That feeling when you let that energy consume you and posses you. The goose bumps and being able feel the air come in your lungs as if its the first time you took a breath.
12:32......the bass run is genius. Mike doesn't get enough credit, but he's the mastermind behind most of this. Him and Cory flowing off of each other is unreal!
WOW!! Cory is like, “Nah, I don’t wanna take no solo! Nah...Nah go ahead, I’m cool. What? Oh, so y’all gonna keep at me to take a solo? Well fine. You asked for a solo, here’s your solo...hope you’re ready!!!”
Hell yeah. I thought the upbeat organ solo on the cd version was bananas, but this one was like bananas, coconuts and every other damn fruit in the world.
Sput, Justin, Michael and Cory are getting lots of - very deserved - love here, but can we take a moment to appreciate Mark Lettieri? He was playing some seriously funky stuff.
What I love about this is - aside from Snarky, especially Cory Henry and Sput of course - the way it's filmed. Beautiful. I want the guy that filmed this to film everything - every gig I go to - and could he please go back in time and film some gigs I have been to in the past 30 years, including Miles Davis in the 1980s, the Brecker Brothers, Dean Brown (with Dennis Chambers and Bobby Sparks) I just love the way it's filmed. Tremendous sound too, absolutely great capturing of Cory and his sheer genius and also really captures the overall spirit of Snarky so well. Just love it. Thanks ever so much for filming this so beautifully. wonderful work. Please keep it up. Love it.
Man...Whoa! Thank you so much for the kind words Fencemaster! I really appreciate that! Yeah man, I wish I could go back in time to capture better videos to watch today. Its ironic that you mention this because that is my intent so that cats like us 30 years from now will have decent videos to reflect back on. Thanks again for the motivation!
I agree 100%! It looks super professional. I can’t help but wonder how the sound would’ve been better if you had stood more towards the back. Maybe it would’ve been a better balance between all the instruments. But then it probably wouldn’t have looked as good as it did. I apologize if I sound negative or overly critical.
After watching from beginning to end, I think this thing sounds just fine the way it is. And you caught some amazing performances up close and personal. I got to see Snarky Puppy in Nashville a few years ago, right after Culcha Vulcha came out. Larnell Lewis was the drummer that night. Shaun Martin was there but no Cory. I got to meet Shaun in between the early set and the late set. I told him how I wished I could be there for the late set and he replied, “Yeah I wish you could too because it’s gonna get worser.” HA! I kid not. That’s what he said.
Love this song! This trumpet solo reminds me Claudio Roditti style, no high register needed (screaming trumpet), just melody and heart. Bravo for the Trumpet player!
What they did at 12:18 should be illegal... Dammit... That organ solo was like baptist and apostolic church had a baby with Bernie Worrell and that baby had a baby with Chester Thompson and Gregg Rolie's baby.
That feeling when you let that energy consume you and posses you. The goose bumps and being able feel the air come in your lungs as if its the first time you took a breath.
Sput's fill at 5:58 ended life.
And those people in the audience were ridiculously lucky to witness that live. Oh my word.
+Akil Henry Some had no clue... To busy talking... What a shame...Fortunately I captured this!
Dude, I rewound that fill until I stopped getting the chills (about 20x). Other-worldly.
Even Cory Henry's head asplode.
*created
*Wipes up the tears*
The awestruck gazes from other band members during solos makes the video so worth watching!
09:59 "He's not human" We all know, man! We all know!
12:32......the bass run is genius. Mike doesn't get enough credit, but he's the mastermind behind most of this. Him and Cory flowing off of each other is unreal!
Right?! I'm creaming over everything he's playing under Cory
I got my 2 yrs old son hooked to Snarky. Freggin' awesome!
WOW!! Cory is like, “Nah, I don’t wanna take no solo! Nah...Nah go ahead, I’m cool. What? Oh, so y’all gonna keep at me to take a solo? Well fine. You asked for a solo, here’s your solo...hope you’re ready!!!”

Sput, Justin, Michael and Cory are getting lots of - very deserved - love here, but can we take a moment to appreciate Mark Lettieri? He was playing some seriously funky stuff.

Micheal, Cory and Sput went OFF! This is awesome.
What I love about this is - aside from Snarky, especially Cory Henry and Sput of course - the way it's filmed. Beautiful.

Listening to the audience is killing me! Loooool! Or should I say, the congregation...
