wow, I bet the doctors REALLY appreciate that you are present and know what truly is going on rather than just fulfilling orders. You seem extremely knowledgeable and offer great advice, I definitely am subscribing so when nursing school starts for me, I can go back and rewatch some of these videos! thanks!!
I hope they do, I just hate not knowing the WHY to something... it's the nerd in me, haha.
I want to be a great nurse like you! You motivate me to study harder :)
Thank you for your support and for watching.
I am currently in Nursing School...second semester and I love your videos...awesome and very informative...keep posting them please :)
The Lab Notes pocket guide is now on my wishlist!
I need all of this in my life!
You are great! I'm currently a 3rd year nursing student and interested in working in ICU. What do you think I can do to help prep for my success? What has helped you? My school has a clinical rotation in ICU towards the end of my program. Thanks!
I love your videos, thank you for sharing with us. Do u think I will help LPN or LVN?
Good morning I was just on the AANC website looking for the bundle package, but with no luck. I was wondering if you could recommend where I can locate this information I am looking for something like this to better my knowledge base when I am on the floor after assessment of my patients
Great picket guides can be found at www.aacn.org/store?category=QuickRef
OMG! I wa just looking on amazon to buy that one and docunotes
Would you recommend this series for students during clinicals as well? Ive been looking for a guide like this.
Oh yes, tons of content in tiny packaging.
***** Awesome, thanks
Do you carry all of those on the unit with you? and if so how do you store it?
I eagerly await your videos. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I would like to to become a critical care nurse like you are now or at least were. I have completed my first semester of nursing school. Because of life, I will continue nursing school in the fall 2014 , continuing with my second semester. 1st semester in my associate program was geriatrics. 2nd semester is Med-Surg--OB/Peds. I also work 2-3 times per week 8 hour shifts at a nursing home that is owned by a hospital . I feel I can start working at the hospital after 6 mos to a year. What is the quickest route to become an adult critical care nurse? I would like to do thoraco-cardio or even pulmonary critical care. How can I save some time. I plan to do some med-surg nursing for 1-2 years because I am very new to the medical field.
I would recommend doing a PCU floor and working up from there to your ICU goals. Many of my friends started on the Medical-Surgical floors and had to do the step-down units (PCU) before being considered for ICU positions. But this is my experience, I hope this helps. Thank you for your support : )
Ms. Nacole, What are the 2nd pocket guides (that you showed) called? You said you paid $44 & they look like pamphlets that are easy to carry in your pockets. Thanks :)
I got them from the AACN bookstore, they have an entire series of pocket guides.
You are the best! Thanks so much :)
You're welcome.
I have that lab notes book!! love your vids so much...very motivational
Glad you liked this book too, thank you for watching : )
The link leads to a page that no longer exists in your blog. I can't find them at AACN.Org in a bundle. Will you please let me know where I can purchase this bundle?
