As guy thats been 173mph on water (In Speed Racer back when it was twin 1550s) This video makes my hair stand on its end, and puts a smile on my face known that ultra ultra fast Vee bottoms are still here to stay. Congrats to every single person that made this happen, you all deserve a HUGE pat on the back, and I thank you for letting us all see what that boat can do (and will do) in the future. Well done, seriously Congrats.
I would sit on my dock, watching and listening to that thing all day while drinking beer begging for him to stop and ask me to come along for just one ride. I'd be his neighbor any day.
She was still pulling, we didn't reach full throttle till the last few seconds. This was our very first try with no changes to our setup other than the 1550 HP tune.
@@elvinmunoz8937 We dont want to say at the moment but it still has more in power as well as room for improvement on the setup for this type of run. We literally just changed the fuel , put in the 1550 HP key and went out with no setup for top speed.

Hey thanks for getting back to me I will check your videos out I was being funny my uncle use to race offshore Dick Riddle and it's tough have good end of season and New season
172mph! Unreal! From a nerdy gear head point of view, I think surface drives are the coolest thing ever put on a boat. Just from a visual standpoint, if nothing else.
great video !!! shout out to Idle Hour Yacht Club...passed them fast. nice machine. did the other guy chip in for gas? 112 octane. lol. lo...ouch. award winning video.
This Makes Jim Shultz Factory Billet boat look more impressive? Faster is the kilo on rougher water in a pleasure boat with AC - stereo and Ice maker? Still love the speed!
cool ..... something breaks like a lower unit at that speed how many yards of hook or wobble room do you get before a boat dock? Oh wait that was down current? Minus 3 knots
You’ve got a little bit of chine walking going. You’ve got your trim wrong. You can easily get another between five and 10 miles an hour if you just get it smooth and get your trim, correct
If one drive or engine breaks and it stops pushing the boat, the other working drive will want to make boat turn before you can get off the throttles. You can see how fast this can happen at 170MPH. Not a good thing!
That has to be insane standing on the shore watching this boat fly by. Wow!

@@erikradzins Thank you very much!
Incredible. That engine sounds like a symphony orchestra. So awesome.
I could listen to that sound all day!
172 Nice! You're ready for Haulover.
That is impressive gentlemen and rightvin my back yard. Love hearing these boats go by
Wow, fountain still ruling the water, those engines sounded smooth. They weren’t working very hard at all at 125 mph!
she's GLUED to the water, smooth as silk
Beautiful run. Takes serious talent and guts to do that !! Thnx for sharing this.
160+ 300ft off shore neighbors must love you guys. sweet
Wake up call.
That exactly what I was thinking.
Oh relax. Do you realize that the wake is actually a lot smaller at that speed? Just saying.
@@vigilanterc That’s not the type of wake that I was referring to.

She's got 180 in her 🏁 nice run!

@americancustommarine Nice, how fast you think it can go with that hp?
Yea, looked like it would do more. Hammer down!!! Don't waste that race fuel lol

@americancustommarine I'm looking forward to see it break some records.
thats badass Mike, Cant wait to see what it will really do once you dial it in a little more. 172 is cookin!
That has got to be one of the fastest Vee hulls. It takes more talent than a cat to run those speeds.
Now that is fast, that rear shot really shows the speed its doing with the engines sounding like there is more in it.

@@americancustommarine Love these boats, shame I'm In Australia as we just dont have boats like that in numbers.
Damn! She sounds amazing! Got a ride in a 32' nordic "v" with twin 1050's many years ago. 100mph on water is intense! Can't imagine 172mph! 😮
Hey thanks for getting back to me I will check your videos out I was being funny my uncle use to race offshore Dick Riddle and it's tough have good end of season and New season
Absolutely fantastic!! Love those SCS surface drives.
SCS Dropbox gear boxes paired to Arneson ASD8 surface drives 👍🏻
That was F-king incredible
I bet them motors loved them cool temps. Awesome video
As the kids call it "Boost Season" lol
I love how just when you think she might be done, those 1550s spin even more rpm 😮💨
It sounds amazing!
My gosh 🔥 I hope this boat participates in at least 2 or more races in Florida in the 2025 season 🙏🏾

We are more worried about the smiles per gallon lol
Keep posting more test runs !
That was amazing!
Awesome video!
Dream boat!
Holy snikeis good job guys
Would love to see a video from the shore to get a sense of the speed as it goes by.
Been that fast on a rice rocket can’t imagine being in that boat, not that I wouldn’t… that takes balls
Jaw dropping.
Wow, chinewalking at that speed has to be unnerving, to say the least.
I have a John boat with a 15 HP motor. It's rad. 👍

I like the Factory Billet boat, but they need to bring it out to race offshore, because this Fountain is going to the line.
Nice! Is a big boat like this impossible to steer out of the chine walk tho? Seemed you only used sticks to settle it.
Not impossible but at that speed you want as little steering input as possible, things can go bad in a hurry if it grabs at 170 with the wheel tweaked
So that’s what 30 lbs of twin turbo twin engine boost sounds like 😳😳
Guess I’ll take my quint 450r’s and go cry in the corner 😂
Awesome!
Add some more prop. Awesome run!
Sick speed for a vee hull!!!
It’s more than a vee hull it’s a fountain
Yes this fountain is approaching cat speeds! U see the ol vee hull at ozarks shootout this year
@@millenniumotorsFast, but Really, Not really Big Cat numbers
170+ and she sounds like she just wants to keep going!
OZARKS 2025 LETS GO!
Amazing!
Wow! What a great video, incredible speed and sound! Really enjoyed that! 👍
Very nice 👌
cool ..... something breaks like a lower unit at that speed how many yards of hook or wobble room do you get before a boat dock? Oh wait that was down current? Minus 3 knots
That got 200 in it all day, 100 was effortless, tweek the props
Take my money. I'm in.
Where is this test taking place? ❤
Nice!!
Fountain boat is best boat.
Matsato tout dans la pub rien dans l’couteau!
is there much difference between high speed up current and down current? does your machine even notice ?
I’ve heard it’s about 5-6 mph faster with current on that river. Not sure if that’s true.
It will affect it by a few MPH, there are a few different factors that depends how much it will affect it

Mehn please be quiet. I’m sure he laughed at ur comment just the way I did. U really told a pilot his trim is wrong 🤣
Seemed like it had a little more in it.
Dudes!!!
Nice
Nasty ! Come on 181+ both ways for a kilo ! Forever Fountain !!! ... GOD Bless
Beastttt. The passenger did not like that lol
No worries in the cockpit, we had to keep a close eye on all the gauges since we never pushed it like this before.👍🏻
Impressive acceleration…
Holy shit!
I have that prop on my Jon boat.
I want one ☘️
Fuel , $19.00 + per gal .
172mph is 276 klm an hour. The fastest I’ve ever been in a car is 245klm.😮
Price ?
Whoa!
Good talk, so to speak.
Outerlimits just passed you at 180+
Wow that's hauling ass

Not as bad in a staggered V bottom but yes you are correct it will make it pull towards the side not propelling.
That’s a bad mother(beep)
À peu près aussi intéressant que de rouler à 240 km/h sur une autoroute rectiligne 🙄
Je préfère la voile, moins de bruit et de pollution 😁
Leti masina
Now let's see it do some real racing not just cruising around
Plenty of videos on our channel, check them out 👍🏻
Hey, that's how fast my Ducati goes, no fair!
