I think the point of this is when someone breaks into your car and is looking for valuables you could have stored in the glove box of center console maybe even the back of the sets. Things like the cup holder would generally be glossed over since the more time you spend in the car the more likely you are to be caught.

Buy plastic box with magnetic piece like ten dollar at DG put it under hood in a very obscure hidden place not seen must actually put hand into the darkness of your hot engine as rare they pop your hood to feel around. Yes can just slap it under your seat door open but mirrors or simply feeling for it easy to find but short of fender flares or literally under you most likely will not find under inspection of light or hand feeling again won't stop a dog alert but short of full search never had one of my stash boxes ever recoverd again put it in a hard to reach area in tight spaces helps a lot as if hard for you to get it knowing it's there rare random search even flashlight or mirrors will detect it

Not a horrible concept at all, but honestly, the execution could use a little more work. Not a bad piece of food for thought, though! Cool idea, but I'd use this concept not in the car. ^_^ Also, I'd say to attempt something that looks more seamless, as seams are what make a human go 'Hmm, what's this? That's not a secret compartment lol you could see it in a heartbeat. A real secret compartment is opening your glove box and take it off the stoppers then get a small push to open black box and glue or screw it to the top and put your compartment back in. That ladies and gents is a real secret compartment. And if you put a lock on it and lock your glove compartment that's 2 separate warrants to get to it if one was inclined to use it for illicit activities
