Kate is known for re wearing a lot of her clothes, the clothing budget goes towards engagements, personal, under garments and nightwear. MM never re wore any of her outfits for engagements over the two years she was a working royal. If she had a stylist or listened to her stylist she probably would have had some amazing outfits. If I was a royal I’d be taking all the help I can get.
My feeling is that Meghan doesn't listen to anyone, especially a stylist. Her best looks are when she is not trying to be a trend setter or wear expensive clothing for the sake of wearing designer. When she actually followed the Queens rules, and did not make it about her and dressed appropriately for the occasion, she looked good. It is not about having the "perfect" body, but wearing the silhouette and fit that works for your body, and to wear it for the appropriate occasion.
It also doesn’t help when you’ve convinced yourself that you are a supermodel and therefore have the body of one when you actually have the body of SpongeBob…very different silhouettes..very different styles will work.

So true!!! You don't need to spend a lot of money to look good. I have 3 or 4 outfits that were over $150, but the rest of my clothes are relatively inexpensive, suited to my body shape, and most are separates that I can mix and match with other items. Even my accessories are inexpensive.....it's the way you put an outfit together that matters the most. I have a saying that I use a lot Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

I am not out on a witch hunt but I simply cannot explain why a person with millions of dollars at her disposal can make such huge mistakes when it comes to dressing herself. I find her an insult to every poor person on the streets who cannot afford a blanket or a pillow, let alone warm clothes. She insults the title she loves to use despite trying to inflict a lot of unnecessary pain and chaos on the British Royal Family. She insults the designers of the clothes she buys. Great point, so many of us have the excuse of not having the money or time for tailoring. She doesn't have that excuse. Also, I can't afford a stylist. I can watch videos like this but I don't have someone picking out items that would look best on me.

Michael, I agree - Also, the Christmas picture shows it all - Kate smiling in the red and green seasonal plaid, William dashing as always, with a tailored, clean look and then there's Harry with the pockets flaps askew and ruining the form and look of his coat, not to mention his sour look, and Meghan with that" poop" hat and mud-colored coat with the belt bunched, further accenting her wide middle.

Notice how she's less black in the oldest photo. She had caucasian on all her documents. After Harry, she became Black, and purchased a lot of Bronzer.
This is what proves to me that she genuinely does not look in a mirror before she leaves the house. Her staff might hate her but it clearly is not hard to sabotage her, if that is what they’re doing.
From the moment the engagement was announced, and her more official tie to the royal family was set, she was in clothing that not only did not suit her, but it looked as if she were wearing costumes. Nothing came across as comfortable, or genuine, and it showed. The other photos appear to be from before she became truly "known" and look like lower level attempts at fashion, attending the opening of envelopes whenever invited. That nobody who saw the price tag dangling off that red dress - before stepping out in public - TOLD HER, speaks volumes to me on how others thought of her, or how her interactions with other people went.
Good point re: the tag on the red dress - if I were one of her badly treated staff, I might have chosen not to say anything, not necessarily out of spite/malice, but more of tiredness having to deal with her outbursts.
As a boxy framed lady with broad shoulders, I'm BLOWN AWAY that this wealthy woman can't dress herself. I figured out, without knowing why, what cuts work and what doesn't. I have a curvier bottom and leg than her, and I'm proportioned opposite (long torso), but sleeve and neck cuts...it's so easy to just see when something looks unbalanced. She should really embrace a stylist, because she has no eye for it.
I get what you mean about figuring things out yourself. I never wear turtlenecks or even mocks. I found out why through Beebs videos, I have a short neck.

It looks like something you'd wear to lunch on a terrace by the Med (or anywhere). For Invictus, be bold if you want but just don't make your boobs the highlight of the outfit.

Hello from Michigan ... the giant pants in Germany was a look I wore in the late 70`s, with platforms. They visited following the OneYoungWorld guest speaker gig in Manchester,UK.....and I believe the 'real' purpose of being in Europe was an unreported afternoon they spent on an oligarch`s yacht [she`d feel right at home there, no doubt ] Thanks for a great video !
The Red Dress....could have worked BUT. It is too SMALL---just because a fabric has stretch in it, and you can get it on, does not mean that it fits! The dress was ;made for a longer torso and slimmer middle than Meghan has. (The irony of so much of what doesn't work for Meghan works perfectly on Catherine, who also has a somewhat unconventional figure, which because she is so very slender and tall wears more clothes brilliantly. If you look at the closeup of the red dress it is clearly pulling up....the belt has ridden up to just under Meghan's waist.. and that is because the dress is too tight across Meghan's middle. Vertical tucks are visible in the dress as well as pleats that open very low on Meghans frame (despite the dress having ridden up so much....), The tucks perhaps could have been opened j; a bit to make the dress not ride up, and the pleats could have been opened further up on her torso so the pleats opened not so far down. The pleats should have opened higher.... I am from the era when girls learned to sew and do traditional dressmaking....and that has been invaluable in getting the best fit for me...(I am slender but have a short torso and long legs...). I have also used this knowledge for decades of advising fittings of wedding, debutante, and day or evening dresses for family and friends. Young girls today often don't know how to dress themselves appropriately and flatteringly in traditional clothing because they have so little experience...then they wonder why as young adults selecting the right clothing for professional or social life becomes so difficult unless they have near perfect weight and proportions... (And of course girls are much heavier today than they were in the 1950's to 1970's.)
IMO MM sees an outfit that she likes and decides to wear it. She doesn’t try it on or think how it will look on her. And bc she is a narcissist, she doesn’t accept constructive criticism & 99% of the time looks disheveled or just plain silly.

4:23 THAT event was appearing in Europe something to do with the Invictus games, disabled veterans. They actually treated them as Royals. See the roped off area? So makes that outfit even worse. Many veterans complained that she was dressed so inappropriately.
The whole outfit was a crumpled mess. It bunched up around the widest part of her. I thought the colour mix was awful along with the over use of spray tan.
This is what happens when you can't accept reality. She believes she's tall and skinny when she's medium height and boxy. Especially the beige clown pants in Germany were hideous.

Love these vids. Could you do some on Princess Catherine? She always looks great and even if I don't love her outfit (which is usually due to what the royal occasion requires) the fit is always impeccable. Would love to see some examples of what she does to show off her athletic and lean look.

I know that Megan is naturally the focus when talking about fashion but I would like to see you do a video on Harry. He always seems to look just as messy as his wife. Dirty shoes wrinkled shirts and jackets and dreadful colour choices. William always looks well turned out by comparison.

I don’t actually mind a leather jacket over a dress. But not a pleated dress, ever. And you have to put your arms in the sleeves and wear it. And I absolutely hate when she wears an all black outfit with nude heels. No!!! Black dress, black jacket, black heels. I also hate her strapless bra looks with the fake tan. And I hate the massive pants with the sleeveless tank top. Say those words together- giant shapeless pants….. sleeveless turtleneck. Absolutely never. And it makes sense when you hear that she decided to meet her Royal in-laws wearing ripped jeans and no shoes. You can find a homeless woman in ripped jeans and no shoes at any gas station in Florida. I dressed up to meet my ex-boyfriend’s mom, and I didn’t even plan to marry him. I swear she does things like that on purpose, so she can talk about how “silly” it was later.
I remember the moto jacket and dress thing being like a mix feminine with masculine vibe and I always associated the jacket over the shoulder as like a rich people thing you saw online but thats something I have never seen done in real life. I think she tried everything she associates with wealthy people style and missed all the marks. She reminds me of my middle school years trying every style to see what works but she is way past that age.

Many of her outfits just look off to the untrained eye & I like how you explain why. Every so often I see the puddling pants, (not a fan of puddling draperies either) & I think how terribly uncomfortable that must be to have the fabric dragging as you walk. Sometimes her outfits, like that one, seem to be trying for some California cool vibes which isn't appropriate for the ocassion. The beige & brown outfit is just giving the middle finger to royal protocol, I'll do what I want & wear what I want, when I want. A little fashion temper tantrum. Also, imo the red dress was not a good shade with her spray tan or bronzer. I think she could benefit from a stylist for guidance to dress her body type & dress appropriately for an occasion. Anybody who says shes a fashion icon must not know what that means.
Also you are of course right about the style, fit , and length of the white dress. But as a seamstress I know that if her tailor had enlarged the side front horizontal darts in the white dress this would have eliminated much or all of the puckering that Meghan has so often between her waist and her bust. Meghans waist is shorter than the where the dress is cut for the waist. Both a rounded and padded bra as well as side darts would help the pucker problem. Meghan reminds me of the nouveau riche girl who picks quantity over quality.... She would be better taking the time getting what she has to fit and flatter her, than buying more ill fitting and unflattering clothes. When she does that you never remember "how well the girl looks", just how bad the outfit looks!"
I’m sorry but I don’t think the white scooped out armscye turtleneck top is a good look for her wide shoulders. It’s her most cringe fashion moment for me. Her body type would look better in wide straps, like in the white sheath dress, which helps de-emphasize her wide shoulders and if she adds a V neck, it 14:42 would help elongate her torso more instead of a crew neck. She does need mid rise pants.
The wide trousers were awful. The red dress was really nice. The label IMO says she has no friends... a friend would have made sure the tag was removed. The black coat was ok but I agree the belt is just wrong. Black trousers are ok but the top is a mes. The white dress suits her but her pose/stand lets it down. And, the brown hat is awful along with her behaviour... Sticking her tongue out at well wishes
It was reported that the assistant given her by the Palace and that she forced out with bullying (the one that Jason Knauf referred to) was on the plane and didn't stop her walking out with the tag showing. Have to say, if I was being bullied by this pair, I would not have said anything either!!

This is what proves to me that she genuinely does not look in a mirror before she leaves the house. Her staff might hate her but it clearly is not hard to sabotage her, if that is what they’re doing.

From the moment the engagement was announced, and her more official tie to the royal family was set, she was in clothing that not only did not suit her, but it looked as if she were wearing costumes. Nothing came across as comfortable, or genuine, and it showed. The other photos appear to be from before she became truly "known" and look like lower level attempts at fashion, attending the opening of envelopes whenever invited. That nobody who saw the price tag dangling off that red dress - before stepping out in public - TOLD HER, speaks volumes to me on how others thought of her, or how her interactions with other people went.
Good point re: the tag on the red dress - if I were one of her badly treated staff, I might have chosen not to say anything, not necessarily out of spite/malice, but more of tiredness having to deal with her outbursts.

As a boxy framed lady with broad shoulders, I'm BLOWN AWAY that this wealthy woman can't dress herself. I figured out, without knowing why, what cuts work and what doesn't. I have a curvier bottom and leg than her, and I'm proportioned opposite (long torso), but sleeve and neck cuts...it's so easy to just see when something looks unbalanced. She should really embrace a stylist, because she has no eye for it.

The Red Dress....could have worked BUT. It is too SMALL---just because a fabric has stretch in it, and you can get it on, does not mean that it fits! The dress was ;made for a longer torso and slimmer middle than Meghan has. (The irony of so much of what doesn't work for Meghan works perfectly on Catherine, who also has a somewhat unconventional figure, which because she is so very slender and tall wears more clothes brilliantly. If you look at the closeup of the red dress it is clearly pulling up....the belt has ridden up to just under Meghan's waist.. and that is because the dress is too tight across Meghan's middle. Vertical tucks are visible in the dress as well as pleats that open very low on Meghans frame (despite the dress having ridden up so much....), The tucks perhaps could have been opened j; a bit to make the dress not ride up, and the pleats could have been opened further up on her torso so the pleats opened not so far down. The pleats should have opened higher....
I am from the era when girls learned to sew and do traditional dressmaking....and that has been invaluable in getting the best fit for me...(I am slender but have a short torso and long legs...). I have also used this knowledge for decades of advising fittings of wedding, debutante, and day or evening dresses for family and friends. Young girls today often don't know how to dress themselves appropriately and flatteringly in traditional clothing because they have so little experience...then they wonder why as young adults selecting the right clothing for professional or social life becomes so difficult unless they have near perfect weight and proportions... (And of course girls are much heavier today than they were in the 1950's to 1970's.)

I don’t actually mind a leather jacket over a dress. But not a pleated dress, ever. And you have to put your arms in the sleeves and wear it. And I absolutely hate when she wears an all black outfit with nude heels. No!!! Black dress, black jacket, black heels.

I remember the moto jacket and dress thing being like a mix feminine with masculine vibe and I always associated the jacket over the shoulder as like a rich people thing you saw online but thats something I have never seen done in real life. I think she tried everything she associates with wealthy people style and missed all the marks. She reminds me of my middle school years trying every style to see what works but she is way past that age.

Many of her outfits just look off to the untrained eye & I like how you explain why. Every so often I see the puddling pants, (not a fan of puddling draperies either) & I think how terribly uncomfortable that must be to have the fabric dragging as you walk. Sometimes her outfits, like that one, seem to be trying for some California cool vibes which isn't appropriate for the ocassion. The beige & brown outfit is just giving the middle finger to royal protocol, I'll do what I want & wear what I want, when I want. A little fashion temper tantrum. Also, imo the red dress was not a good shade with her spray tan or bronzer. I think she could benefit from a stylist for guidance to dress her body type & dress appropriately for an occasion. Anybody who says shes a fashion icon must not know what that means.

Also you are of course right about the style, fit , and length of the white dress. But as a seamstress I know that if her tailor had enlarged the side front horizontal darts in the white dress this would have eliminated much or all of the puckering that Meghan has so often between her waist and her bust. Meghans waist is shorter than the where the dress is cut for the waist. Both a rounded and padded bra as well as side darts would help the pucker problem. Meghan reminds me of the nouveau riche girl who picks quantity over quality.... She would be better taking the time getting what she has to fit and flatter her, than buying more ill fitting and unflattering clothes. When she does that you never remember "how well the girl looks", just how bad the outfit looks!"

I’m sorry but I don’t think the white scooped out armscye turtleneck top is a good look for her wide shoulders. It’s her most cringe fashion moment for me. Her body type would look better in wide straps, like in the white sheath dress, which helps de-emphasize her wide shoulders and if she adds a V neck, it 14:42 would help elongate her torso more instead of a crew neck. She does need mid rise pants.

The white halter top is inappropriate for a royal occasion, whatever it was. I really like how hard you try to be fair to her. And I continue to think that a lot of her problem is that she just is not able to put together a team that will help with planning, shopping, fittings and feed-back. She really does love belts, they must make her feel like she is creating a waist, but now that I have listened to you enough I recognize that they emphasize the boxy shape.
