Dagoth Ur breaks down the Toughest Bosses in Skyrim. He is not happy with the fact that Karstaag made the return, but that he was just represented by some Dunmer that was not a serious challenge. The only difficulty i had with an elder scrolls antagonist was having to do battle with my lord Dagoth. I wept the entire time i struck against the Sixth House and the tribe unmourned

What if that’s what the Ebony Warrior wants you to do: trap his soul in the Soul Cairn, and then from there, find a way into Sovngarde. Since, he is essentially breaking into it somehow
It would be interesting if you can meet the Ebony warrior in the Soul Carim if you soultrap him on a black gem.
If we could his response would be like: "you know, fuck you." 😆
He would be a boss again, this time as a shade.

As always this honors the sixth house and the tribe unmourned, almost as much as recounting the events of the Hero of Kvatch’s time in the Shivering Isles during the Graymarch
1. Harkon actually scales with the player up to I think around LvL 65, much like Serana.
Which is really sad ehen you consider that Vyrthur, a mini boss, scales up to LvL 75. So, aside from Harkon's Vampire Lord abilities, he's technically not even the strongest boss fight in the DLC.
In fact, you could argue he's weaker than a Niggtmaster Vampire, who start spawning at LvL 60 and above. As they acrually have access to Expert level spells and can hit pretty hard.
So he's not even that much stronget than the standard Vampire enemirs you can encounter in the game.
Use *Supreme Harkon Reborn* to fix this travesty. It makes him tougher and gives him access to some high tear Frost Spells to supplement his arsenal.
2. Kaarstag is interesting. He's basically just a big wall of stats that summons ice wraiths and a ice storm to slowly widdle you down.
He's main strategy is to just brute force you to death in that small arena and, yeah, he's definetly the hardest boss in the game. And you even get the ability to summon him up to 3 times *total*
The only problem is that, if you've reached the point in the game where you've beaten Kaarstag, then there's literally nothing left in the game to challenge you enougg to bring out such a powerfull summon.
3. Alduin actually starts at a base LvL 10 and then scales to the player up to LvL 100. This is pretty standard since he is the main story boss and it makes sense that they'd make him reasonably moderate in difficulty.
My one issue tho is that, outside of that one creepy scenen where he waits for you in the fog, him summoning meteors and being immune to all damage wirhout Dragonrend, the whole thing is just a standard Dragon battle.
Not even that since you also have 3 immortal NPCs fighting with you, dishing out free damage
I highly reccomend *World Eater Beater* for anyone looking to make this fight better and more epic in scale.
4. Udafrykte is basically a suped up Troll. How hard the fight is depends on how mich of an inconveniance you find Trolls
5. Miraak scales with the player, but so that he is always about 15 LvLs above you up to LvL 150, which is pretty cool tbh
Miraak's boss fight is also cool in concept but lacking in execution.
He has a build that can counter almost anything the player chooses.
His sword drains stamina and his Robes explode for significant damage upon taking a hit, countering melee builds.
His Robes collectively absorb spells, making him tough against magic builds
And his staff can cover parts of the arena in tentacles and he has spells to hit from a distance, countering assasin/thief builds
And his Shouts are there for an added X factor
Again, in concept, this is cool. But lacking in execution.
For one, you'd expect an ancient Dragon Priest powerfull enough to split Solstheim from Skyrim's mainland to know more powerfull spells.
Literally the strongest spell in his entire arsenal is Chain Lightning.
Nightmaster Vampires can cast Ice Storm and Thunderbolt. You're telling me that, again, these generic enemies that spawn randomly in the world are more well equipped than a boss?
It also doesn't help that his health and stats aren't impressive at all. You can literally just power through him and the only reason the fight lasts as long as it does is cause of his scripted phases.
Reccomend *Supreme Miraak Reborn* , the chief thing it does is it actually gives Miraak access to all the same perks you have, while also boosting his overall durability.
*Complete Enemy Overhaul* should also give him access to more spells.
6. The Ebony Warrior, who is LvL 80, is basically the blueprint for how the game's humanoid enemies *should* have been balanced. The reason he is so tough, unlike every other enemy in the game (obviously not counting mods) is because he benefits from *tons* of high level perks, like the player, that make him a *beast.*
One in particular is a max level Heavy Armor perk that has a small chance to reflect all damage from an attack back at you and also has a perk that negates falling damage.
His AI is also pretty smart. He tries to launch you off the plateu with Unrelenting Force, uses potions frequently if he's about go down and his Grand Healing doesn't cut it, uses Ebonyflesh to boost his defense, blocks and tries to stun yoi as often as he can etc.
It actually feels like a frenzied fight against an opponent that's *trying to kill you!*
Ebony Warrior earned my respect, so I enchanted an Ebony blade with his soul in his honor.
Miraak is a buggy mess 😓
I find it very amusing that you felt the need to point out Karstaag being a wall of stats when that is all Skyrim enemies are. They can not be more because the combat system does not allow for more. The only difference is in whether they have some conditional buffs and fight melee or ranged. But the way you engage is in the end the same. Karstaag is only noteworthy for being an even bigger stat wall than everything else
Biggest issue I always had with Vyrthur was the environmental factor.
I wish Bethesda would've played out that scene a little differently or placed it better, but he's literally one Fus Ro Dah away from nonexistent 😅
Cheap way to beat him I know, but it's also kinda epic to blast him off the balcony 😅
Me, who jumped into Kaarstag’s throne and just spammed fire spells: Yeah, he’s a formidable foe.
Me who just killed him in 1 blow with my 4,000 damage bow and invisibility stealth after he was distracted by summons.
I used a specially Enchanted set of heavy armor. Not as easy, but way more dramatic.
I used marked for death spam, which makes him incredibly weak after a while.

They are only toughest bosses if you don't play as a Dunmer if you play as a dunmer you own them just like Jiub owned cliff racers glory to the 6th House Lord Dagoth !

Karstag is a tough fight if you didnt cheese your build or expected it.
Took me 4 tries with my ludicrous Andromeda Atronach + Wintersun Magnus mage, with the help of my trusty Become Ethereal spam strategy. He's tough as nails
necromancer beats him easy; just have him fight 2 beefed up thralls with fire enchanted weapons. stealth builds are hard to beat him with because he just kinda auto-finds you at the start of the fight, and he'll just run over to the stealth archers and BAM... He just needs to be distracted.
I think this entire video is a ploy and just a stealth archer complaceny video and I respect that so much

To be fair to alduin, its implied that he didnt actually know WHO in helgen was the dragonborn, just that the dragonborn WAS there. Sure, he figures it out if you take too long to escape, but that leads to your death anyways. Until then, he just has to guess which person is the dragonborn and try to wipe EVERYONE out to be safe. Which he... Actually does a pretty good job at. Out of the all the townsfolk, imperial soldiers, and prisoners at helgen: only about 8 people escape, INCLUDING yourself. Sure, he accidentally freed the dragonborn: but he didnt know that the person about to die was the dragonborn. Considering the circumstances, he probably just wanted to burn helgen and everyone in it to ash as fast as possible to remove the chance of the dragonborn stopping him. Why would he worry about what the people IN the town are doing? Plus, you gotta think: sure, the dragonborn DID escape and WAS the intercepted traveler, but what if he was one of the random gaurds? Then alduin would have killed the dragonborn at helgen and completed his mission completely unapposed. What were the odds that, out of the dozens and dozens of people in the town that COULD have been dragonborn, it just so happened to be that ONE prisoner who was about to be executed?
If anyone has a better idea for what alduin could have done with what he knew at the time, I'd love to hear it.

Why would Dagoth Ur be an antagonist? How can you make an antagonist of a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence.
Everyone knows the player character, the Nerevarine, was the antagonist of Morrowind. Dagoth Ur attempts to spare you not once, but twice, but the Nerevarine is so determined to kill his best friend that the game doesn’t even give you the option to join Dagoth Ur.

I think the Ebony Knight is an Orc like the ones you meet that want to die in battle instead slowly wasting away of old age.
As for Alduin. If he'd gone straight to Sovengarde right after Helgen and did his Black Soul Gem bit there instead of bringing dragons back to life then maybe he would have been a harder fight.

At lvl 80, with level 100 all combat skills & legendary sharpened dragon hammer, you can one-shot Ebony Knight

@ZakeandZach so I don't really have a problem with video adverts, but when your ad is literally over 25% of the entire video length, specifically its 27.85%, that's a little... egregious. if you're going to insert an advert that is one minute forty-five seconds, it would be more acceptable to make your video ten minutes long. that would make your ad time to content percentage to under 20%, specifically it would be 17.5%. the higher your advert to content percentage the more likely we, the audience, will feel like we are just watching an advert instead of your great content. this in turn will cause viewers to simply stop watching mid-advert, instead of waiting for the advert to end. i hope this helps.

The real toughest boss are the magic anomalies that always have an annoying amount of health no matter what level you are.
One of the only enemies that don’t have a level cap. The higher the level you are, they match it no matter how high it is.

Miraak does not honor The Sixth House and The Tribe Unmourned. Miraak wouldn’t die and froze in place, probably out of fear, the first time I fought him.
I had to look online to figure out how to beat him. I had beat him, or should have, but I had to pull my punches because I was killing him too fast. Miraak’s fight will not phase properly if you kill him too fast.
Lord Dagoth cannot be killed at all. How can you kill a god? He’s presumed dead, but that’s only because he technically wasn’t a god anymore.
