on your ball joint fork to keep it from ripping boot i take electrical tape and i wrap each fork with 3 layers of electrical tape or 1 layer of duck tape and if you rip the tape i just rip the one layer off and put a fresh layer.. i also had luck using plasti dip but the dip kind for tool handles and i dip it once let it get dry a little then I'll dip it again and let it sit till its definitely dry and ive found that works too.. i haven't ripped one in a good 5-6 yrs now and im replacing atleast 4 or 5 cars a month with them you just got to watch and repair them every now and then
