Alright, I have pretty much made this whole set, thanks to these amazing tutorials and templates, and one thing I can say is this: everything else you could just get away with making it once and calling a good enough. If you have the resources you should definitely make more than one helmet. On my third helmet, I finally have one that looks personable and is very solid. Also, another tip, just with the templates in general go into the printer settings and scale things if the pieces come out not fitting right. My first helmet was the original size and it was too big to stay stationary on my head. I scaled the templates down to 90% of their size on my third one and now it fits me perfectly. For the rest of my armor, I have scaled it down to 75% - 90% depending on the piece (I am a small person lol) and the set is now very fitted and overall looks better on me and feels more comfortable to wear.

I want to buy the PDF but how will I know if the armor will actually fit me? I saw that you have it scaled to 2 default sizes but about how large are you or how large is the armor? I'm about 6'1", 165lbs, (186cm, 75kg)
Hey Andrew! One problem that I have encountered... Sometimes when I apply the hot glue and press it together, waiting then when I think its about done I release the pressure and it sometimes rips apart again causing it to be harder to glue again because of all the dried excess hot glue. Any way to fix that?
Andrew you might already know of us but there this group called the Mandalorian Mercs costume club we basically dress up like boba fett or jango fett; and go out to events. The reason I'm tell isn't to share this info but to see what style and look your armor would be. P.S. use PBC broad for this armor instead of EVA foam.
Sorry to ask but it’s about the pdf print outs. Are they printable on a standard 8x11 sheet of paper or do I have to use the 11x17 sized sheet instead?
will you be making a tutorial for basic clone trooper armor? If you do you can include both the phase one and two helmets because externally the body armor is the same so you be knocking out two birds with one stone.
The neck part you add at 4:00 came out much too long for me despite following the pattern exactly, not sure why. Currently building this right now so i hope i don't run into any more significant sizing errors
what do you think me life casted my head and then building my helmet on to that, would it possibly have a more rounded effect? If I wanted to start here but end with something hardened, what would I use? Do you think an odst helmet would be made of composite, polymer, or some metal? Would love to know your thoughts.

***** Ah, I don't use facebook, I wouldn't even know where to start there. I've only checked the 405th's fourms.
Thank you! This was EXTREMELY helpful
i love how you teach us i will sub but have to ask, why are you selling them if your showing us how to make it?
I want to buy the PDF but how will I know if the armor will actually fit me? I saw that you have it scaled to 2 default sizes but about how large are you or how large is the armor? I'm about 6'1", 165lbs, (186cm, 75kg)
I'm glad your back love your videos
How many total mats do you need to make for the full suit of armor
Mats are 2 by 2 feet right?
Hey Andrew! One problem that I have encountered... Sometimes when I apply the hot glue and press it together, waiting then when I think its about done I release the pressure and it sometimes rips apart again causing it to be harder to glue again because of all the dried excess hot glue. Any way to fix that?
Applying some water to the seam when its still hot is an excellent way to quick solidify the glue =) Saves all the waiting and holding the foam
If there was a super like button, I would hit that. Good job! Looks awesome!
The neck part you add at 4:00 came out much too long for me despite following the pattern exactly, not sure why. Currently building this right now so i hope i don't run into any more significant sizing errors
This is a great tutorial. I really wanna try this and it seems simple at least for the helmet
Definitely doing this in quarantine
This would be great for Halloween and for just playing outside with your friends but by god that'll take a long time to put on and take off
what do you think me life casted my head and then building my helmet on to that, would it possibly have a more rounded effect? If I wanted to start here but end with something hardened, what would I use? Do you think an odst helmet would be made of composite, polymer, or some metal? Would love to know your thoughts.
Thank you SO MUCH! I've been waiting for this forever!
How many square feet of foam is required for the whole set of armour?
Thanks man been wanting to make a sniper odst cosplay outfit and you've helped me thanks
Starting tomorrow, wish me luck
Edit: it turned out great!
Do you have pictures up? I'm planning on making mine, I have everything I just haven't started yet lol
Sorry no, it’s somewhere gathering dust in my garage
Can you make a video on what details you left out of this design that you put in your own suit. I've made an ODST helmet with pepakura, resin, bondo, and lots of sanding. Expensive as hell. Kinda like the eva foam idea
Is the foam supposed to really be hard to cut through or was it just the foam I was using
Just made the helmet today. Thanks bro.
