Not gonna lie, I wanna get this game solely because of how much I STILL love Looney Tunes B-Ball on SNES. This is about as close as I'll ever get to a rerelease of that game
😂then don’t this is for kids … especially when you can play 4 different games ! Never trust anyone with an accent…🙄this is getting bought for a 5 year old not a wine 15 year old!
I want to buy because i love Looney Tunes B-Ball (SNES) and Tiny Toon Adventures: ACME All-Stars (Genesis). I heard the Switch version has a lot of bugs, so i should wait a little more.
I shoulda known being a Gamemill game it would only be decent. Their games aren't bad but never do they shine. Questionable character control and lack of polish is their trademark. This is disappointing but slightly expected.
Yes that's very true. I guess because the ball isn't really an individual entity in the game world, instead it's simplified to stick to the players' feet. I played the new Mario Strikers, it's reviewed on my channel. Pretty good fun but needed more content. I expect it's got plenty more at this point but I sold my copy!
Is this an "remake" of the Looney Toons sports game lauch back in the days on Genesis Mega Drive? I know there are game modes missing but i can feel some nostalgic on that Basket and Football game modes there.
Not that I'm aware of, though I know a lot of people have find memories of Looney Tunes B-Ball on SNES, so I'm sure there's some element of recreating that here :)
Bought on release for another family game. 1. Golf is boring! At times it’s too long. 2. Needs a football game desperately. 3 basketball needs to move more fluidly, more animations and MORE CHAOS! Needs a run sprint and juke button. Better power ups. 4 tennis needs more chaos in the form of looney tune type distractions. Have npc run by, just weird things and should have had funny things drop from sky. 5. Soccer is pretty decent overall. Maybe needs power ups or better environments obstacles. 6 need Marvin the Martian playable and others. Need better arenas from looney tunes for the games.
Wow... you literally pointed out Daffy Duck doing his trademark teleport cartoon jumping as cartoon characters do for the sake of humor and you asked if it was a technical issue? Someone has clearly never seen an actual cartoon in his life.
@@the-NightStar Oh, you’re right, I meant to change that clip but forgot. That animation is indeed deliberately cartoony, I get it and I agree. But I believe the Roadrunner golfing clip also shows it. An editing mistake, I admit, but I noticed it a few times. EDIT: Also no need to be rude, I still quote from the Sylvester and Tweety VHS I had in 1990! Hyde and Go Tweet was my fave. “Tabasco sauce… what? No ketchup? Well, I suppose I’ll just have to eat you without keEEEETCH!!!”
when i saw the up coming of this game, my thought was... It gonna be bad, generic, or a decent game?... as it got like 4 different games in one, so maybe a mixed bag... Surprise there isn't any Space Jam outfits? old or new? not if it's hidden or dlc later on? and I can see not all characters didn't make it.
It will die out fast just for the simple fact they didnt put online multiplayer in the game which is sad because it looks like a fun and unique game just the one feature for it to have longevity was skipped over
Golf looks unecessary and out of place, should have added american football or something else. If they wanted some variety could have use some athletics, like long jump, pole vault, hurdles, shot put, relay race, etc. Golf is just not looney enough.
@@davidsentanu7836 I think golf was probably deemed simpler to understand for kids. I think Sylvester lining up for the fake field goal on 4th down might have been stretching it a bit! But yeah, the golf is too simplistic, definitely.
Game mill. And I've been looking at it and am also not impressed. Who in the world would make Yosemite Sam a DLC addition as a playable character for a game that is already far overpriced. Looney tunes was practically the biggest cartoon franchise from the 50s into the 60s when it went off the air until 2014 which has not competed with the classics in any form. It deserves a lot better as a game franchise and even as a cartoon franchise that should never have been dropped when parent groups complained about weapons being used. It was pure humor and it should have been made into an adult cartoon just so it would stay running.

I almost bought this game bc of that same reason. I loved that basketball game.
Same here
Acme All Stars Sega Genesis
Same
We really need the monstars in this from space jam. Then I'd buy it.
looks like a 20.00 game not 50.00 dollars which they are trying to charge. I will pick it up maybe when its on sale
@@gregknies7944 Yeah you’re absolutely right.
I agree $50 is pretty steep.
Honestly with 4 different sports I think that 30 is a respectable price
pirate it

How do you unlock other courses, stadiums, etc? Seems random and I can't seem to unlock many despite winning constantly.
Great review! Very balanced and well informed. Definitely want to give this one a try. Looks fun!
It’s a little sad that this exists when they made an incredible game in the 2000’s (Space Race)
On Dreamcast! Yeah I had that when I was at uni. Great game! I believe I finished it, I seem to remember the last couple of races being really tough.
looks like mobile game not sure why they didn't port it to mobile but it's available on Switch

What system does it run best on?
@@bozolozo21 I haven’t seen the others, but PS5 runs at 60fps so realistically that’s as good as it’ll get on console. Certainly doesn’t need 120fps!
This looks like it could have been amazing but, I'm sure its lack luster.
Why are you listing Mel Blanc not voicing the characters as a point? You realize he's been dead for 35 years, right?
@@the-NightStar Yes. But the voices don’t sound like I remember them from my childhood, and that’s worth mentioning.

Yosemite Sam without guns because it's a children's game.... Yosemite Sam is from a children's cartoon!!
