Hello Jan! Apologies for the late response. I have yet to use it on a trip but that should be happening soon. So far, I think it is a solid tent minus the mesh to fabric ratio….ill have to see how that will affect the tent’s performance.

This is one of those products that OneTigris could make just some minor modifications on and it would be really compelling budget tent. Cutting back on the fabric for more mesh, and adding an extra loop on the wider end of the rainfly to fully pull it away from the inner tent would make this a great choice for a less expensive one-person tent. Otherwise, Teton's Mountain Ultra 1P isn't all that much different from this as far as size and design, and is a lot cheaper.
I'm interested to see how the extra fabric affects the ventilation for you, and I like that they included the ground sheet with the tent; it's annoying to spend extra money on those, but if you want to protect your tent's floor, they're really a necessity.
I couldn't agree more with you! We will see how this tent performs. Hopefully I can get it out in some warm temperatures soon. As for the Teton Sports Tent, their line up of tents for the Mountain Ultra model, you can't beat them! What a great tent!
