I am very thankful you have found her Angel, This is the family of my 12 cousin, I found them on my family tree and find a grave. I had found the newspaper clipping in news archives about the accident. Bless you for finding and cleaning her Angel.
Yeah I think some of those were posted to their find a grave profiles, but I can’t recall. I’ve added a few photos there myself for this beautiful family.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival In searching archived newspapers for obituaries I came across Linda Lee, the eldest daughter's 4th birthday in the 1952 newspaper. It surprised me, and to see her curls. It touched me. I add what I find to Find A Grave and to family search to help others.
How sad! An entire family wiped out on the same day! Fool drunk drivers are never the ones killed! So satisfying that you found and replaced the missing figure.
It looks great! She will appreciate you!👼 Now they are complete again! Awesome job! Beautiful! I wonder if any of the relatives are alive and ever come out to pay respects
The woman I mentioned in this video comes out and she’s the one that puts the flowers in the center. She was their Nextdoor neighbor and was best friends with the oldest daughter. I know she will be excited to see it back. She told me that an angel sat on Janet’s originally and then the ex wife of an actually family member confirmed that recently.
The family must have died in an accident of some kind, being the DOD are the same. So sad. Nice restoration you did. I just saw the end of your video and see that you posted the family died in a car accident.
You are a good and useful man, sir. And you are teaching your son to be the same. I feel happier knowing about the work you have been doing. You are making the world a little better, bit by bit. Can't help but wonder how the figurine ended up elsewhere, but I suppose the answer isn't terribly complicated. At least our young lady is intact, which cemetery art so often is not. Someone knocked the statue off, either deliberately (and found it too heavy to carry off easily) or accidentally by falling or tripping, and a well intentioned person said oh, a little angel, let's put her by the Virgin Mary. And perhaps this kept the figurine from being further interfered with, who knows. It's quite possible that there are still random people with kindly respect wandering around! Nice work.
So glad you found it! Where does the other one go? The Mary one that was with the angel? So the vase/urn didn’t go there then? Looks great! Thank yo7 so much! Happy weekend to you and Ronin too! Stay safe!

No...I am confident that larger upright one has nothing to do with this family. I would have to look a little closer at that one to see what it really is.
I honestly believe the similarities are very very close enough to be one missing from the Maddry’s head stone. Great Job Christopher! As for the flower pots, I find it interesting that one is on a square base and the other is not. That makes me think that they were mounted in another way or they just don’t belong at the Maddry’ grave site.
Yeah, I don't think they do there at all. I will look around a bit more the next time I go out to check on the angel to see how bright its becoming...maybe I can find where those go next. It really is like a puzzle out there sometimes. Fun putting the pieces back together.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival I just happened to think that when we (my siblings and I) had to finalize the arrangements for my father who passed away 4/13/24 from a long 7 year battle with Dementia that the Cemetery Director advised us that they had a little lady that they’ve seen on security cameras many times just wondering through and rearranging vases and flowers on grave sites and they’ve had to ask her to leave several times. They’ve had to do exactly what you’re doing in securing them so that they can’t be moved and if Family complain, they explain, better attached than moved and not being able to locate them. So in hindsight, to me, it’s a blessing that you located the missing Angel and secured it back to its rightful place and I’m sure the rightful place for the vases will soon reveal itself too. He explained it in a previous video. They were hit by a drunk driver driving home. 3 of them passed at the scene and the little girl passed a few hours later.
It was a car accident. A drunk driver hit them and the youngest little girl died from her injuries after midnight. So her death date is different. Very tragic.
