Awesome episode. Thanks for sharing those useful tips regarding the buddy heater. I just bought myself a smaller BTU Kovea Cubic butane heater for cooler weather camping and im sure similar best practices will apply! I need to get myself a thermopro thermometer like yours! cheers V

When you were talking about injurying you knee, That sounds like a meniscus tear or MCL sprain, In Ontario we received a great deal of snow December 3, 2024, One place just to the north received 140 CM, in 1 day. and it hasnt stop but for an hour. I've made Hotdogs, BBQ burgers, chili, Fajitas, stew, and more camping, but breakfast is my fav when camping. From bacon and eggs to breakfast burittos, I love a good camping breakfast. 😊

I wish you a lot of luck and pray that you get to a point of doing UA-cam full time. I scrapped my old channel and started my new one in 2019. I am about 1/2 way to the number of subscribers and watch time. 90% of my viewers are not subscribed. I personally think it's time UA-cam drops that old metric. When I first started in 2007 (old channel) you only needed 10,000 views - but certain UA-camrs ruined that. Anyway best of luck and I enjoy your videos.

I am not a camper but to answer your question, I think a nice bowl of chili made on the fire with all the fixings would be nice. Hearty and warm to help with the relaxation in the cold weather.

The one thing I remember most about camping when I was younger is the smell of bacon frying in the open air, and all of us kids running back to camp shouting bacon! Breakfast! We would like a herd of buffalo coming through!!😮

I'm in east GA and was supposed to go camping the weekend Helene came through. Had some trees take out our shed. Still cleaning up and rebuilding, so I think my plans are off for this fall unfortunately, so I'm living vicariously through your adventures. 😂
