We need an innocent bystander to yell "Jedi poodoo!" when the Jedi are making a mess
The word scum is used quite a bit by people who feel disdain towards someone or something. It was pretty clear Grievous wasn't the only one who has ever called Jedi a Jedi scum. His backstory was a prime example of the Jedi being sent under a false pretense to handle a matter that was escalated to the Republic via a FLIPPED script. A lot of cases, the Jedi are revered and respected across the galaxy but they are just as much are feared by the people because of what they are capable of.

You hear people say Scum all the time in Star Wars. Rebel Scum, Scum and Villainy, Jedi Scum, Sepretist Scum). Mae just called Jedi, Scum. It’s not like a saying or anything she just called them scum. Nothing to out of the ordinary.

The term isn’t exclusive to General Grievous. I believe Admiral Trench said it to Anakin when he was confronted by him during the Battle of Anaxes.
It now you see since the show is a hundred years before the prequels that means Greivous is the one who’s using the term Mae started :v

What I hate about what their doing is that they’re making everyone in the galaxy hate the Jedi. The people of the Jedi revered them. They thought them as honorable mythical protectors. Even up until the the Clone Wars. Jedi wouldn’t take children unless their parent permitted it, and those parents usually would. They were proud and honored to have a Jedi in the family. Those that disliked Jedi, not even hate, were usually the higher up, bureaucratic beings that were usually involved in things the Jedi wouldn’t disapprove of or fight against. Only in the later years of the Clone Wars did people begin to dislike the Jedi who were leading, to them, a pointless war. This was why they were so ready to believe that the Jedi turned against the Republic and attacked their Chancellor. They felt the Jedi were heading that way. But even still many loved the Jedi. Anakin and Obi Wan had celebrity status. Everything they’re doing with the Jedi in the Acolyte is so backwards.
The Trade Federation being aligned with the Republic at the time had to deal with Jedi on a daily basis and I can imagine while they are respected they are also feared. The thing is there are planets and systems with people that have had bad dealings with the Republic and the Republic sometimes sends Jedi as Ambassadors and in some cases things go poorly. The people from those systems much like Mae and Grievous would call the Jedi scum. Grievous's case was a horrible example of the Jedi being lead by to deal with a problem with a flipped truth.
You're not even trying to hide the click bait bullshit now. So many of these videos are just nothing. It's embarrassing.
