I have the craziest story about the Stone Roses. The first time I ever really heard of them was when they were rehearsing for the last tour in the 90s. They used a nightclub in Southport where I was a doorman.
They performed this song first and I thought it was great. Spent the day with them. I have a Pic of me Manny and Ian on the roof of the club. Years later people in Southport didn't believe it and luckily I had one photo. I also got a set of drumsticks. Good times.
