While everybody else is doing track specials, Corevettes going to mid engine, Porsches getiing crazy suspensions, you got Dodge just doing their thing and making everyone smile. The Challenger and Charger are literal proof that being fun matters more to people than stuffing every available piece of tech into a car and turning into a screen on wheels. I swear I'm going to own some kind of Mopar before I kick the bucket. They line up for him if they got the right car to show.
It’s an advertisement‼️ This is not a corrupt Auto Review Channel.
Fake Times
Probably the most authentic and real reactions of Jay in any of his test drive videos. Love it!!!!
I was gonna say the same thing! The way he laughs and smiles is just genuine!
Tim's passion and knowledge for the automotive world shines through in every word he speaks. It's incredibly refreshing to see a CEO who's not only focused on spreadsheets and numbers, but who genuinely loves the mechanics and thrill of these machines. Dodge has truly hit it out of the park with this one, and Tim's leadership is a big reason for that success. Hats off to Tim and the whole Dodge team for keeping the muscle car spirit alive and well.
Dodge smashed it out of the park with this thing.....an instant legend. 10 out of 10 🙌
Long after we're gone, this thing will be worth about half a billion dollars. Lol.
@@tonecapone8840 Now that is a long term investment.
Not a big fan of dodge products but I can sure respect and admire when it’s due. This Demon 170 is one of those times. What a smart and passionate CEO!
Yeah i hate dodge cars also in general i don’t like American cars but this car is impressive
Jay looked and sounded like every little kid giggling when he floored it. Love it! Reminnded me of riding in Dad's hot rods growing up begging to floor it. Dad would love today's muscle.
Glad too see you’re better after the injuries, Jay. This car is very slick.
I haven't seen Jay smile so much from pushing down on the accelerator in a long time, what a torque monster, way to go Dodge. I know that the times are changing with the internal combustion engine demise in the near future, but thanks Dodge for going out with one hell of a muscle car. BTW Jay next time make sure that you put on the 5 point harness... Stay safe.
This may indeed be the last of the (internal combustion) V-8 Interceptors! Hybrids and electrics will now take over... sadly.
I love that the CEO himself is here breaking down the ins and outs of this car to detailed and explained for even non car people to understand
Definitely a good final way to go out for the challenger always liked how instead of going lighter and sportier dodge just says add more power and make it stronger to handle it. Doesn't get much more muscle than that.
A CEO that sounds like the chief engineer of the car. Really a surprising thing to see. 👍
I've never seen Jay so full of joy and happiness, with a genuine smile while driving any car. Till i saw him drive this car.
hes done it with hundreds of cars.. F1 cars included
At the end of one hell of a legacy... Rest in piece Hemi. (1953-2023 - 70 years of high powered Mopar's)
The Hemi is not going away
@@2010drive Wait, what?
@@2010drive they are….. dodge will no longer continue gas powered engines
You forgot to mention the 30 plus years in between they didn't offer one.
@@dmcdannnell3069Nope. 1953 was the first Hemi ever, and I never skipped a year, so...
That little giggle when Jay steps on it from a stop is GENUINE PLEASURE on his part. My ‘73 Challenger (340) kind of gave me a similar reaction but by comparison it was NOTHING compared to the current Challengers. Fun at the time and if I had my hands on this car at 18 years old, I most certainly would NOT HAVE SURVIVED. I would have gone out with a huge grin tho’ !!!
Put a smile on my face seeing Jay smile that much
Thanks for coming by, Tim! Holy crap, that thing is bananas!! Cars like this are the reason that there are no Prius owners' "cars and coffee" groups. 😂 Thanks, Jay and Crew for another entertaining episode!✌️❤️🙂🇨🇦
Tim lies about everything, a real 🤡
I've never seen Jay laughing so much over a car. He really is a car nut in more ways than one. Send it Jay !
I just love to hear a CEO like Tim be passionate about the race car. He really knows what he's talking about. He's driven that car A LOT.
are you stupid??? he's letting stelantis KILL Dodge. no more ICE for Dodge. they are replacing them with batteries.
That's one car that I wish I could afford to buy as I'm a 60 year old man and on a very low fixed I. Jay Leno I love your beautiful car collection it is truly an amazing collection.
Me too... As far as limited income, that is. I'm 82 years old. The closest thing to a muscle car I had was a 1967 Oldsmobile 442 racing green convertible with white leather upholstery. Bought it in New Hampshire, drove it to San Jose and sold it at a considerable profit. Should never have sold it. It's be priceless now.
So iv've been following Jay's channel for ever and i have not seen him smile as much as he does driving this car.
I haven't seen Jay that excited by a new car in a long time. Great video Jay. Great car too
since 15 hellcat
The pure joy on Jay's face says it all!
Jay,
This is just one the reasons we love the show, your passion .. and what in-depth information you deliver to the audience..
Thank you..!
I love the fact that Tim is so knowledgeable and all for keeping the muscle car alive. We need more automotive CEOs like him.
"There is no substitution for immaturity". I believe that says it all. What a great episode.
Great video on an AMAZING CAR! Fun hang with Jay and everyone at the reveal, and thanks to Tim and the entire Dodge team for bringing us the most bas a$$ era of Mopar muscle to date! Tim is the real deal.... you can't find an auto CEO that's more of a car guy than him. And thanks for the shout out as well!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪💪💪
Loved the analogy! Perfectly explains the power of the 'instrument' and the talent needed to make it 'sing'. 👏
TIM LIES
@@devonp5079 Another one of your jealous comments, go watch a plaid video.
Very refreshing to see a CEO talking passionately about the tech details and not marketing blurb and corporate babble
The SRT is just the business, love it!
Fake Times. Tim Lies
I get such joy seeing Jay’s inner child giggle every time he gives it a little gas. How can you not smile when you see that.
Seeing Jay have this much fun made all of us have fun along with him.
Great video!
Tim seems like a good dude. I have liked all three times he has been on the show.
Tim is a 🤡
C'mon, it made Jay smile from ear to ear! The man owns or has driven so many cars and it makes him feel like a kid. I owned a 2020 Challenger Scat pack and had a blast, I can only imagine.
love that little giggle when he floors it !!!...wow...I remember from the '70's performance cars are dead!
The Jay giggle is the best. Amazing car, being a hard core Mopar guy I would sky dive to get one of these and for anyone that knows me Tim doesnt sky dive.
Wow. Engineering, fun, passion, everything you want. Thanks Jay
"There is no substitution for immaturity" - I agree 100% Jay 😂. I've never seen you this happy in any car! Love it!
The CEO makes this all so elementary..!!! I really enjoyed learning about the car and he made it all seem so thoughtful yet simple. Great at his job, BIG RESPECT
That car suits Jay like an old pair of jeans.
His chuckle when he kicks it is golden.
Stay golden, Ponyboy.
Incredible. When I was a ten year old sitting next to my Dad in his ‘69 Barracuda with a 340 cubic inch a ‘Cuda passed us. I asked my Dad what it was, he said “a Hemi”. Now Chrysler put out this.
I love that the CEO is so obviously knowledgeable himself ... and that he's so open about the importance of the car's management system.
That CEO sounds like a used car salesman, a real 🤡
Thank you, Jay. Seriously for all these videos. The time and effort you put into this (you can really tell the production is incredible) is inspiring given your level of success.
To see someone at your level really care about the passion for these vehicles is pretty cool. You have another level of appreciation for these machines that we all share so thank you again for taking us along for the ride and showing us all these awesome rides.
The dodge vs Camaro vs mustang competition will always be fascinating. Whether you agree with the new makes and models or not. All companies set the standard on American speed, that'll take your kids to school then have time to burn some tires before you get to work. I love it
It seems like Jay has been really enjoying a lot of cars in the past few videos. Good to see him laughing gleefully. And the CEO clearly loves this project too.
An apt tribute to the Dodge brothers. Best part this CEO didn't look or act like a CEO.
The CEO acted like a used car sales manager
While everybody else is doing track specials, Corevettes going to mid engine, Porsches getiing crazy suspensions, you got Dodge just doing their thing and making everyone smile.
The Challenger and Charger are literal proof that being fun matters more to people than stuffing every available piece of tech into a car and turning into a screen on wheels. I swear I'm going to own some kind of Mopar before I kick the bucket.
Other cars might be faster, corner better, or get amazing MPG, but none of them still have their heart, and Dodge still has theirs in spades :|
Tim's depth pf detailed engineering and manufacturing knowledge is very impressive.
Tim’s lies are very impressive. Sounds like a used car salesman. A real 🤡
Seeing Jay chuckle every time he presses the accelerator made my day!! What a great car and hats off to Dodge for doing this.
by the way my new motto is "there is no substitution for immaturity" thanks Jay!!!!
Thanks Jay. I have not watched a late night show since you have been gone, but I sure watch Jay Leno's Garage. Keep it going and please take care of yourself. May God continue to bless you.
I had the opportunity to see and touch this car and the thing that amazed me the most was that looks like any other challenger but when you pay attention to the details it literally blows your mind, what an amazing machine!!!!
Out of the three muscle's, the Challenger is the one that truly pays respect to the heritage of this car segment. So sad to say farewell to them😢
Straight line only speed? Yeah that’s their thing, definitely not turning
@@BlackRam17 Sound, torque, emotion. Go actually drive a powerful car before you knock it.
@@BlackRam17 this isn't the 70s
Say farewell to the globalist criminal cabal soon enough, and everyone will finally see what a lie it all was.
@@BlackRam17oh are you bandwagoning that idea too? The challenger is a monster on the track.
I am a GM guy and love the Camaros and Corvettes but still I think Dodge really made the whole world love them especially with that awesome Hellcat, really going to miss it and love to tell the tale about how awesome of a company they are
Last of its kind. What an incredible car. Love that you can adjust the torque curve on a 1000 hp blown alcohol motor with a screen. The last true detroit muscle car. Thanks tim.
An actual car guy as the CEO, no wonder their cars are so successful
The US car companies are putting car guys in charge. It’s great. They actually like driving cool cars.
Yeah the US has really improved the last 15 years. The days of Rodger Smith are over. 💪
*_Different product, but too bad Anheuser Busch/Bud Light didn't follow a similar strategy when they hired their current clueless executives. LOL_*
@@andyroid5028 Budlight has never been a good beer lol.
@Dane Edwards like most American cars....
Seeing Jay so giddy brought a hard smile to my face I couldn't get rid of. One of the rare episodes I wish would never end.
Jay does the best product launch videos. I love that the CEO is a car guy who understands physics. I hope it trickles down and Dodge & Jeep return to prominence.
“As long as the driver isn’t alcohol injected you’ll be fine” 😂
This CEO must be an engineer! What a pleasure to listen to someone in charge that actually knows his stuff.
Tim, is that you? ☝️
You’re a 🤡
He's originally a salesman, with a Batchelor of Business Administration. He's not an engineer. But he knows his stuff that's for sure.
@@sports2hedz542even more impressive if anything
@@michaelcole2571 Dodge actually has a good track record of CEOs who are also enthusiasts. When they branched out SRT as a separate brand they made Ralph Gilles CEO and he's also a huge car guy, he's actually been featured on throttle house with his retromodded 1970s Charger with a hellephant in it.
I fell in love with the Challenger ever since the 392 came out but this beast just made me crazy.Hats off to the Dodge team to create such a masterpiece.

This mans knowledge is so impressive, glad they sent him. Probably the best brand rep I've seen. Fn awesome. No wonder the car is so rad.
