- After only one year the battery in our new Eureka Rapid Clean Pro vacuum would die after only 10 minutes. Sorry for the horrible audio quality. Will definitely remove phone from case next time.
I made this video while going through chemo, so please be kind, I know the quality is horrible lol.
Watch this video for how to replace the battery and where to get the replacement!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a detailed video. I am newly single and working to figure out all the things. I appreciate you for sure.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the info! Just bought via the affiliate link.
Thanks! Good luck with the fix! Should be a breeze!
Me too, thanks
Thanks for this informative video. Just ordered. Thought I was going to have to buy new vacuum. Looks so easy even a girl can do it.
Glad it was helpful!
Mine just quit suddenly after using 10 mins from full charge. would not turn on , I thought it might need recharging , but charger wouldn't light up charge lights to start charge ?
Hello! I bought a Eureka RapidClean Pro a few months ago, I've only used it 3 times. It won't take a charge. I've tried the multi-meter, got any ideas why it won't turn on? Thank you!
Hi there! I wish I could help. Unfortunately it sounds like it may be defective. I’d contact the manufacturer. Im sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
Need some help-we have one of these and when used they are great-ours is 3 years old and rarely used and always on the charger -I went to use it and not working-checked power outlet and power is good-could the battery be bad or the charger cord bad? any ideas?
Man! I hate that’s happening to you! If you have a multimeter you could verify the current output from the charger. If the charger is good, I could only assume it is the battery without looking or troubleshooting your device myself! Again, I’d hate for you to buy a battery and something with the trigger mechanism is wrong or otherwise. Good luck!
@@DaleDoesItAll thanks for the info -what voltage should I look for on that output? -the label says 25.2v Li-Ion I guess related to the battery-and how long will a battery like this last since I am thinking this may be 4 years old?
Great video, but I still can’t find the battery replacement for the NEC480
480? this vacuum is a 180 I believe.
@@DaleDoesItAll yeah sorry, I bought the Eureka Elevate cordless vacuum.
How was the battery life of the replacement battery ??
Maybe 20 mins? It’s still working great to this day.
What were the symptoms that led to replacing the battery?
Hi! The power would last only a minute or so before dying!
@PhoenixoftheMountain I see. My issue is different. It turns on, blinks 3 times, then shuts down.
Battery seems good. Motor spins right up with no impingements. I took the whole vacuum apart. Connected the battery, board, switches, and motor out of the casing and it does the same thing.
Of coarse it is 1 month out of warranty.
Make a video opening up where the brush roll is.
I probably should!
I just bought one and the charger won't stay charged
Same thing, and eureka doesn’t have any batteries available. I live in Hawai’i so we can get it out here…
I’m sorry to hear that! Hopefully you’ll find a battery solution soon!
Why does the battery go out so quick. I still need to replace it. But imma try to take it part like you but clean it and put it back together. If that doesn’t work out I’ll get get the battery. Thank you for your video
@@emenchhay6023 I'm not sure. I assume poor quality. Thankfully the replacement has lasted us a while now.
Thank you! I don't have to buy the whole thing.
Glad I could help!
the solution here can be buying better 18650 cells ! and fabricate your own battery pack as always those cheap battery pack come with cheap 18650 cells and when one of them is dying all the rest cant charge properly ! but you have to be good in diy repair and electronics :)
Interesting!
long way from an Apache.
