When an Apache stretches out, gets on top of the water, and hits its stride, it's a wonderful thing to witness! Warpath and Predator in the same clip...NICE!
47 is in my near future. I just found out they still build Apaches. Sexiest bad ass wave smashing monster, with nostalgic to go with it. U can have the Cats.. These boats draw heads like no other when you read comments on boat festivals and Apache cruises by.
I mean..as a boater w/my fam for 40 years and an offshore racing fan that entire time this is almost a joke. The Chief w/this setup is destroying most of the competition. I can't tell how many are out in front of you. Around 13:30 and race's end y'all got really close to 'Wazzup' which I think is a Fountain I remember from several years back. This is just like the 1980's Apache's that the great Bob Saccenti built!! Incredible footage here and GREAT job to whoever was steering, navigating and whoever was on throttles because having been around plenty of Great Lakes race action in the 80's, 90's and 00's I can tell your crew knows what they're doing. Stay safe out there and keep yourselves and that amazing Chief in one piece.
I grew up working on the boards in jersey. I use to crawl all over these boats as a child at the Benihana. Apache #69/US1. You’re right tho. These boats are supposed to be offshore in six foot seas no inshore like today
@@boburwell9921 That's right.. put this Apache or any '36-'41 80's era Apache or new era Apache with the right engines, drives and crew..take them in 80 degree weather and take them off shore in 4-6 foot seas against most of the Cat's..the Apache's V is better. I'd rather be in a deep-V than a Cat in any weather anyway. Cat's look nice, they're fast, they're well built but the mid- hull tunnel thing has always bothered me. I look at them and think..a tad too much air or a wave a tad too big and she'll flip. No thanks.
@@boburwell9921 Yep..and if they were raced in both the salt and the fresh water of the Great Lakes or just fresh water and properly kept out of the water and had motors & drives flushed, they'd be in even better condition. One can only hope & dream, lol.
It was the predator remember her from lake Cumberland Ky mid 1990s. Come up beside her leaving no wake zone at Jamestown the sound made my 19 yr old heart skip. Had to start asking questions told me he had 4 big block blown chevys and a fuel bill of 1500.00 for yesterday. Wow gave me goose bumps

Arneson drives are so badass!! Greetings from Oslo Norway 🇳🇴
Thanks for the ride!!
My new meditation soundtrack.
😌🌴 🌞 🚤
Crying while watching this because someone else owns this boat other than me
me too....
Those turns are brutal
Laps just flying by😊😊
Running 100 in a true v bottom with no steps feels AWESOME!!!!!
This boat is actually a twin step design, regardless it is a awesome feeling!
AWESOME IN THE BOAT FEELING, JUST AWESOME.
Great point of view
CHIEF WARPATH OUT AT FRONT 🏁
Nice footage 🔥😎
Great video! ACM always does quality videos. Would love to see a video showing more of the boat including the Arneson drives.
Thankyou Jeff! We will work on that next time!
Baddest boats ever created 🪓
70mph turns, whoa!
Dynamite run, taking no prisoners today!

It is THE muscle car of boats. 👍
That boat kept getting fasted as it burned off fuel. That’s a real race boat.
96mph on that pass. Nice

Bob did create this one.

@@Lynchfan88 40 years in saltwater and they’d still beat the pants off anything out there in rough conditions.

That is just badass!
Running alongside the Apache Predator.

awesome!
Goin to get me a one. One days. .. love to buy this business too
Merc 860s or 1100s would be better choices imho.
There's no way it's topping out at 96mph. It would do 90 in 6 foot seas offshore
You have to look at who’s driving the boat. It damn sure ain’t ole Ben and bob behind the controls
Notice the woke crowd isnt crying about Apache boats using names like Fire Water etc. Ill bet they are affraid to.
Soup for super women ,men amd womeN 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Apaches on a lake is pointless…., start with 5 foot seas.
Most dangerous thing in this video is the POS Robinson helicrapter.
Get some!
