Yup, I've been thinking about it, but I need to stretch the budget a bit. The problem is I saw several videos with falcons attacking drones and wouldn't be happy to see them messing with my brand new device, lol.
Nice job getting them back 👍 I keep my birds locked up till March too many hawks here mostly cooper hawks they hide in the trees they can’t catch them in the air only ambush them .
Yes, I hate them hiding in the trees and attacking when the pigeons try to get to the loft. And not once but several times in a row, this is really annoying. 2 days ago they kept attacking about 15 times, the pigeons had to fly fast 1,5 hours in cold wind, really hard day for them. I wish the falcons get back because they were away for a few days, hawks usually go away because the falcon kicks their ***. Now it snows for a week so I will give them a break to recover.

Oh, thank you. I have 165 pigeons in total, the flying ones being 46. They used to be around 70 but the selection was harsh this time, especially because of the really bad weather with continuous winter raining affecting their health.
Everything is perfect there: the pigeons, the music, the scenery, the filming, the shots, so on...👍 If I wouldn't love pigeons that much, I almost love raptors too...😆 But we are God's children, all of us...🤷♂️😊
Without any raptors it would be really boring and all the weakest birds would survive to pass on their genes which would be a disaster for the prey species. But when the raptors are too many and too harsh, no more fun.

Salut Leo. La toti le dau in functie de temperatura si cum se simt, daca sunt prea grasi se aude specific zborul. La cei inchisi le-am dat mai mult sa termine naparlirea dar incep sa le reduc. In general daca sunt peste 5 grade afara le dau cam 20g, de la 0 grade 25g si cand se anunta ger puternic noaptea mai pun porumb peste.

@@Pigeonmaniacom i agree. Goshawks often chase pigeons until they are exhausted to catch them. Thats here in Kenya. They are a major problem. Falcons tend to give up easily
I don't have solutions. I am lucky enough that they do not attack often during summer when I have the young birds learning to fly. Now in winter I would prefer the falcon to get a bird weekly than 50 missed hawk attacks - because they miss most of the time but they ruin the day with their countless attacks especially at the loft. This video only shows two, but 2 days ago I had about 15 hawk attacks, both up in the sky like falcons and also down at the loft when the pigeons were getting ready to come home.
I love this video a lot. Am from Kenya but goshawks are the real problem here compared to falcons which rarely attack my birds. Goshawks rarely miss a catch and are very active in the mornings and evenings hence cant risk allowing my pigeons out during these times. I think this is because of the many trees where these hawks hide before ambushing the birds. They sometimes chase my birds until they are lost

I would catch it to relocate but we are not allowed to do that here. We should be allowed to do that with hawks that turn into pests attacking our lofts and even trying to get in. I have nothing against hawks just hunting up in the air or far from the loft.

Sunt prea buni ca sa ii prindă.
A cam prins cativa iarna asta. A plouat in prostie si nu sunt in cea mai buna forma, cred ca e cel mai greu an de pana acum.
