Drove the performance yesturday after driving the premium a week ago, same conclusion as you, flogged the premium and didn't with the performance mainly because of double demerits, and found the premium more comfy on low speed bumps. Was he turning off some safety things during the ride? To lessen the beeping? They shouldn't be doing it.
Not sure what all the fusses about. My car doesn’t beep either.
Hay Chris looking at the badge on the back it didn’t have the 3.8s did you drive the black one or a different performance one
Hi Tony, i drove the 3.8. As I said it was like driving a rocket not a car.
Hi Chris, I'm leaning towards the Premium rather than the Performance as the extra power will be wasted on me driving on public roads 100% of the time. My only concern is the clearance of the front bumper to the ground in my steep driveway. This will unfortunately be a deal breaker for me as obviously scraping the underside of the bumper is not acceptable. I drove the new M3 Highland RWD yesterday. Wow! it was nice to drive and had all the power I'd need (less I think than the Premium seal?) but as I said to the rather pushy Tesla saleswoman, I'm going to drive the Premium Seal before any further decisions. Most things on the M3 are software/screen controlled, such as frunk release and even the glovebox. It does have touch button pads on the roof for gear selection in case of a failure of the LCD screen. Good choice!
I'm still undecided on the indicator buttons on the wheel. I'm sure I'd get used to it... BUT! No HUD is a silly omission given no ancillary display in front of the driver, but not as big an issue as I thought it would be. As I'm sure the Seal is VERY quiet, the M3 was whisper quiet in the road as well. When we got back into the Atto 3 my wife went Oh! Yep, there is a difference. The Atto is fine, but a completely different drive and the tyres are a little noisy.
Are you going to test the Premium 230kw RWD version? This is my likely choice.
I will try. 50% of sales will be the premium model. Nither of these sedans do well on steep driveways.
So crazy driving on the wrong side :D
well, if they drive in your country will it be wrong side for them too
@@RW_CreativeMedia they are the minority from a global point of view, aren‘t they ?
Chris is this your first review, as you didn't seem to much about the car, as least a little bit of your homework on the car.
Consumption kw 130 km/h?
My guess would be between 20-25 kWh
Chris you say you never take ur Atto 3 out of sport mode but you don’t understand why you need the seal performance model. Take the plunge and come to the dark side Chris
Seal Premium has 80kw more power than the Atto 3. I'm sure that would be more than enough of an increase over the Atto 3 without needing to purchase the Performance. As I said above, the Tesla M3 has amazing power, and is less powerful than the 230kw Seal Premium at 208kw. So, the Premium is plenty enough for me. 🙂
Too much performance for me:)
