Wow they got the VOD up quickly! Thanks everyone for the positive comments, glad you enjoyed the run! GDQs have always been such a blast for me and I look forward to hopefully running many more in the future! Maybe some Nightmare or Hell runs in the future or maybe even something like Starcraft?? who knows!?

Sorry to hear. Yes the joke was supposed to be setup as follows:
Talk about brother. Talk about work he has done in other countries to make people think this story relates to doctors with out borders. Then start talking about other brotherly things so it is less about the aid and more about the brother but not enough to give it away. Then i mention doctors without brothers and finish it off with discussion about how great it is they are supporting those doctors who never got to have a brother. Then cutting it with a quick "uh huh...borders? Oh nvm then."
So the joke was just meant to be about me misunderstanding the name of the charity and me coming up with a whole story without even researching what charity i was running for. Just a play on myself really! Not trying to disrespect anyone :)

Yeah and it's also a ton easier to play in single player than multiplayer solo, because firstly the map stays with you forever, so after save & exiting you will still see it, whilst in multi it will generate a new map and erase your minimap, and in singleplayer you no longer have the super annoying bad net code problems such as hitting a monster 5 times with Smite resulting in no hits because the monster is not actually there or you aren't which happens ALL THE TIME, if you aren't hitting monsters you must move yourself, or not poping up NPC windows also, move back where you came and repeat etc.
This run would take like 30 minutes longer in multiplayer if not longer if you die due to desync.
who cares. why would you even speedrun in multiplayer, lol

I don't really know what time of the day this was done, but I'm presuming it was probably at a pretty early or late portion of the day (assuming late) and I just wanted to shout out the guys who take on the less crowded and less popular slots and showing their willingness to support the cause regardless. Always think that's awesome...

mrllama is great at explaining things, it's somewhat impressive how he'll start explaining something, have to focus on the game or even explain some other mechanic, then 5-10 minutes later come back to it without having forgotten at all

Played this game for many years, still hard for me to believe anyone at this low level with garbage gear can survive even Normal endgame. Very impressive.

Hello, I was hoping I could get some help in how to get more stash space and I see others with getting runes but I haven’t seen one yet in game, I have diablo 2 and lord of destruction. Thank you in advance:)

Is it optimal in most or all speedruns (solo runs, not just rushing on bnet) to do ancients at 20 (and/or at 40 and 60 in hell runs)? I'm guessing most characters don't want to solo baal at 61, but I guess at @MrLlamaSC's skill level, it might not be too sketchy to run around act 5 norm at 20 and 21?
Obviously killing the minimum number of mobs decreases the amount of time spent killing mobs, but I think you take more or longer mini-stuns (hit recovery) if monsters are higher level than you, and obviously you're squishier and do slower damage in the mandatory fights.
This build seems like it would overperform for quite awhile past your first Baal kill, so it makes sense that for a norm assassin run you might try to hit 20 right before Ancients and then kill the minimum number of mobs to finish, but I think other classes might really suck for Ancients and/or Baal at 20/21, with any build.
That first death in the middle of talking about not dying is another joke, right?
Oh, damn. I had never heard that backstory about the cow level with all the hints and such. I'd played all 3 games he mentioned back in their heyday, but I wasn't much of a forum rat when I was younger.

level 20 is minimum requirement for the ancients quest in act 5 which is mandatory to continue/finish the game
