    Simple. Do lots of push-ups. Don’t be a weak body. Also, never eat yellow snow.

      @jonnysrevenge yeah bro back in the day my buddy who is a bulgarian body building champ said to do a max set of pushups...lets say 80... then for 14 days to do half of that... 40 every waking hour..... we did it and we maxed out the Navy NSW pft.... Jesus Saves!

    Love your content! I've been binge watching your UA-cam videos the last week or so. I wish I had access to your knowledge during my 30 year plus Army career. Helped a high school graduate make weight & pass the new PT test last summer. I used simular TTP's you preach. He passed Basic & AIT. However, your taking it to another level.
    My son is serving at Bragg. Turned him on to your videos.

    Appreciate the insight! I will have to disagree with the point you made at the end about some fitness influencers.
    At least to for me, I understand I will never look like the guys on the reels and shorts. But some of those people do offer valuable insight on how to perform and execute exercises that are optimal for muscle gain.
    Thanks for the solid video, this is a topic I've always been passionate about!

    What worked for me was weighted push-ups , putting your ruck on and do sets of push-ups with ruck. Once it’s time to do regular push-ups it feels easier

    Hey Gritty, I just branched Engineer Corps and I was hoping you could break down some information on Sapper School and how to get in shape with that. I’ve seen the video on your channel and it was super informative but I was wondering if there was anything else you could share to help me prep for it. I have 5 months of BOLC ahead of me but I want to stay ahead of the game.

    8 sets of 14 push-ups. 5 days a week. Heal for 2 days. Next week? 8 sets of 15. 5 days a week. Easy and simple method. By doing this, if I did my PT test tomorrow, I can do 40-50 in a minute. It's consistency and discipline. Get after it!

      KETO or LCHF and intermittent fasting eat in 8 hours windows then just eat once / day max 2500-3000 calories according to training

    Gritty. I am now a big fan. Keep up the good work. Daughter wants to do well on the ACFT. Maybe you can do some newer vids with women in mind? Also, I have been doing some USMC Ser Art “Iron Wolf” workouts high burpee count. I would be interested to hear your take on that style.

      Iron Wolf is the shit. My endurance, strength, and mindset have all benefitted greatly from his philosophy. When you hit 1800 1 pumps in a single session, everything pales in comparison. Nothing can break you

    Training yourself to do 100 pushups in 2 minutes isn't difficult. It's Training yourself that's the hardest part. Then when the pt test comes you just do what you have been training to do.

    I can tell you but your not going to do it because you don't pt on your own. You show up to pt because you have to be there. So you see I'm not going to waste my time with telling you how to succeed.
