RIP Little one...... Little Zafir's death cert on Ancestry shows: Cardiac Arrest Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia Intrauterine Asphexia So seems poor little one had a rough start & health struggles from get go Thank you for such a great job on these little ones grave markers
I am wondering about your choice of cleaner...D2???? I looked it up on Amazon and did. Not see it..saw other headstone cleaner..what I. Getting at is I'm inspired to go back to my hometown and attempt to clean up my relatives headstones..I'm now over 100 miles away from there I.n My very late 60s
William T. Polson was born the same day as my sister-in-law. So, he was born the day after Thanksgiving and died on Christmas. Poor little boy and his poor family.
I love the inscription, surely something religious or culturally significant. I was excited to see the book..."God's book of rememberance" would be my thought.
I was wondering if maybe that base you had your box on belonged to this headstone? Maybe it fell over and someone just lay it down hence it facing the wrong way. Much love from the UK 🇬🇧
Hey Chris, I hope you’re well I hope you are. I have a brother that was in the Navy. He was a seal and highly intelligent and left-handed. Have a great day military brother. Sue
It’s a little easier to take the video first and then edit it with your voiceover later. At least that’s my opinion since I usually get caught up in the cleaning so much that I’m quiet.
6-4-24-Try using Lysol toilet bowel cleaner(comes in 2 packs and isn't very expensive and has a pour spout)on the grave stones-it cleans away molds, mildew, crap, and stains of most kinds.ive used it.
Sounds like it might do damage to the stone overtime. Not sure. I’ll keep using the D2 just in case. Yeah it’s not cheap, but the results have been insane.
The name "Zafir" is Quranic in origin, meaning “victor”, “successful one”, “triumphant one” stemming from a reference to "victor" in Quran 48:24 - "It is He who restrained their hands from you, and your hands from them, in the hollow of Mecca, after that He made you victors over them. God sees the things you do.
Not sure how safe those would be on some old stones. And I can only imagine how freaked out a cemetery would be seeing a man out there with a laser machine. Lol. Brakes, I enjoy the workout this gives me.
Hey there. It's no problem. While I don't know all of the chemical make up details....D2 is a biological cleaner that is safe to use on various types of stone. It is what most larger cemeteries use in order to maintain those markers.
No….not exactly. We do have an older video up(one of our first) where we are cleaning a veterans tombstone and his grand daughter actually came to visit him while we were working on it. It wasn’t in bad shape at all since she’s the one that usually keeps his maintained. She was thrilled we were out there doing it though.
My mother, never knew when her exact datev of birth actually was. But, she always celebrated it on January 4th. Which is the date that it was registered as, in the county clerk's office, of her birth town. But, her own father, always told her, of another date, in early January, that he KNEW, was her actual date of birth. He said that because she was born in an apartment house, in a snow storm, by the time he called up the doctor, and the doctor dug out his car, and got over there, it was too late. And Grandma, already had her!!!! So, therefore, her date of birth was recorded wrong, and too, utterly, early. And no way they could have corrected it!!!! Well, rest in peace, to Robert D. And rest in peace, to my mom, "Josephine", too. For only in heaven, the truth is known. And may be revealed, some day, in due time.
I have watched too many videos on the comparison of wet and forget vs D2….I will stick to D2. It’s a much faster working product and I prefer the scrubbing portion in all honesty.
Noble of you. Watched from up here in the South Bronx, NYC.
Well we appreciate it, eyestoenvy.

Thank you for such a great job on these little ones grave markers
That would explain the passage on his marker. So damn sad.
Thank you for looking this up. I'm always curious about these little ones.
sorry, I posted the death certificate before I seen that you already had it.
Thank you for so much extra effort on this little child's headstone....and all the headstones you loving clean so each may shine.
I am wondering about your choice of cleaner...D2????

Incredible count of restorations. Make a log to document your work. You’ve done and incredible job honoring these souls!!
I am also veteran. Thank you for your service Chris.
Which branch? And thank you for yours as well, Sueford
Thank You for what you do , What got into cleaning the headstones. You have good heart
We have a video on our channel that shows how we got started. It’s the one about my 8 year old uncle.
William T. Polson was born the same day as my sister-in-law. So, he was born the day after Thanksgiving and died on Christmas. Poor little boy and his poor family.
I use straight vinegar on my birdbath allowing 10 to 15 minutes to dissolve algae and then scrub with brushes and rinse. It may help with grave stones
Born premature and made it 6 months? My son weighed 1 lb 13 oz and is 27 years old, so every day is good one. He is perfect now
That's because back in the day medical technology wasn't as sop
Love watching you clean l found using mean green does a great job cleaning head stones
I have never tried Mean Green. I’m not sure what chemicals are in that and if they may ultimately affect the stone. I appreciate you watching!
I love the inscription, surely something religious or culturally significant. I was excited to see the book..."God's book of rememberance" would be my thought.
Love the work you do on the headstones.
I usually get D2 at Walmart and is delivered in 2 days.
I have never once seen it for sale anywhere at any Walmart, Home Depot, or Lowe’s.
Great video !
Thanks! Bringing this one back out was an honor.
I was wondering if maybe that base you had your box on belonged to this headstone? Maybe it fell over and someone just lay it down hence it facing the wrong way. Much love from the UK 🇬🇧
I’m not sure. There is definitely some concrete slab there and I can’t think of any other reason for it.
I do understand. What is the tattoo that you have on your left forearm?
Hey Chris, I hope you’re well I hope you are. I have a brother that was in the Navy. He was a seal and highly intelligent and left-handed. Have a great day military brother. Sue
I am the only lefty in my family. My brother retired Marines and I was Army.
I order my D2 from Ebay.
I actually ordered a new gallon the other day. Should arrive this or next week.
It’s a little easier to take the video first and then edit it with your voiceover later. At least that’s my opinion since I usually get caught up in the cleaning so much that I’m quiet.
Yeah I have been trying to think of different ways to really do this channel to make it as pleasant to view as I can. I’m always open to suggestions.

You really have to be careful what you use because it can do damage if it has chemicals.
D2 is the same thing they use at Arlington National Cemetery.
My moms stone looks like this (sunk in in) she’s only been gone since 2017,❤ very hard to keep her and my grandparents clean
That’s very fast to be so far gone. That’s odd for sure.
💐
So this stone faces the opposite direction from the others?
It does. I’ve seen a few adults facing this direction here, but no other children as of yet.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival Is it facing towards Mecca? The family was obviously Muslim and I'm guessing the stone probably faces east?
I buy D2 directly from a monument business. Maybe you could in your state?
I order mine from a place called Atlas Preservation.
Easier and faster would be a laser cleaner but it's way more expensive, like $9k
Not sure how safe those would be on some old stones. And I can only imagine how freaked out a cemetery would be seeing a man out there with a laser machine. Lol. Brakes, I enjoy the workout this gives me.
Poor baby. He was born on my daughter's birthday.
Hard to read but much improved!❤😊
Yeah….wjen they are still wet from the cleaning they can be rather challenging to see all of the details.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival still much better! Great work 👏
Godbless you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼✝️✝️✝️
So hey Chris, Sue Ann here, what year were you born on June 7?
I don’t want to put too much personal information out there.
I have a question what is d2 I was just wondering ty for your time

Ty your so kind
Has anyone ever gotten in touch with you after seeing you cleaning their child’s grave?
No….not exactly. We do have an older video up(one of our first) where we are cleaning a veterans tombstone and his grand daughter actually came to visit him while we were working on it. This is probably a Muslim quote. The name is Arabic.
Yeah I tried to look this specific phrase and couldn’t really find anything.
Use Wet and Forget.
I have watched too many videos on the comparison of wet and forget vs D2….I will stick to D2. It’s a much faster working product and I prefer the scrubbing portion in all honesty.
