy such a great video and music together. Amazing job everyone. Wonderfull.
thanks !
Lingus is the best, but this one is beyond awesome! The whole package.....
Love that drum battle :D
So proud of my lil brutha Jason "JT" Thomas! Been watching this cat do this since he was about 3-4 years old..awesome!
Love this video!!! It reminds me of my childhood, the good ol’ 90’s but with a fresh touch of something! 🤙🏼🙌🏼🔥
The music video is flufking amazing!!
I love this because not only is it a good tune, it's a bit of a nod to their spectacular drummers.
absolutely one of the best music videos to be made
Discovered this band just yesterday and here is new stuff. Oh my :D
Dude you have to check all of their albums...they really are my favourite band of all time ...their tracks are just...wow...
@@SPEEDMANGREECE They're also my favorite band of all time! If you ever have the chance to see them live it's an amazing sight!
Just knowing that this type of music exists nowadays warms my heart, so i definetly will :D
Oh wow....you need to find a seat belt then because your ride is about to be LIT!!
Listen to all the music
Just saw them in Providence RI. This song is amazing live!!!
This is the most dope music video i've seen in a long time. I love the unique, artistic approach the director used to compliment the music.
Indeed!!! Out of this world!!🤗
I LOVE IT! Not only the music. This is a whole new world on video production. Thanks guys.
The Poppy just went and made yet another kickass number!
I have watched this 20 times, probably. New details to notice each and ever time. Genius in concept, music and animation.
This is like the best way of showing what is going through everyone's minds as they played this entire arrangement. It felt a bit weird, first, but it was easy getting to understand that this is just the visual representation of what everyone in that studio was feeling at the time! I love it!
This is the third song (to my knowledge) that Justin Stanton has wrote for SP. This, Gemini and Outlier, all mesmerizing pieces of music!
Ugh. Outlier is a masterpiece!!
Justin writes such cool pieces!!!
Don't forget "Mr. Montauk" on Ground UP
VERY NICE VIDEO n AWSOME MUSIC
1:42 is one of the tightest and spiciest fills ive ever heard. mans insane.
I know, man. Always thought that was Larnell until I watched the video again. Jamison Ross, GOD DAMN
@@TheTofso and the animation implies that the first two notes of the triplets were double-stroked on the left hand, but they're SO CLEAN. When i first heard the song I thought for sure it was alternating.
INSANE. i saw 12 times in a row.
Somebody tell Snarky Puppy to share the musical wealth!!! And stop finding all these talented drummer. Share the wealth!!! Lol. This song made me laugh, frown, dance, and rock out. Love these guys!!!
I'm really high right now and my brain wasn't ready for what just happened
Me too brother try it with "Soul Assassin OG" they are perfectly matched...lol
When I started the video I thought it was an ad. I was like "Oh that's kinda cool... what are they advertising?" Funky fresh beats. That's what's being advertised!
A real PUPPY is popping out with 'uh' sound at 0:00.
Very good and happy we all are.
Whoahhh! Horns in space at 4:25. And there goes a lovely upholstered red chair. Anyone else channelling the fabulous One Size Fits All album from Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention? Frank would have heartily endorsed the Pup.
Mike is such an inspiration, can't wait for the Belgrade gig. Greetings from Serbia to all music lovers!!!!!!
Extraordinário, fenomenal, sensacional!!
Man, I long for the day I get to see these kats perform, Live!! I pray that is will be Soon!!
so good 😭
yeay ketemu om paul 😭
Snarky Puppy still got it
loved the blue stuff shooting out of the sax, it was a really nice visualisation of the music
Yeah! Really gets me on the Mood for the sax solo and all those notes
Louis Cole's ion trails brought me here. You kids are making some righteous music. You give an old boomer hope for the future.
Fun fact: This video took 2 computers to upload. The first, was unable to fully process the genius of this masterpiece and caught afire during 3:01 of upload .
@@31213121 Hahahaha
Now this is real metal
Making music for the love of music is a beautiful thing. And that's awl ah have t'say about that.
my boy Jamison Ross oozes love and gratitude, man! Role model material right there. Oh my... that drum break was sizzling!
That REX t-shirt is sick. Toronto Represent!
One of my favourite music videos ever, because of both the music and the animation.
Every bit of animation adds so much meaning to every note, but that crack in the background at 0:47 caused by the drummer hitting the cymbal stack is POWERFUL.
agree
The Holy Trinity of drumming 😮 kudos to Stanton for writing such a cool theme for them to play around.
* chef-kiss-hand motion * 👌🏽
God on the drums.
Oooooh someone's been hanging out with Knower! Love the vibes
The music of the future for sure
I started out not liking this as I much prefer to just watch you guys play. The more I watched, the better I liked it. VERY cool animation.
Like everything related to them. They always do different stuff, stuff we don't expect, and we always think "oh shit, this is do different, bring the old SP back!" but then it grows like a disease the more you hear it! This is exactly why I love listening to Snarky Puppy so much
gabriel casagrande couldn’t Agee more.
As an artist I liked it from the start.
The video and the musicians are both equally amazing
Helga: "MOVE IT FOOTBALL HEAD!!!"
Three of the hottest drummers around.....Jamison Ross, Bob Reynolds, Larnell Lewis, as James Brown famously said, “give the drummer some”
There isn't a single thing about this that hasn't got me excited like a housewife with a Clooney movie, but 1:20 made me stank face so hard that it's currently threatening to emigrate to Switzerland.
Something about this video is very 90s to me...and I like it!
there're just so much juicy funny details in this video... 3:08 is that a pair of high-heels?
And did anyone notice the ski boots at 0:21 ?
It really is.
It’s probably an inside joke of some sort 😂
@@guyelmouchnino6531 I noticed the heels, but not the boots! Nice spot :D
Fantastic video! And three drummers on one track? Damn.
No one other than King Crimson can make 3 drummers work... oh...
This is so hip, fresh and just flows. These guys are AMAZING!! What a groove!!! Love this band and amazing tune!!! Killer stuff!!!
2:56 is there. green reflections. on Mike's bass ? This is so thoughtfully well-made! Thank you!
This track is smacking!!! The snare is literally perfect.
Also, love the fact that the brass teases out the groove for the vamp (I guess?) at 1:20.
Absolutely legendary. Only one small detail is that all the saxophonists were playing tenor, not alto as depicted in the animation (unless a new alto player has joined Snarky Puppy).
BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER! Thanks guys. Writing 3 days late.
1:44 Yep, it's big brain time.
Woooow it's perfect I love you guys !!!
This has to be the soundtrack of the (not yet announced) Cowboy Bebop.
Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop is a thing now, so they may getting the OG Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts to make the soundtracks and scores.. or a substitute which in that case Snarky Puppy with Metropole Orkest would be a very very good combo for that :-)
P.S. : A bit disappointed that Keanu didn't play as Spike though.
0:45 that drum fill knocks me! So simple, so groovy.
Michaël Alcaras is the creator of the animations and is also an excellent drummer.
waking life vibes on the visuals
Snarky Puppy apparently enslaving drummers.
bruh
Too bad it wasnt keyboardists as well, they lost a Cory Henry it seems
Kyle Kovatch I’ve been meaning to ask. What happened to Cory? He was an awesome keyboardist!
Don't bring this mess of a comment to Snarky Puppy
@@RaySpartan315 I'm guessing he went to focus on solo projects. You should really see his live shows, they're great.
I love everything about this
